Catwoman started and growled a little "you trying to kill me?" She pressed a hand to her chest. "Honestly." She grinned and help up the bag "you want it?" She dodged a bat letting is slam into Batman. "Come get me." She pulled her whip free and set to work beating the bats as Joker watching laughing his hyena's cackling as they went after Batman.

Batman sighed. He would have to deal with getting the stone back later. In the meantime, he started taking out bats, as well as dodging hyenas. At one point, he jumped in front of a bat that was headed for Lori, taking it out efficiently. "You need to watch your back, kitty."

"That's what your here for." Catwoman whispered back grinning then shoved them both out of the way as Joker attacked them next she let Batman deal with the bat she fought Joker keeping the bag out of his reach.

((Is this going anywhere, cause Wolfie's getting a bit bored.))

Catwoman left Joker beat up for Batman and slipped away with the stone taking it home she broke the outside off revealing a small crystal that sparkled like a rainbow in the right light. With a grin she slipped it in a box and settled in for bed.

Gemini was up bright and early the next morning, excited to go out and find a pet. "I wonder if I'll get a cat or a dog? Cats are nice, but I have Lori to deal with...maybe a dog." She muttered to herself, stepping out the door of her apartment.

Bruce was also up early, as he had something special planned for that day. "Alfred, I'm going out for the day." He told his old friend as he left.

Lori sat making a special present for her number one guy and grinned at the watch with the crystal on it. What better place for a dangerous gem then on the greatest fighters wrist? She felt proud of her self as she got dressed planning to go to his place.

Damien the alter ego of Joker walked threw the town and looked around grimacing. "I hate this place sometimes. I bet I could destroy this place if Batbrain wasn't around" he mumbled to himself.

Bruce got to Lori's place just before she left, and knocked on the door. I wonder what she did with that stone? Knowing her, probably something dangerous...

Gemini walked down the street to a pet shop she used to pass on the way to work. Thinking of work, she frowned, looking down at her shoes. "What kind of job just replaces a person while they're hurt? Bunch of jerks...It was such a good job, too-oof!" She stumbled backwards, only just catching herself after she bumped into someone. "Jeez, what the..."

Lori opened the door and hugged him "I got you something." she held out the watch. "Tahdah." she grinned "Do you like the gem?" knowing him he knew what the gem was.

"watch it." Damian snarled and glared at her. "Are you blind?" he huffed already irritated.

Bruce looked down at the watch, and sighed. "Lorinda...I appreciate the thought, but you know that I can't accept this." He said regretfully. He really did want to accept the watch, but how could he, when the stone was stolen?

Gemini sneered. "Dude, relax, it's not like you're hurt. Anyway, you obviously weren't watching where you were going, either, or you would have avoided me." She said, brushing herself off. "Or are you the kind of person who'd do that on purpose, just for a chance to touch a girl?"

"You know what this could do in the wrong hands Bruce. It's safer with you." Lori looked nervous. "If I can break into the police station everyone can." she pouted. "Joker can't get to it...I'll give you a kiss if you take it." she sweetened the deal.

"Why would I want to touch you?" Damian snorted and growled "Your so short a ant wouldn't notice you." he was just being mean know grinning at her. "See you shorty." he laughed and walked off.

Bruce tried not to flinch. How was it that a kiss really made him want to? She was right, though, that it was safer with him. "Oh...fine. But only so that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands." He said, not looking her in the eye. "Now, I came over because I wanted to bring you somewhere. Are you ready to go?"

Gemini spat after the man. "Bastard. I've met super villains nicer than that. Hell, I worked with mental patients who had better personalities." She grumbled, just loud enough for the retreating for to hear, before turning on her heel. Right, pet store. Over here. She thought, heading into the pet shop.

Lori grinned and kissed him soundly before she took his arm. "I'm always ready." she squeezed his arm tightly "Alfred driving?" she pulled him towards the car blinking at his lambergine. "Can I drive?" she gave him puppy eyes.

Damian slipped into his makeup and broke into the bank hard for someone all alone but it was fun. As he walked down the street he saw the girl again examining puppies and headed inside. "All the money in the draw." he grinned holding up his pop gun.

Bruce deadpanned. "I'm driving." He said, but smiled a bit to soften it. "We're going somewhere that's a surprise, so you can't drive there. But I'll let you drive back." He told her, already regretting that last part.

Gemini looked up at a familiar voice, and scowled. "Aw, man, really? In the same pet store I'm in? Why does my day have to suck? Ugh...listen, get out of here before I kick you so hard you become a woman." She said, crossing her arms. She really wasn't in the mood to deal with him, especially since he just happened to be the last person she remembered seeing at Arkham before she was attacked.

"I got the money." Joker laughed and headed out. "You should be glad I saved you in Arkham. I could have killed you." He headed out chuckling as he walked down the street humming.

Lori settled into the passenger seat laughing. "My driving isn't that bad...unless I'm running from you,upset,or angry." She shrugged. "Have a little faith in me would you?"

Gemini growled, sounding a lot like an angry dog. She had really hoped he didn't remember her. "Bastards, everywhere! Why is it that every guy I meet is an asshole?!" She asked, though the shop owner obviously wasn't going to answer. Sighing, she went to leave the shop, calling the whole thing a bust, when a tiny bark stopped her. Blinking, she looked over to see what looked like a silver wolf puppy. "Hey...how much for this one?" She asked the clerk. He looked at her like she was nuts. "That's a wolf hound. You know, half husky, half wolf." He informed her. Gemini nodded. "Yeah, I know. How much?"

Bruce shrugged. "Okay, I'll give you a chance. But later." He said, giving her a teasing glance. "Buckle up. We'll be there in just a few minutes."

Lori stuck her tongue out at him and settled in buckling her seatbelt curious to know where they were going. "Are we there yet?" she grinned at him.

Joker wondered the streets still not satisfied. He finally settled for killing people in the most eventful way he could think of. His laughing gas.

Bruce rolled his eyes. "I'll let you know." He said, starting up the car and heading out. About halfway there, his communicator went off, and he sighed. "I don't suppose you'll let me respond to that, will you?"

Eventually, Gemini left the pet store with the puppy and a bunch of puppy supplies. She tried walking home the way she came, but people were running away from that way, and she realized what was going on. "Great. Well, puppy, we either risk the walk, or find another way home. Personally, I'd like to risk it just to find the bastard and kick his ass." She said. The puppy yipped in response, which she took as agreement, and started forward. Damn clown's gonna get it this time. He better hope Batman gets to him before I do.

"You can respond love I know how it goes with you but you have to promise to come to my place when your done...and let me borrow the car." Lori grinned at him picking it up "Joker." she sighed holding it up to his ear so he could drive.

Joker chuckled as he walked away heading into the city. He felt a whole lot better and glanced up rolling his eyes when he saw the bat sign.
