Joker smirked. "I'm thinking something naughty."

Lori watched Bruce tuck Martha in. "So what do you think of this child raising stuff."

Gemini rolled her eyes. "Of course you are." She said. She was about to say something else when the twins' door opened, and Cal toddled out on his own. "OH MY GOD! Calcifer, how did you get out of your crib?! You're walking! Where's your sister?" That question was answered a moment later when April crawled out after Cal. Cal fell on his bum, but looked very pleased. "Let me guess." Gemini said. "April figured out how to escape the crib, broke you both out, and Cal decided to walk out of the room." The twins' laughter seemed to confirm her theory.

Bruce smiled. "I love it." He said. "Every exhausting, frustrating, hair-pulling, wonderful minute of it."

"Good." Lori kissed him gentle.

Joker blinked. "Well done!" He kissed both of them. "My little trouble makers. Know listen to your mother and take your nap."

After their kiss, Bruce took Lori's arm. "What do you say we get something to eat?" He asked.

Both twins pouted at the idea of going to sleep, but they didn't fuss when Gemini put them back in their cribs. "Be good you two. After your nap you can have dinner, and then maybe something special."

"Food sounds good." Lori squeezed his arm and lead the way to the kitchen.

Joker helped her this time humming as he fixed the crib.

Bruce followed quietly, suddenly unable to think of anything but food.

Once the twins were secured, Gemini lead the way out of the room and closed the door firmly. "Those two..." She shook her head. "I think they've inherited the best of both of us. Or the worst, depending on who you ask."

"The best for sure." Joker kissed her. "Know let's eat."

Lori made chicken and waffles.

Gemini nodded. "Sounds great." She said.

Bruce raised an eyebrow. "Couldn't decide between breakfast and dinner?"

"I'm hungry." Lori blushed and placed the food on the table.

Joker sat down and started to eat.

Bruce chuckled. "Fine with me." He said, taking some of everything to put on his plate.

Gemini sat down to eat as well. "I still haven't bragged to Lori about you yet." She mused.

Lori dug in sighing happily. "I'm the best cook."

"What's there to brag about?" Joker frowned and raised his eyebrow.

"yes you are." Bruce agreed, digging in.

"The fact that you can cook and Bruce can't" Gemini said.

Joker blinked then burst into laughter.

Lori blushed a little. "Thanks."

"What?" Gemini asked, totally confused.

"Well, it's true." Bruce said with a smile.

"The fact that, that is the only thing you want to brag about." Joker grinned.

Lori shuffled her feet and smiled at him. "You need to shave you know."

Gemini blushed brightly. "Well, it's something of a big deal with Lori and I. And, we don't talk about...other things...that I might brag about..." She said, turning more red with each word.

Bruce's hand went to his face, where he felt the stubble growing. "Yeah, you're right. I'll shave after we eat." He said.

"I thought Lori would be all over that subject." Joker grinned.

Lori traced a hand over his cheek. "I think it's sexy." She kissed him.

"Not as much as you'd think. I mean, we talk, but whenever I make any comment about that subject, she gets all flustered...and then she hits me." She said. "Then again, I'm usually teasing her when that happens."

"Hmm..." Bruce hummed happily as he kissed Lori back. Once they stopped, he smiled at her. "Then maybe I'll leave it." He said.

Joker grinned. "Well I could help her get revenge on you."

Lori thought a moment. "I don't know a mustash might be alright but a beard no."

Gemini blinked. "Now why would you go and do a thing like that," She started, a smirk forming on her face, "When I can so easily withhold sex?"

Bruce shrugged. "Okay, then I'll shave it." He said. He didn't really care either way, as long as Lori was happy.

Joker pouted then sighed. "Your no fun."

Lori blinked. "If that's what you want." She traced his jaw line before going back to her waffles.

"Oh, really? That's not what you said last night." Gemini said with a sly smirk.

Bruce chuckled. "I'm just trying to make you happy, my love." He said, reaching over to brush a strand of hair out of her face.

Joker raised his eyebrow. "Oh I know but your still no fun." He sighed dramatically.

Lori swallowed and grinned. "Being with you makes me happy." As she leaned in to kiss him Martha started crying from the other room. "Well played child." She laughed freezing when Ace started to bark. "Martha!" She rushed to her scooping her into her arms while Ace growled at the window.

"So you've been lying to me in bed? How mean." Gemini said dramatically.

Bruce was up and in the room just as fast, placing himself between Lori and the window. "What is it, Ace?"

"I never lie about sex stuff." Joker chuckled. "It's the one thing you know is the truth."

Ace just growled as Martha buried her head in her mothers hair. A flash of lightening revealed a form standing a few feet away from the window watching them.
