April gripped her fist.She couldnt exactly go all 'Blaze' on them in-front of Eric. They he would get freaked out ... lable her a freak ... just like everyone else ... well except for her family.She glanced behind them seeing a few more thugs.She frowned looking to the one closest to them."what do you want?",she asked coldly.

The man grinned to her."money ... a little alone time with a pritty girl",he said as a sick grin came to his face.

April growled."fat chance",she said in the calmest tone she could muster. Though her temper was starting to get to her.She counted ... there was only five of them. She could take them down.Even if it ment freaking Eric out,she could always find a new apartment. She took a deep breath.At the moment there was no other choice.She looked to Eric."sorry", she said softly moveing away from him with a small smile .She even may even half to leave Gotham for breaking this rule,she then looked to the man with the gun with cold eyes."big mistake",she said as her hands formed to green balls of light,and judging by the thugs expresion, it was something they wernt expecting.She quckly zapped the mans feet sending him and his gun flying back,when the other thugs freaked out and started to run she zapped at them as well letting them scramble around in panic."That'll teach them",she said going over and taking the mans gun ,crushing it like paper.Once the men were out of sight she looked to Eric ...and kept her distance."sorry ...again",she said softly,looking sad before she took off into the sky and flew off to the water tower where she sat on the railings,cursing herself.

"Hey you could wait for my reaction. Blaze." Erik called grinning. "You might find that you'll be more freaked out by me."

April froze.He called her Blaze.....she turned to him almost ready to blast his head off."h-how do you that name",she said with worrie

"Well maybe I know all the superhero names. Though I didn't know your human name till know I thought you where someone else." Erik shrugged. "I'm a nerd."

April starred."an ...wh-why would i be freaked out by that?",she said looking worried.

"It's just I know everything about the superhero's." Erik blushed a little "As much as I can know anyways."

"You dont think im some sort of freak?",April said relaxing some.

"Not at all." Erik smiled at her. "You are who you are."

April starred looking to him shocked."wow this is a first for me"

"Well I am worse." Erik chuckled then plunged in. "Look I really do like you so. I'm Jokers son." he waited for the beating.

April's eyes went from calm to deah to those around her in 0.01 seconds."what!",she said wanting to blast him."was this some kind of joke to you Ace!Hey lets see if i can trick the Alien freak super hero!",she said going over to him.

April stared Eric down."oh??? so all the endless girls i heard about that you would flirt with wasnt you jerking around girls feelings",she said almost growling ,anger still fuming

"Flirting is one thing going out on a date and paying for it is another. They all know I don't mean it plus it was just the one." Erik sighed.

April tried to calm down."and this ... it wasnt just you...wanting to mess with me?",she said softly.Stareing him in the eyes.

Erik started after her blushing softly.

Martha stared at there watching tv while her parents talked in the kitchen.

April came up to the window and grinned at Martha,knocking on it.

Martha opened it "You know you can come in like a normal person." she teased.

April grinned."yeah but i rather not bother alfred",she said opening the window and flopped beside her."what have you been up to all night?"
