Laughing a bit, Draco hugs back, "Thank you. I'm glad you agree." He grins at Harry, showing he said it in jest.

Harry laughs and smiles. "It's to bad we didn't get along in school." He really wishes that they could have been friends in school. Who knows where they would be right now.

Draco sighs, shaking his head, "If I had been less insulting, we possibly would have." He shrugs,"Well, too late for regrets."

"We're friends now. And to me that's all that matters." Harry says as he leads him through the house. He enjoys spending time with Draco.

Smiling, Draco follows after. "Well, I'm happy to be considered a friend." A nice change from rival or enemy. Especially since friendship was what he'd wanted in the first place.

And maybe it will lead to us being more then friends. Harry thought to themselves as the walk. Soon they are in a decent sized family room. There on the wall is the Potter family tree.

Walking up to it, Draco nods, "Looks about right. There's Dorea Potter, mother's great-aunt." He glances over at Harry, smiling, "Your grandmother."

Harry runs his fingers gently across the name. He looks down seeing his father's name still there. Does that mean he wasn't hated the way Sirius' mother had hated Sirius for turning his back on the family. Had his father turned his back on the family or were the Potters supporters of non-purebloods? There was so much he would never know.

Guessing what Harry is thinking, Draco puts a gentle hand on his shoulder. "She was considered very nontraditional. From what little I know, she married Charlus for love. He charmed her right out of her shoes." He chuckles, "Literally." Looking at Harry speculatively, he says, "Like this."

A flick of his wand and a softly murmured spell has harry out of his shoes, and falling over, only for Draco to catch him. He holds the other man in his arms, like a dip in a dance, for a long moment, and tugs him back up. Still holding Harry, arm loosely around the man's waist, Draco says, "Now, what had he said?" He hums, then perks up, "Ah! Yes." Grinning, he says, "I see you fell, but don't worry, I fell for you, too. How about we trip our way to Hogsmeade?"

He nods, and says, "She cursed him blue for it, but accepted the date."

Harry gasps as he is literally knocked out of his shoes. He is glad that Draco is there to catch him, though he does blush furiously. He lays his head on Draco's shoulder once he is upright and smiles at the story. "I'm not surprised she cursed him blue." He says with a soft chuckle. "Are any of my family still alive?" He asks his arms around Draco. He really doesn't want to move from this position. Some how this feels right to him.

Draco rubs Harry's side, "You're mother's second cousin, I think? And there are some other people. The Weasleys are distantly related. Really, any pureblood family is distantly related to you in some way." He shrugs, looking over the family tree, "We're a small community. New blood only makes it better." He knows that now.

Harry wonders why he wasn't sent to his family that would care for him. Why was he sent to his aunt and uncle? Why was he sent to people who hated him and what he was. Though deep down he knows it's cause the wizarding world wasn't safe for him. But it still hurt. Hurt to know that he might not have had to go through all that hell his aunt, uncle and cousin had put him through. It just wasn't fair.

"Anyone else you want to know about? I likely will only be able to help with a few, but I'll do what I can." He's not really sure who else harry would want to know about. He only really had a cute Story for Dorea because his mother told him it once, when he was asking for ideas on how to ask someone out.

He did not use that one. It was a Gryffindor thing, and not at all Slytherin. Snape would have skinned him for potions.

"Nothing that comes to mind." Harry says his arms still around Draco. He wants to stay like this forever. He had hated being in this mansion by himself. But yet it still felt like home. He lets out a soft sigh.

Humming in thought, Draco shrugs. "Well, onward!"

He pulls away, still holding Harry's hand and dragging him along. "Let's see what you've got in the library." Likely nothing too interesting. Since, well, Potters. Eh.

Unless Harry's mother had interesting tastes in reading materials. He's heard hardcore light magic is as dangerous as hardcore dark magic. If there are any books like that, he wants first dibs before Granger shows up to read it all.

And Harry's father was incredibly skilled in transfiguration. He's sure Harry would like to see any books on that. Along with any defense or charms information. See what information Dumbledore dropped out of the teaching curriculum.

Harry laughs as Draco pulls him along. For some odd reason he feels like a giddy school girl. He's so afraid he'll wake up and all of this will have been a dream. He hopes against all hope that this isn't a dream. He so does not want to wake up in the Leaky Cauldron. So if this is a dream he hopes to keep on dreaming.

Finding the library is simple enough, if with a bit of trial and error. They end up walking into three empty rooms, one guest bedroom, and three closets before Draco gets there. He carefully ignores that, and heads into the library, pleased at the size.

He can see how it seems to be sectioned off in odd ways. It seems that the Potters practiced the library organization of putting books how a family member wants them. A section for each member of the family, and when that family member is no longer in living memory of the youngest member, that section is folded into the larger part of the library. And the largest section of library is cannibalized at a family member's discretion, to place their favorites in their section.

Sometimes, Draco wishes he had a library like this, but he also knows that the Malfoy library is better organized and it is easier to find things when it is all where it should be, not stashed away because one family member likes those books best.

Harry walks through the library his fingers running his fingers over the spine of the books. He does wonder on how they are organized. He also wonders what books his parents enjoyed reading. There were so many books on so many subjects. He just smiles as he moves around the library.

Draco goes to what he assumes is Lily Potter's section. It is the area where the lady of the house has it, should this be how the family likes their library. He says loudly, pulling out a random book and flipping through without actually looking at it, "Will you be keeping the sections out, or folding them into the entirety of the library to start anew?" Since technically, Harry has no memory of his parents.

That he knows of, anyway.

"I have no idea." He says still overwhelmed by it all. He goes over to check out the book Draco is flipping through. "Find anything interesting?"

Actually looking at the book, he sighs, "No. There's some.. gibberish here. Beautiful gibberish, granted, but gibberish nonetheless. The script looks like mock High Elvin; as if someone saw the wood elves write, and wanted to do it as well." He pushes it, open faced, into Harry's hand. "See? Lovely, but unreadable." He pushes it up a bit, so he can see the cover, and blinks. "Huh. Gorgons. Odd. The picture is lovely, showing off their flowing snake hair. Too bad about Medusa. She never deserved what happened to her."

"I an read it." Harry says. He thinks for a minute. "Do you think it could be written in parsaltongue?" He asks as his eyes go wide. It would be nice to read stuff in that tongue. And it would make sense, since he could speak parsaltongue. Harry takes the book and looks at the cover. "A History of Parsaltongue." He reads.

Staring at Harry, it takes a very great deal not to back away. Talking to snakes only has bad connotations in his head now, due to the Dark Lord. But... Harry won't set a snake on him. If anything, he gets the impression Harry would tell a snake to leave him alone.

So he firmly stays put, asking in a completely calm voice, "Does it explain why there's a written alphabet for it?" He guesses it makes sense, since Gorgons. have hands, but not so much why they aren't using another language.

"I honestly have no idea." He admits. He can tell that Draco wants to back away. He wishes he hadn't said he could read it. Just one more thing between him and Draco. He closes the book and put sit back on the shelf where Draco had gotten it from.

Picking it back up, he presses it into Harry's hand, "You said it's a history about the language right?" Not giving the other man time to respond, he continues, "You could figure out why they're using the language. Not something like.. Greek." Since Gorgons. "It'll be interesting." He /is// curious about that.
