"We do not and you know it. The villains are dangerous just ask Jeremiah Arkham driven crazy by his patients. He always allowed us access to bring the villains here that is what I was asking." Huntress shrugged she was her mothers daughter both blunt but vague all at the same time. "I really wish you reporters would get over your selves and leave the poor people to there peace instead of reporting lies and hate. Without us you know Gotham would be doomed." She knew the people of Gotham could hear her. "We will always be here to protect you even when you need us no more we will still keep an eye on things your safety is are only concern."

Martha blurted out everything. "I'll watch him a few more weeks then maybe you can come home."

"You could see the doctor and be safe maybe we can figure out why your powers are so different." Martha didn't say how she knew. "But if you don't want to stay there you could talk to Leslie." She bite her lip. "I'm worried about you."

"I miss you April. It's boring here without you...all I have is dad and brother and there both sticks in the mud plus Rose but she doesn't count because she's not my friend." Martha sighed. "Oh the life of a superhero." she relaxed on the roof. "Wonder what we would have been like as normal girls." she pondered. "Probably not much different." she chuckled. "I'm holding you up I can tell I'm just a little lonely maybe I'll go beat up the Penguin later to feel better."

April smiled softly."its fine, i miss you too....and what about Jason? why not just take a chance and just hang out at somepoint....nothing has to come of it.....",she said playing with a bread stick. "and i shouldn't have left just like that,but ,with a mob and the police hunting you down,and to add my powers acting the way they are, no one is safe.... I tried to keep Eric away and he scolded me...."

Martha laughed. "Good for him. Who's Jason know surely not the movie Jason? We don't need another psychotic person in the city."

"You know I thought you understood me. I guess you don't. I do not want to hang out with him if that's the only reason you'll come back then I'll have Erik drag you back." Martha never lost her temper with her friend but this Jason business was driving her crazy.

April grip the phone her hand sparking a bit."I was kidding",she grumbled into the phone.

"Oh...I'm sorry April it's just I'm tired if people telling me what will make me happy. Being Huntress makes me happy. The thought of hanging out with someone doesn't." She sounded like Bruce antisocial but fine with it.

Martha blinked and tucked her phone away fixed her costume. "I found a few." She handed them over. "You could go to crime alley follow the hurt people ask for help." She knew Leslie would give him advice and a ear full.
