"Well that's good to hear," Amaya said, though wondered how much longer it would be until she felt back to her normal self. She hated seeing her girlfriend like this.

(I played the Beta/pre-release. Enjoyable so far, can't wait to buy it on steam. But enough of that, I've returned~)

"The amount used must of been small. Whoever it was didn't want to hurt humans, at least.... that's what I can gather." Raven took a deep breath as a wave of pain shot through her stomach.

"Doubtful. Unless you can speed recovery."

"They aren't flawless however, No matter your intelligence level the area of fault is always there." Raven finally felt the pain vanish for now.

"But they could help quicken the process," Amaya argued.

"Possibly... but I'm not willing to be a test subject."

"And that is all well in good, but don't go doing stuff behind my back just to help, okay?"

"Then I'd have to kill you." She said simply, trying to make light of it.

"I'd take you with me..." Raven said before laughing weakly.

Amaya laughed lightly as well. She was glad to see that Raven wasn't coughing as much anymore and hoped that meant the poison would soon be leaving her body.

"I hope my recovery goes by quickly. I cannot stand to be held down like this." Raven clenched her cloak tightly.

"You and me both love," Amaya stated. She hated seeing her partner like this.

"Hey, I'm not going anywhere any time soon... Have you gotten that test done yet?" Raven asked, looking up at her partner.

"I don't think so...I've been more worried about you," Amaya admitted.

"I'll be alright, I promise. Besides, I have there two watching over me."

Amaya thought about it for a few seconds before laughing lightly at that. "I suppose you're right," she said before getting up, stretching lightly. Once that was done, she headed towards the infirmary. After everything that was going on right now, then it was the least that she could do: for both herself and for Ruby Rose.

"You know we mean well, right? We don't want you upset for trying to help." Amy spoke up after Amaya had left the room.

'I know, I know. It's just hard... I've never relied on people, and I have my concerns with it. I trust you all. We are a team after all." She let out a sigh and made herself as comfortable as possible. "And with the problems that have come before us, I'm even more terrified."

"Terrified about what?" June asked. "About that lion bastard that's after you?" He asked.

Amaya reached the infirmary after a few seconds. Standing in front of the door for a few seconds, she gulped lightly before opening the door and heading through. "Hello?" she asked.

Pretty much." Raven nodded.

"yes, What can we do for you?" One of the nurses spoke up as she approached Amaya.

"I would like to request a blood test, if that is possible?" Amaya asked unsure if that was doable.

"Then once Amaya gets back, we should talk to the others. And bring everyone up to speed if we haven't done so already," Juniper commented. He knew that Raven and Blake wouldn't like that one bit, but it had to be done.
