Marie nodded a bit.

"Yeah," she said. "Should be alright." She would make sure her sister was okay, and they would keep an eye on the Doctor.

Jack nodded and stretched a bit.

"Well, let's go see what the Doctor found, shall we? He always finds something interesting."

Marie nodded and gestured for him to lead the way.

Jack headed back to the Tardis and pushed the door open.

"Find anything fun, Doctor?" he asked, glancing around.

"Could ask you the same thing, Jack," the Doctor replied as he examined a rolled-up rug that was leaning against one of the coral-like branches inside the Tardis.

"You know I always do," Jack said with a grin, pulling out one of the little melons. "Nothing that needs attention this time, though. For now." He tossed the melon over.

The Doctor caught the melon and set it aside on the console.

"Well, once this rug is out of the control room, I'll set a course for a new planet," he said. "What do you say to a planet of treehouses and floating ocean cities?"

"Sounds like fun," Jack agreed. "As long as we're not jumping off the cities, I haven't forgotten about that."

Jess poked her head out from somewhere. "I hear a story there," she said.

"Jumping is a popular sport on the planet we're headed to," the Doctor replied. He smirked. "They got Jack to try it out."

Jess snickered and Jack pouted.

"No more jumping off things," he said. "And that wasn't even the incident I meant, I know we've had to jump more than once because you made someone mad."

"That was hardly my fault," the Doctor replied. "Besides, I distinctly remember at least once where you flirted with someone you weren't supposed to."

Jack shrugged. "Well how was I supposed to know? You're the one with all the knowledge about all these places, not me."

"That's never stopped you before," the Doctor pointed out, grinning. "Anyways! Let's get this rug out of here so we can get going! Jess, this is yours, put it somewhere." He picked up the rolled rug and gave it to her.

Jess snorted and took the rug. "Alright, alright, gimme a minute," she said, taking the rug easily and heading back to her shared room.

"Right! Now, you should probably hold onto something," the Doctor said once Jess took the rug. "I'm going to see about setting the course for the treehouse planet."

Jack moved to hold on to one of the many available spots and motioned for Marie to join him. Jess just hurried so she wouldn't end up on her butt.

Marie scurried over to where Jack was, grabbing onto the wall.

As soon as everyone was holding onto something, the Doctor grinned and threw the lever for the Tardis. The ship immediately lurched, and the Doctor scrambled around the console as he worked the controls.

Jack kept himself and Marie from actually falling during the flight, and then he grinned.

"That wasn't so bad this time," he said, righting himself against the wall. "I think you might be getting better, Doctor."

"It was just fine," the Doctor said once the Tardis stopped moving.

"Is it over?" Marie asked as she cautiously regained her footing.

"Yup, we've arrived somewhere," Jack said cheerfully. "No guarantees about the planet or time, that can get a bit muddled sometimes."

"Oi, quiet you," the Doctor said to Jack, a bit half-heartedly. He flipped a couple of switches and twisted a knob on the control panels and then moved away from the console. "Let's go see what's out there, shall we?"

Jack grinned and motioned for him to go first.

Jess snorted at both of them and headed for the door, intrigued.

The TARDIS had ended up landing on a narrow stretch of beach. A truly awe-inspiring forest loomed behind them, and an equally majestic ocean stretched before them. Just off in the distance, the silhouette of a city stood out against the ocean horizon. The sky was a rather rosy pink, reflecting magenta off of the ocean, and the forest seemed to be made of more russet-orange than anything else.

"Ah, here we are," the Doctor said as he poked his head out the door and looked around. "The planet Natabatis. Planet of the floating cities."

"And we're not jumping this time," Jack said as he followed the Doctor out, looking around with a grin. "Just like I remember. Only, less cheering natives."

Jess grinned at that, stepping out slowly and looking around. She blinked, trying to get used to the new color scheme.

Marie was the next to step out, squinting a bit as she looked around.

"I'm too used to a blue planet," she commented. "The red is a bit jarring."

"You get used to it," the Doctor replied. "Had to get used to a blue planet in the first place, yeah? Gallifrey was red."
