"April?" Erik called softly blinking at the darkness.

The bird landed on Erics sholder,then flinched as a small blast nearlt hi Eric in the head."S-sorry",she called out suddenly

"Jeez.'' Erik blinked then went to her. "Did I do something wrong?'' he asked with a frown.

April shook her head and looked down."No ...you didnt do anything",she said softly

"Good I would hate for you to be mad at me." Erik kissed her cheek gentle.

April moved away from looking slightly frightened."please dont...y-your not safe near me",she said shakeing a little."My powers are acting strange..."

Erik hugged her. 'I trust you." he whispered in her ear.

April was a bit shocked the shivering she stayed close and started crying into him."Gotham...its my fault"

"It's not your fault it's nightmare's his gas made you do it. You love the city to much to want to hurt it yourself." Erik hugged her tighter.

April stayed there."i could have hurt you....Martha got hurt saving me ......i have no doubt that others were hurt ....and now the police are hunting me down...and with my powers acting up...im scared I'll hurt somebody",she shivered."why aren't you scared of me?"

"Because you wont hurt me." Erik kissed her hands gentle. ''Besides Martha knew what she was doing...or so she likes to think." he chuckled a little.

Yuki starred at him softly."no one understnads why I love you.....but if they knew how great it was,that you don't fear what I am....",she then hugged him tightly again."when i was a kid, i was kicked out of school...because of my ... powers",she said softly."other kids,and people, looked at me like i was a monster...but you don't...its nice"

"Martha doesn't look at you that way either." Erik smiled. "I love you so much." he kissed her gentle. "But you have to turn yourself in."

April nodded.'i know she doesnt ...",she paused and looked to him."tu-turn myself in?",she asked softly."wh-what if they send me to Archem?

"They wouldn't Martha explained everything but you'll make it worse if you run." Erik ran a hand threw her hair.

April frowned but nodded."okay",she said softly and curled up into him."but tomorrow...",she said with a yawn.

"First thing." Erik leaned against the wall pulled her closer so she was comfortable.

April nodded in agreement and once she was close enough,she dozed off instantly ,clinging to him

Erik eventually fell asleep as well keep her close. He woke with a groan stiff and sore "Ow." he grimaced.

April snapped awake sitting up she saw the sun and looked down.""Can you call Martha and let her know",she asked soft;y

"I'll do that." Erik smiled then called Martha.

"yellow?" Martha answered half asleep. She woke and sat up when Erik told her what was going on "Alright." she sighed a little.

April stood and smiled to Eric kissing his cheek."thanks",she said softly and then sighing she started making her way to the police station feeling the fear come back as she walked into town , seeing people trying to pick up the peices .

Erik walked with her and held hand sighing a little. "I wish I had made this mess." he pouted a little.

April looked to him."I wish it didnt happen",she said stopping outside the police station,part of her wanting to flee.She took a deep breath and looked to him."yo should go,your on the wantde kist as it is..."

Erik kissed her gentle then vanished into the shadows sighing a little.
