"No, I don't. They haven't done anything wrong. I just..." Lily sighed and moved over to him, thunking her head gently against his shoulder. "I don't know what I'm doing here."
Lucivar put his arm around her.
"You can send them away for a few days," he pointed out. "Get your head on right again. It's not like they both don't have anywhere else to go." |
"Yeah, I know..." Lily sighed. "I dunno. Maybe I should, for a day or two. Just to figure stuff out."
"There's nothing wrong with doing that," Lucivar said. He smirked. "I could take them on a camping trip, if you want."
"That depends, is this going to be a real camping trip, or a testing them to see if they survive camping trip?" Because those were both options, with Lucivar.
"I doubt either of them need the testing," Lucivar said. "I doubt they're on the level of a hunting camp, but their backgrounds say they can survive well enough. I'll just get them out of the house for a weekend or so, that's all."
"As long as you bring them back in as many pieces as they started in," Lily said with a little grin. "That's acceptable."
"Done," Lucivar said with a smirk. "I'll leave Dejaal and Graysfang to look after you while we're gone."
"Like you could pry them away from me," Lily said with a snort. "Especially if you'll be gone."
"Let me at least pretend I'm in charge," Lucivar said dryly.
Lily smiled and leaned up, kissing his cheek. "Of course you're in charge," she assured him. "You should know by now."
"You say that," Lucivar said. "I have yet to see proof that it's actually true."
Lily just grinned at him. "Well, proof is a bit harder," she said evasively. "At least Clint and Robin still listen to you."
"We'll see how far that goes," Lucivar said. He kissed her forehead. "You go relax. I'm going to go round them up for camping."
"In the morning," Lily said, not letting go of him yet. "It's late, they'll need time to get ready, you can go in the morning."
"As my lady commands," Lucivar replied. He just held her, letting her relax.
Lily chuckled quietly at that but didn't protest, instead cuddling into him. Now she was comfy and didn't want to move.
Lucivar just steered her back over to her bed and settled down there with her. This was typical; she was very much a cuddler, and he didn't mind letting her snuggle like that.
Lily let go of him early the next morning, going to go shower and give him some time to wrestle the other two males.
Lucivar took the opportunity to get the other two out of bed.
"Come on, both of you," he said. "Pack a bag. The lady wants the house to herself to the weekend, so we're all going camping." |
Clint groaned at him, blinking. "What the hell?" he asked. "It's not even eight yet." Because yeah, he liked to sleep in sometimes.
"Lily wants us out for the weekend," Lucivar said. "Up. Pack. We're going camping. I'm giving you half an hour."
Clint groaned at him again but started getting up. Fortunately he knew how to pack for camping, so he'd be good.
But he greatly looked forward to Robin roughing it. |
Lucivar was already going to wake Robin.
"Time to wake up," he said. "Lily wants us out for the weekend, so we're going to oblige her and go camping." |
"Camping?" Robin asked, raising an eyebrow. "Why are we going camping? Why would you want to go camping?"
