Gemini laughed. "Wow, I walked into that one. Alright, you're on. I've just got to drop off Lucifer at home first. Don't want him getting into trouble again."

Bruce listened carefully, trying to remember everything. When she told him to try for himself, he did exactly what she had showed him...but somehow still ended up burning it. "How is this possible?!"

"It takes practice my love." Lori chuckled "Something you should know a lot about." she took his hand and helped him threw the moves smiling softly.

"That's fine I'll follow you...or would you rather me just stay right here?" Darien tilted his head to the side and smiled at her a little.

Bruce sighed. "I suppose you're right...it's just frustrating. Patience isn't my strongest virtue." He said.

"No, you can follow. I'm not letting you in, though." Gemini answered, though she didn't make it clear whether she was serious.

"Alright." Darien chuckled and followed after her hands in his pockets playing with the toys he kept with him at all times.

Lori chuckled "I'm surprised with all the stuff you see and do." she started making the bacon humming softly. "Do you think Rose Thorn might be yours?" she asked suddenly referring to Poison Ivy's daughter.

Bruce looked startled. "I don't think so. I have no memory of ever having...been with Ivy. I really hope I haven't." He answered, shuddering. Though if he had slept with Poison Ivy, then wouldn't he have died?

Gemini led him back to her apartment, and left him outside while she brought Lucifer back in. She had a one-sided argument with Lucifer about whether she should go, and in the end ran out and slammed the door. "I'll be fine, relax ya killjoy!" She yelled, before turning back to Darien. "It's not strange." She defended instantly, though he hadn't said anything. "Lots of people talk to their pets."

"That would be weird it's just her eyes are the same color blue as yours and I've always been curious and jealous." Lori's voice dripped with venom then blinked as Helena slipped threw the window "I said Talia." Jumping back when her mother growled. "Speaking of your conquest." Lori crossed her arms.

Bruce put his hands up in defense. "I was drugged with Talia. I never would have, otherwise." He swore.

"Well why is she in town know though?" Lori sighed then blinked as she heard her cat hissing. "What on earth?" she stepped outside and came face to face with Talia. "Talia." she greeted as Maleficent huffed and hurried inside. "Catwoman." Talia smiled a dark tension fell over them along with electricity.

Bruce shrugged. "I have no idea." He said, just as the cat hissed. He glanced over at Helena as the two women faced off. "Are they going to fight?" He asked worriedly.

"Of course it's not though I didn't exactly say anything." Darien chuckled a little. "I think it's cute." he smiled at her. "Shall we?" he offered his arm.

"Not sure though I have my money on my mom." Helena chuckled watching the two women stare each other down till Talia spotted Bruce and slipped over to him. "Hello lover." Talia smiled at him making Lori hiss at her.

Gemini shrugged. "I'm just used to defending myself. My friend thinks I'm strange." She said, forcing herself not to blush at the "cute" comment. She took his arm. "Anywhere in particular you like to go? Or is any old cafe fine?"

Bruce nodded in agreement, but didn't get a chance to say anything as Talia addressed him. "Oh, Lord...Talia, we've been over this. I am not your lover. I do not love you." He said slowly, as if talking to a child.

Talia chuckled "You will always be my lover though I did get Bane." she shrugged "I actually came to see Damien I figure you would know where he was and would be with your latest conquest." Lori bristled and glared wishing she had done something about Talia a long time ago.

"Shouldn't you, as his mother, know where Damien is at all times?" Bruce pointed out. He honestly didn't like it when Talia visited Damien. It was never a good experience. "Actually, Damien is currently in school. You can't visit him there, before you try to figure out which school it is." He said. He had decided a long time ago that Damien needed to be with other kids, so he had enrolled him in a private school.

Helena blinked then grinned "then I'm older then Damien. So mom got to dad first." Lori blushed a little at the way it sounded but it was true Helena was at least a year or two older then Damien. "Well I shall pull him from school and spend the day with him." Talia glowered at Helena "you should be careful child." She didn't say why but the threat was there. "I hope you see sense some day love all those women will never make you happy especially when they are you opposite." She flitered away.

Darken thought a moment "whatever café is fine. I think your strange but I think that about everyone so." He shrugged "they can't be good friends if they don't understand your ways by know."

Bruce sighed. "I can't stand that woman...It's a good thing I already gave instructions to the school to never release Damien to a woman claiming to be his mother." He said, shaking his head. "Lori, I'm sorry about her. Try not to take her seriously...she's insane."

Gemini shook her head. "No, she's my best friend, and she's used to me, she just likes to tease. Truth is, she's even weirder than I am." She shrugged, brushing the hair out of her face. "Anyway, I know a pretty good place just down the street. I don't go there very often, only for special occasions."

Lori was staring the at the ground. "Oh boy." Helena slipped away so they could take. "She's right you know if she hadn't gone into the Lazeris pit she would still be your basic match minus the killing part and even then with her father gone she wouldn't have killed that often." she looked sad.

"Well at least you two see eye to eye." Darien chuckled and nodded. "That's sounds fine." he followed her to the café and held the door open for her smiling.

Bruce stepped forward and took Lori's chin gently, raising it up so their eyes met. "That's not true, Lori. As Helena said, you were first, and I loved you then. I never loved Talia, and though I don't regret having Damien, I do regret ever being with her. I never loved Talia, but I always loved you. Talia and I were never an item, and we never will be, because I will always want you and only you. Do you understand what I'm saying, Lori?" He asked.

Gemini smiled, thanking him politely before walking in. It was a nice little cafe, small and cozy with very few people. "I love it here. Not many people come in, and the ones that do keep to themselves. It's the best place to go when I need some privacy or quiet time. And their apple pie is amazing." She said, leading him to a table near the window where she usually sat.

Lori blushed softly and smiled up at him. "I understand." she kissed him and hugged him tightly. "It's to bad it took us so long to be together, together." she sighed and leaned against him resting her head on his chest.

Darien sat down across from her and smiled. "It is cute." *I'll have to not blow it up* he added to himself. He examined the menu and ordered a small coffee and a apple pie. "Only because you made me think of having one." he chuckled.

Bruce smiled. "At least we can make sure that we're never apart again. I don't think you really understood what I was saying." He said, moving her away slightly. He knelt in front of her, reached into his pocket, and pulled out a small velvet box. Opening it revealed a beautiful diamond ring. "Lorinda Gale, I love you. Would you do me the honor of marrying me?"

Gemini smiled brightly. "You won't be disappointed." She said, after ordering a hot chocolate and a piece of apple pie. "So, tell me a little about yourself, stranger."

The yell of joy she made was heard around the world. "What was that?" Darken blinked.

"Oh yes Bruce." Lori was crying a little.

Gemini tilted her head, and smiled. "That," she said, "Was my best friend. She's happy about something."

Bruce slipped the ring onto her finger, then stood up and hugged her close. "I'm glad. I never want to be separated from you again."

"That was loud." Darien chuckled. "You want to know about me..." He had to be very careful. "I'm a little crazy." he shrugged.

Lori thought a moment. "Where did you get the ring?" she asked staring at I a delirious happy look on her face.

Gemini raised an eyebrow. "That tells me a lot. Everyone's a little crazy, you know. It makes things interesting. It's the sane people you have to worry about, they're so boring." She said.

"It belonged to my mother." Bruce replied. "It's been in the family for generations. I went to several jewelry stores, but none of the rings there felt right. Plus the fact that someone had stolen most of the jewelry in the first place."

Lori looked away "I don't know what you mean." She tried to look innocent then just chuckled. "You sure you want me to have your moms ring?" She glanced down at it blushing a little.

"There's not much to tell I had a crappy childhood, I hate bats, most animals hate me. I your basic vanilla guy." Darien chuckled

"I'm sure. As long as you promise to keep it and cherish it." Bruce said, kissing her hand.

"Vanilla, huh? Doesn't sound like it." Gemini shook her head. "Sorry, I probably sound really nosy. I worked in an asylum, so it got to be second nature for me to ask questions. I won't pry anymore, I promise." She said, raising her hand in a mock "scout's honor" salute.
