Gemini glanced at the hyenas. She didn't fully trust them yet, but she did think they were kind of cute. "They should get along fine. Lucifer won't bother them...he might follow you around, though. I'm not sure, but I think he's still trying to figure out if he can trust you." She said honestly. "I think he's slowly starting to. At least, he's improved...if you recall, he tried to kill you the first time you met him."

Bruce got out of the car, but stayed close to it just in case. If Ivy really was in there, he certainly didn't want to get her angry.

"Well I'll make he gets feed and keep my pets from annoying him to much." Joker smiled kissing her forehead softly then dolled out the pasta humming a circus tone under his breath.

Lori vanished into the underbrush greeting Ivy's pet human fly trap who nuzzled her arm. "Where is she?" she asked it not expecting an answer though the flowers looked sadder and he looked a little wilted. She spent hours searching every corner of the park till she found Ivy's bedroom staring at the dead flowers the fly trap chirped at her sadly and she knew. She stood there not sure she wanted to leave.

Gemini did her best to hide her blush. "You should be fine, then." She said. How was it a simple kiss could trip her up so easily?

After hours of waiting, Bruce decided it was time to go in and find Lori. With that amount of time gone, he was relatively sure Ivy wasn't there. So, he headed into the little forest to find his fiance.

"You alright?" Joker asked with a slight smirk digging into the pasta.

Lori sat on a stump that had served as Ivy's chair and cried letting the fly trap comfort her.

Gemini ate a bit before answering. "I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?"

Bruce found Lori after a good half hour, but stopped instantly. As much as he wanted to comfort her, he didn't want to be eaten by the fly trap. "Lori...?"

"You look hot and bothered." Joker grinned a little giving her forehead a feel. "You don't feel warm."

Lori looked up and pulled him to her the fly trap grumbled but let him stay as Lori drenched his shirt with her tears. "She's really gone one of my only friends. Gone." She blubbered.

Naturally, Gemini blushed harder. "I'm fine. Totally fine. Nothing wrong at all." She lied.

Bruce put his arms around her, not really sure what to say. "Lori...I'm so sorry. I wish I could help..."

Lori cried until there was nothing left. She leaned against his chest feeling like an empty husk. "She was going to one of my brides maid to balance out your side and because I trusted her like I would have a sister." She sniffled. "Know she's gone and her park will start wilting at Sylvester here will die." The fly trap chirped tilting its head.

Joker grinned more and leaned across the table clearly enjoying himself. "You sure?" He asked before kissing her.

Bruce sighed. "I...no, that won't happen." He said, remembering something. "Ivy had a daughter, right? We can find her daughter, and maybe she can take care of the forest and...Sylvester." He tried not to question the name.

It was now difficult to tell Gemini's face from her hair. "You...just..." She started, then cleared her throat and took a breath. "You really have way too much fun making me uncomfortable."

"It's fun seeing you get flustered." Joker chuckled. "You turn the cutest colors of pink and red." he kissed her hand gentle returning to his pasta with a smirk.

Lori nodded "Yeah the forest and Slvy will defiantly live with Bell watching him." she gave a water smile. "everything will be different know." she sighed. "Even our relationship will change."

Gemini pouted, though she wasn't really upset. "And then there's that. You make me all...meh...and then I can't even get mad because you're all charming about it." She sighed. "You're lucky I like it..."

Bruce pulled away slightly to look at her. 'What do you mean? Why will our relationship change?" He asked, puzzled.

"Ivy's the one who convinced me that you were worth waiting for that no matter what I was your one and only love. She's the whole reason I waited for you." Lori admitted with a soft sigh. "I also lost part of my heart and I don't know how I feel about anything right know."

"It's why I do it love because you love it so much." Joker chuckled and offered her a bite of his pasta an actual warm smile on his face though he didn't seem to notice it.

Saddened, Bruce nodded. He knew he had made her wait a long time, but he hadn't known that Ivy was the reason she did wait. "I understand. It's useless to say I'm sorry now, but I am..." He sighed. "And I know how what you mean, about not knowing how to feel. If you need to take some time for yourself, I won't complain. I'll wait for you, just like you waited for me."

Gemini noticed and smiled, but she didn't mention it. She knew if she brought attention to it, he'd probably wipe the smile off instantly and replace it with the usual grin. Instead, she just took the offered bite, smiling happily.

Lori blinked and smiled threw her tears hugging him tighter. "I love you so much Bruce at least that I know." she clung to him then looked up as a girl with white hair and green eyes appeared dressed like Ivy only with less cloths showing. "Rose." she hurried to the girl holding her tight. "We should bury her here." Lori sighed.

"Well I need a little more sleep so.' Joker opened a large safe filled with all sorts of things handing her money. "Buy what you need." he smiled "I need you to go to this shop and get the order...don't open it." he chuckled.

Bruce rubbed Lori's back. "I love you, too, Lori. More than words can say." He told her. When the girl appeared, he guessed who she was and stayed back a respectful distance. He didn't want to bother them.

Gemini rolled her eyes. "Consider it done." She said, not asking questions. Taking what she was given, she stood up and went to leave. "Lucifer, behave." She called before disappearing.

Joker watched her go. "Well boys I think I'm in love." he said out loud to the animals with a chuckle. "She's better the Harley that's for sure...and better looking." he smirked a little.

Lori nodded then blinked at the wrapped body that Rose's vine bore to them. The fly trap helped her and Lori dig the grave laying Ivy to rest in her home. "Do want to stay with me Rosey?" she asked hugging the girl again. "No Huntress is going to stay with me for a while." Rose smiled at her. "Alright hun." Lori stood "You know I'll be here for you no matter what." she stroked her hair then took Bruce's hand staring at the grave heart crushing a little more.

Lucifer tilted his head slightly, then barked. The bark sounded eerily like an agreement. Meanwhile, Gemini was off and headed to the grocery store. She had a lot to pick up.

Bruce stayed silent throughout the process, giving the women their grieving time. Once Lori took his hand again, he squeezed it gently, wordlessly expressing his sympathy.

Lori turned and walked away then looked at him. "Can we just go home and cuddle?" Her voice sounded sad and empty.

Joker decided to try to make friend with Lucifer playing fetch with him while his hyenas watched amused.

Bruce nodded, following her out. "Of course." He said, feeling slightly worried for her.

Being just a pup, Lucifer decided that it would be fun to run after the stick, but not bring it back, even making a game of keeping it away from Joker. The half-wolf seemed to think this was funny.

"Very well if you don't wish to bring it to me." Joker turned to his pets who cackled happily when he petted there heads sighing a little.

Lori was silent for the ride back deep in thought. She glanced at him a few times but just sighed staying quiet.

Lucifer's tail drooped and he whined pathetically. He had wanted to play keep away. Dropping the stick, he crept up behind the mean human and grabbed his pant leg, pulling on it playfully. Maybe they could play tug-of-war!

Bruce glanced at Lori several times on the way back, worried about her. A couple times, he saw her looking back at him, but neither of them said anything. They made it back to his place in silence.

"Oh no you didn't want to listen when I told you to let it go." Joker gave him a look that said to let go. "Let go." he warned.

Lori got out and went towards the door. She suddenly took off running down the driveway slipping out of view down the hill she was headed for Gemini in desperate need of her advice she had forgotten about Bruce.

Lucifer growled, with a look that clearly said "you're not the boss of me," and pulled harder, like he was trying to knock him over. Then, anticipating a hit or kick, he let go and jumped away. Then he dashed forward, jumped away, and repeated the process, enjoying messing with the man.

Bruce got out of the car, and was about to approach Lori when she dashed away. "Lori! Lori, wait!" He called, but she kept going. Sighing, he stood and watched her disappear. He somehow felt like she just needed to get away, and decided to leave her be for a while. If she didn't contact him later, he would go find her.

Gemini had finished at the grocery store and picked up whatever it was Joker had asked her to get. True to her word, she didn't look at it. Now, she was at her apartment to pick up some cleaning supplies.

Something slammed into her as it flew threw the door the thing clung to her and started crying.

Joker growled losing his patients. "I am the boss of you when I am watching you.'' the hyena's walked around him cackling ready for his orders thinking they would get to "play" with the dog. "go sit in the corner you bad dog know."
