"About time," Cal muttered. He turned and gestured for her to follow him.

Maggie followed him quietly, keeping up easily.

"You have any kind of plan yet?"

"Find it, kill it, and come back quickly," Cal replied. He'd had enough of this shit for a while, and he really didn't want to deal with it while Niko was still behaving weirdly.

Maggie snorted quietly. "Easy to remember and right to the point. Cute." She didn't, however, contradict him or suggest anything else.

"Practical," Cal corrected, rolling his eyes a bit.

Elsewhere, Dani was getting ready to perform at work, and at the same time Niko was slowly hobbling around his and Cal's apartment, looking for a particular book. He did still have a lesson plan to put together for the class he taught.
