She looked up, tears being held back, "Scott-sama... I just wanted to be nice. Why do they have to be so mean?"

Scott pulled her close into a hug, that's all she had to say, it was the brotherhood. They were at it again, "I tried to tell you to stay away from them Celeste. They're just... bad people. Sometimes bad people just won't be helped"

"I don't understand... I don't get it. I was being nice..." She let him hold her for a few more seconds before getting back up to pack the bento boxes away. "Scott-sama, can you do a favor for me?"

"Anything" Scott vowed as he helped her clean things up.

"Where do they live?" She asked, wrapping the bento boxes back up, a small look of determination on her face.

Scott gave her a look, "Celeste, no. Don't. They're dangerous and they aren't worth your time."

"Scott, ever since I've started living with you all, all I've heard is about living and working together. How we shouldn't judge people... How they just see things differently because of their situations. If we don't reach out, aren't we just as bad as they are?"

"We have reached out to them" Scott replied, "each one of them we've tried to approach and every time they've shot us down. Magneto or Mystique would get to them first and we haven't been able to change their minds since. We've tried everything, we've offered them every chance but they hate us and as you can see... they aren't afraid to show it."

"Just because they don't want to live with us doesn't mean they're bad people. Please Scott-sama. Can you drive me? Please?"

"Absolutely not" Scott stated firmly, why wasn't she understanding? "I forbid you from going there and that's the end of it."

She tilted her head, "Just because you're older doesn't mean you can order me around. "

"Scott, she's going to do what she wants. I'm afraid she gets that from me." Victoria appeared after just finishing a brief student council meeting. "If you won't take her, I will," She held out her hand for his keys.

"Well you aren't taking my car to do it" Scott replied, a bit irritated now. Celeste may not have known better but Victoria should have. "They'll eat her alive. I won't allow it."

"Oh Scott, they aren't cannibals. Besides I'll be going with her." Victoria corrected him, tapping his lips with her finger. " I'll take you after school." She said referring to Scott not wanting to lend his car. "We still on for study group tonight, Scott?" She asked warmly.

".... yes" scott replied with a sigh. He was going to have to tell xavier. Maybe he could stop them.

"You want to get some ice-cream?" Victoria asked.
"No, it's ok... I'm not very hungry." Celeste said heading back to put the bento box away.

Victoria sighed, "She was up all night making thoses boxes. Just... humour her ok? For me, Scott?" Victoria asked wrapping her arm around his. She'd never let anything happen to her baby sister and the brotherhood from battle experience knew not to mess with her.

Scott just shook his head, "They're only going to hurt her more if she goes there. Maybe not physically but..." he was fuming inside, "I'm going to blast their heads off for this."

"Not if I get to them first." She hummed softly. "Come on hot head, I'll buy you an ice-cream."

Ciara sat at their lockers and was staring at the Styrofoam cup. "Oh, hey... What's wrong? Freddy didn't want the box?"
Celeste sat down beside her, "No... Freddy wasn't the problem... Pietro wouldn't have it. And even after I made them all custom bento boxes..."

"Woah, woah. You made them ALL boxes?!" Ciara blinked surpised.
"Well yeah. They're always hanging out with each other and it didn't seem fair to make them watch Freddy eat...Pietro yelled at me for hand outs and what not."
"You ok?"
"No... Just sad."
"That guy seems to be the ring leader. Anything he says goes."
"Leader of the pack."
"Right, so he probably felt people would think lesser of him-"
"Because I gave them lunches where everyone could see them..." Celeste hit herself in the head, "I should have just given them to Freddy before school... You guys are so weird over here... A girl gives you food is a compliment in japan."
Ciara poked Celeste's cheek, "You read that in one of your Japanese magazines didn't you?"
Celeste smiled and poked her back, "Maybe."
"Come on maybe. I'm buying you some ice-cream." Ciara said pulling Celeste up.
"I'm not-"
"Nonsense, I won't hear of it." Ciara said as they made they're way back to the cafe.

Numerous people were already having at the ice cream, including Scott who had decided to try out the green tea one. So Ciara and Celeste grabbed some, however just before Celeste could take a single lick, a tongue came out of nowhere and grabbed the whole cone from her. It landed in Toad's mouth as he ate the whole thing in one bite from just a few feet away.

"H-Hey!" Celeste said surprised and jumped a little. She put her hands on her hips, "What did you do that for?" Though in truth she wasn't very hungry to begin with. She was really only gonna eat it to humor Ciara.

Toad licked his lips and then looked at the ground and pawed at it with his worn out shoe, "uh... don't... don't eat the ice cream" he replied before turning and taking off.

About ten minutes later, everyone who had eaten the ice cream was in fits of stomach pain, nausea and vomiting everywhere. A good chunk of the school population, including a few teachers, had to go home early. So much so that they decided to give everybody a half-day and sent them all home.

"...oh ok?" Celeste blinked.
"Come on, I'll buy you another one."
"Ciara, really... It's fine."

"Then... left here..." Celeste mumbled as she slowed down on her hello kitty roller skates. Victoria had given her the a piece of paper with the address before they'd carried her away. Mumbling to make sure her food didn't get wasted. "Oh my..." She said coming to a stop in front of the house. She sat down on the curb and slipped on her flats and headed down the path.

The drooling almost dead plant life seemed to spring back to life as she walked by the flower beds; various flowers blooming.
She took a deep breath and knocked lightly on the door. The yawn looked completely different from when she'd first come onto the house.

There was a crashing sound that came from inside and a bit of screaming as well.
"no, I AM KING OF THE MOUNTAIN!" Toad proclaimed.

"NOT IF I GET THE WAND OF MYSTIC SLIME FIRST!" Lance screamed, more crashing.

"NOT IN A BAJILLIAN LIGHT YEARS!" Freddy yelled. The ground shook a little bit.

"Common Pietro! Gimme a hand here yo!" Toad called for him.

"Maybe later Toad" Pietro's voice was actually quiet but still audible because he was opening the door, his head still turned as he replied to his friend. There was something a bit off about him, his wind-swept hair was a little messier than normal and he had changed his clothes since she last saw him at school. A long sleeve shirt despite the hot day and it was clear that they did not have AC, "I'm not in the... mood" he trailed off a little as he turned to see Celeste standing there. A glare crossed his face and he immediately slammed the door on her.

"Yo! who was it?!" Toad called.

"Nobody" Pietro replied, through Toad's head stuck out the window to take a look.

He blinked and then hopped out and over to Celeste, he actually seemed a bit worried, "What're you doing here yo?" he spoke in a hushed voice, his eyes darting around to see if anyone was watching, "You got a death wish or something?"

She actually blushed when she saw him open the door, surprised by his appearance change.

She shook her head, when Toad came over "No. I just don't like to see good food go to waste." She pulled the wrapped up bento boxes out of her bag and onto the step. "I don't want to intrude. So I'll... Oh dear." She turned to see the bushes and plants brightly blooming. "I got to stop doing that..." She mumbled to herself.

Toad blinked at her, "seriously yo ?" He questioned, rather impressed. He stared at the bushes in amazement, "wooaaahhh cool!" The boy exclaimed.

"Hey toad! I got your cepter, what chya gonna do about it?" Called lance from inside, "toad? Where'd ya go?"

"I'll yet ya for that!" Called back the greenish skinned boy before looking at celeste again, "I'll make sure pietro don't see, but you gotta get outta here" he whispered to her. "Before somebody else sees" he seemed rather anxious about it. "His dad's already pissed at him"

"Of course." She nodded, a small smile on her face. She didn't plan on staying anyways. "And thanks for this afternoon, that was very brave of you." She said referring to the ice-cream. It wasn't hard to figure out that everyone who had eaten the ice-cream had gotten sick. She put her finger to her lips, assuring him his secret was safe with her. She took a few steps and the plant life seemed to grow with each step, she turned and took a deep breath and the grass settled back in between the stones on the path.

"Bye." She said softly before turning to leave.
