"Crane's son." Erik opened her the window to her apartment.

April blinked and slowly entered."Why would he be watching?",she asked looking to him.

"Us." Erik said simple slipping inside after her. He closed and bolted the windows shut. ''I don't trust him and that's saying a lot."

April watched him lock her widow and smiled softly."i guess",she then sat on the couch."so ,you locking my window,thats not you,worring about me rigth?",she asked playfuly

"Of course I'm worried Nightmare is dangerous." Erik sighed. "And like I said I don't trust him."

"um",April blinked ,not expecting that he said yes."Well then why don't you stay?",she asked through a yawn.

"Do you want me to say." Erik blinked blushing softly and glanced at the couch. "I guess I can."

April stood."sure why not?",she said going to grab him a blanket and grinninrf setting it on the couch."and I didn't no bad guys blushed"

"We are human...well most of us are anyways." Erik chuckled.

April just smiled."night",she said and headed for her room

Erik settled on the couch starting to fall asleep.

April sighed softly closeing her door and grinned some before flopping onto her bed too tired to get changed.

As Eric started to fall asleep,his phone started to ring.

"This had better be good." Erik yawned into the phone.

A cold laugh came from the other end. "Come on Eric, I thought I'd just see how the plan was coming?",Nightmare asked."You seem to be having fun with the girl... hope your not planing on getting too attached"

"Of course not I just don't trust anyone to keep away from her." Erik sighed and sat up. "Everythings on track don't worry.'' He was lying of course.

"Just making sure".Nightmare said hanging up.

Erik let out the breath he had been holding "this is a problem." he grumbled.

A short while after April came out trying to be quite but blinked seeing Eric awake."oh,your still up too",she said giving him a sweet smile

"Yeah I was thinking." Erik smiled at her and moved so she could join him if she wanted to.

"about what?",April asked as she sat down

"Nightmare...he well." Erik explained his problem. "Know I'm stuck cause I like you."

April stared.She didn't know what to say or think. How did she know he really wasn't playing with her for his own sick sense of fun? Then again,most bad guys wouldn't tell about their plan. April sighed softly standing up. "so he want's to use this new gas of his on the good guys?",she said softly."heh, that's one way to cause chaos" ,she thought a moment."and he still thinks your going along with all this?",she asked crossing her arms."Mind you I'm not all convinced that you've suddenly changed your mind about it"

"Well I wouldn't do it to you." Erik confused with a smirk. "Yes he still thinks I'm going along it's safer for both of us that way."

April smirked back to him."in that case ... why don't we come up with a plan of our own",she asked raising an eye brow.

"That's sounds like good guy stuff." Erik smirking teasing a little.
