Pietro had a less than impressed look on his face though he did join them. Except he took a seat on the couch as opposed to stand.

June got up, resting then handle of her weapon on her shoulders she walked slowly back and forth as she spoke. "It would seem Magneto is far from impressed by your pranks and... skills. The X-men continue you beat you all at every turn, growing stronger, better... While you lot just..." She sighed, "Disappointing."

"But don't despair boys, Magneto is not going to throw you to the wolves. Far from it. How can he expect you to become great if you are not shown the path to it?" She rammed the end of her staff into the floor, "From now on, things won't be so happy go lucky around here. Working around your time at school, you will be training with me.

And when I'm done training you, those X-geeks won't know what hit them." She grinned. "Your first task is to clean that disgracefully excuse for a kitchen while Freddy and I go to the grocery store. Anyone who doesn't help... doesn't eat. Fair enough?" She said, much less bossy and a bit more friendly. Her weapon turned into a furry little cat who sat upon her shoulder.

"Any questions?"

Pietro eyed her with distaste. She actually got to hang out at Magneto's lair and he was holed up in this house, far removed from just about everything his father was up to. He never did like June much and the recent events did not help. "Hmmm. by 'help' do you mean everyone has to do an equal share, or does someone just have to wash a dish to count?" he inquired, "because I've said before and I'll say it again. Just because I can do something faster than you guys, doesn't mean I should." he gave his friends a look. It was really the only reason why Pietro didn't just clean the whole damned house.

She nodded, "An excellent question. And the answer is
, of course, equal amount. You are brothers in arms and you will share the load. Pietro will finish his tadks before the rest of you but he also burns way more fuel doing so." She said bluntly. "Oh and did I mention if all goes well you'll all be helping Magneto personally during Christmas break?" She added.

"How generous" pietro mumbled before he took off to his room. He wasn't in the mood for all this, he didn't care if she was done her little speech yet, and he didn't wait to be 'dismissed'. He wasn't even sure he was hungry though that had been an ongoing issue for awhile now. Not that he let the guys know, they'd just make a deal out of it. Probably because he was one of the only people who could keep pace with Freddy's food intake.

The speed demon sighed as he fell back into the bed of his spotless room-the only clean room in the house. Now that green witch was in his home, at least the bruises were gone but for how long? Or perhaps after what Celeste said to her, she wouldn't hurt him at all?

It was about an hour and a half when a knock came to the door and green orbs littered his floor.

June set two pizza boxes and a couple cans of Coke. "Seems your brothers were insistent you got some of the food..." She said looking around at how damn clean his room was. "Look, you may not like this situation but it will be a golden opportunity to prove your father wrong. You are skilled and I look forward to the day you can kick my ass." She grinned before poofing away.

Pietro hadn't even realized what time it was. He had just laid down a second ago, hadn't he?! The clock next to his bed said otherwise though, sitting up with a yawn it took a moment before he even registered what she said and then she was gone. "I look forward to the day you learn to knock" he grumbled, what if he hadn't just been sleepng? Awkward! That's what. Not to mention this was his room, his one and only sanctuary- was nothing safe from cotton candy and her family?

With a groan he fell back into the bed. Everything seemed to be pissing him off lately and it was wreaking havoc on his health. He took one look at the pizza boxes as his stomach gave an unappetizing flip despite being empty. He rolled over and curled up to go back to sleep.

Brutus stood upon Pietro's chest, pawing gently at his cheeks and purring.

Pietro opened one eye, then groaned and shoved him off as he rolled over.

Brutus toppled over and shook himself before the little guy half jumped over Pietro, landing on his side and having to kick off in order to complete the obstrucle.

He purred brushing his face against Pietro's, the alarm clock reading 11:13 am... On a school day.

"uuhhnnnn, go awaaay" Pietro groaned, swatting at the cat again before noticing the clock. "o.o; oh shit." normally if he had missed this much of the day, he'd say 'screw it' and just not go in at all. However his father had mentioned not too long ago that if he heard about him missing school too much again this year, he was going to be in big trouble. Now of course, MAgneto wasn't in any fatherly position to make him learn anything, but damnit if his son wasn't going to at least go and maybe learn something by accident.

Pietro flopped out of bed and in a blur of movement got dressed-a little too quickly because that worn out part of his jeans ripped from the friction. At least it was just in the leg, Pietro sighed at it and just kept going. He looked at the pizza box that was still there, shrugged and grabbed a few slices before speeding out the door to school.

"Have a good day." Called a voice from the living room. June sat on the couch with several books on the coffee table. Home school, one of the many things she was now accustomed with.

Pietro paused and looked over to her, "Why the hell don't you ever have to go?" he questioned

"Because I don't get the privilege. Nor have I ever stayed long enough in one place to do so..." She said putting down the math text book she'd been working on. She got up and turned her back to him, revealing all the scars on her back, as she slipped a blue translucent shirt over top her black tank top and buttoned it up "I called the school for you, told them you had a doctor's appointment." She picked up her empty glass, heading to the kitchen for refill it. "I told them you may not be up to going to school today depending on how the appointment went..."

Well that was... nice. Pietro eyed her suspiciously as she went to the kitchen. It was definitely cleaner than before, all the big messes gone but it still made Pietro wince a little. They called this clean? The floors needed mopping, the counter had stains to be removed, he was surprised the oven didn't lite the house on fire when they used it. The only major difference was that you could actually move around instead of having a precarious path to the fridge.

He leaned in the doorway with his arms across his chest, "What's the catch?" he demanded

"Hm? Nothing big really..." She said, pouring herself a glass of milk... from a container that didn't have a whole eco system growing from it. "I just want to know how you're feeling." She said taking a big gulp of milk. "And don't say you're fine or that nothing is wrong. I knocked like 10 times last night and the brotherhood of hallway morning calls couldn't wake you up." She leaned against a part of the counter that was clean.

It was a work in progress. She'd have to make a trip to the store for some heavy duty cleaning supplies.

"So I was tired, big deal" Pietro replied, trying to stifle a yawn. Okay, so he was still tired. He had been tired a lot lately and no matter how much he slept it didn't seem to help.

"Uh huh. The guys seemed a little concerned. They say you haven't really been yourself lately... Are you eating enough?" She asked.

Pietro rolled his eyes, "I'm a big boy, I can take care of myself. What's with the motherly routine June?" though technically he didn't give her a yes or no answer.

And Technically Pietro won't know if it was an act or not since the two of them didn't really know each other or spend much time together when they were younger. " Well if I'm going to train you, I need to make sure you're up for it; physically and mentally."

Pietro's eyes hardened as he spoke, "I can handle whatever you throw at me" he stated stubbornly. The bruises might have gone but he wasn't about to forget the beat down she had given him.

"Alright then" She wasn't wanting to pick a fight. She just wanted to know if he had any problems or just needed someone to talk to but she won't pus it.

" Come on, you aren't going to school today." She said heading into the hallway and slipping her purse over her shoulder.

"If I'm off the hook for school today, I'm sure as hell not spending it with you" Pietro replied and in a flash he had gone back to his room and locked the door behind him. He had better things to do, like read comic books and doodle. Or sleep, that sounded like a fun idea, ooooo, beeeed.

Brutus had curled up on Pietro's bed and jumped when he came back.

The door would have kicked wide open if he hadn't locked but she could teleport. "You're off the hook AFTER our shopping trip." She said, making it perfectly clear he was going to have to play along till then. "Now, where do you want to eat?"

"Not hungry" Pietro replied, closing the lid on the pizza box to try avoid her seeing that only two slices were missing between last night and this morning. "But by all means, go out yourself, there's a great burger joint on the far side of town. Or even better, I hear there's one in California you might like. Now get out of my room."
