Loki payed her no attention at that point as his thoughts moved elsewhere. Yes, this little trip had been necessary, not just in gathering materials but also getting up to date with certain Midgardian events. With the x-men so preoccupied in searching for the sisters, they weren't picking up on as much Light activity. Not that the x-men were really big players before but still.

Taking over Midgard would not be an easy task but it had been one in the making for many years and finally now it was coming together. With the power of Jotenheim to back him up, he just needed a few more pieces of the puzzle. Except Jotenheim itself had begun to create problems he hadn't anticipated before. He had underestimated the amount of resistance he would receive, it was supposed to be set in stone by now.

Loki found himself drawing in the sand, trying to map something out but it didn't seem to be going well. Many things were not going well for the new King. The sisters took up too much of his time but without them he was dead in the water. Byliestr, it seemed, could not be stopped or found. The Frost Giants were resistant to every change he tried to implement, no matter how small or how beneficial it would be to them. They were all so close minded and aggravating!

The portal had been open for nearly ten minutes and Loki still sat there, staring into the little patch of sand that had become a war zone of incoherent scribbling.

Ceres sat up and wrapped herself back in her kimono before walking over and shaking Loki on the shoulder, "Loki-sama... It's time."

"Hm?" he blinked and looked up, seeing the portal and for a split second Ceres saw something familiar in his gaze. Something she had seen in herself not so long ago at the hotel. Loki almost didn't want to go back either.

Still, he stood and brushed off his jacket, stepping forward while making certain that Ceres was next to him as they walked through.

Ceres slipped her hand into his as they walked through. She didn't like portal jumping but... hopefully the x-men would find the clues she left behind. But there was no way in knowing if they would.... She'd made sure while walking over to the park to face as many cameras as possible.

"Celeste... she was here!" Ciara said as they walked through the park. Luke had been here just before he vanished. She stared at the filed filled with all sorts of pink flowers. "Come on... you must have been trying to tell us something..."

"Fan out, search the area" Scott ordered and they split up to look for clues.

They searched the area. Ciara stood and stared at the flowers for a few mins before running up a near by hill. The flowers looked like they were in some kind of pattern and since this was a field and not a flower bed, it was clear someone had put them there. Ceres loved pink and the fact there was all these flowers

"SCOTT!" She yelled finally seeing it. Ciara pointed at the flowers in the field. The flowers made the shape of a pink bird and underneath it was an arrow and a waterlily. Ciara tried to hold by her tears. Celeste was alive..."Waterlily." It was a inside joke between them as Celeste's room was pink and hers was blue. She didn't know what the pink bird meant but it was clear the arrow was pointed at the hotel.

Scott jogged up the hill, soon joined by a teleporting Kurt and the others. The leader cast his eyes long the arrow, "... the hotel. Kitty, find out everything you can about that hotel. I want surveillance videos and the name of every person who's stayed there over the last week."

Ciara couldn't hold back the tears, "She was here..." It was like a huge weight had been lifted from her chest. "We'll find you... I swear."

"Uhhh.... guys" Bobby's voice could be heard as he stepped out of the jet, "The signal's gone..."

Ciara stopped and quickly ran to the jet, "No no no nononononono." She basically pushed Bobby out of the way and ran up the ramp. She tapped at the keyboard. The signal was gone... She replayed the last min of the recording of his location and noticed how it did something funky. It didn't just stop, it blinked rapidly before disappearing completely.

If Luke had found the device and crushed it, it would have just disappeared on the map. "...What the hell..."

"I didn't do anything to it, I swear!" Bobby declared.

Ciara shook her head, "No you didn't... He did something here." She pointed at the place he'd been sitting for the past hour and a half. "Something I can't explain..."

Scott looked at the map then moved tot he jet controls and started putting in the coordinates, "lets go check it out then."

"We should wait for Kitty to get back from recon...." They could review the data during the flight.

Scott nodded, though he didn't like this. Not one bit. Who was this guy and what was he up to? Not to mention why did he show up all of a sudden after months? What did he come back for?
"Ciara" he spoke suddenly, "he was by the brotherhood house, right?"

"Yeah. He was... What are you thinking?"

"We've only seen signs of Celeste, not the others. He wasn't stupid enough to bring her back home but maybe he dropped something off for her." it didn't make a lot of sense but nothing else seemed more logical either, "Call the brotherhood, I wanna know if he left anything for Pietro."

"I'm on it." Ciara opened one of the over head compartments and pulled out the satellite phone. "I'll be back." Ciara hopped out of the jet and dialed up the brotherhood house.

As usual took a little while before someone answered. "Yo yo yo, you wanna buy a toaster? Fifty bucks and it's yours!" Toad had picked it up. The brotherhood had a lot of fun with telemarketers.

"Hello Todd, it's Ciara. Have a question for you... Did something for Pietro show up at your door?"

"Oh hey Ci. Uhh, lemme check yo. YO GUYS!" he yelled into the house, barely pulling away the phone from the noise, "HEY YO! SHUT UP ROCKY. ANYTHING SHOW UP FOR QUICKIE?" there was some mumbling and then Toad turned back to the phone, "Yeah, some letter. Freddy tossed it in his room. Hey, you heard from him recently? It's been about a week since he checked in yo."

Ciara thrusted the phone away from her. "No I haven't. But when he does. Tell him to come home. I ran into that asshole, Luke, on my way home from your place. We think he was delievering something to Pietro for Celeste... "

"Yo for reals?" Toad questioned, "that's messed up yo. Why would he do that?"

"I don't know but it's clear he's somehow involded with the girls kidnapping. Seems he's a teleporter... We're in England are now, seems Celeste was here. I'll give you the full lay down when we get back... Don't lose that letter."

"Aye aye captain" toad replied, sounded like he probably saluted as well.
