"I figured it would be fun. I was thinking of heading into town anyways, and I know our two 'love birds'..." She said their joke nickname. "... love to head to bed around this time. So I thought it would be nice for some one on one time just hitting up the town." Raven smiled, jumping to a standing position. "Besides, Ever since we became a team, the four of us have almost always been around each other."

"You raise a very good point. It's been quite a while since it's been just us two together," Amaya admitted, silently wondering when would be the best time to tell Raven that she heard what the two 'love birds' said and about her feelings towards her partner and their leader.

"Come on, We've got the whole night to kill." Raven smiled before starting off, heading towards Vale. She wasn't sure what they were going to do, but she was certain they'd find something.

"We do have the whole night to kill," Amaya replied with a grin of her own. Following Raven as she headed into Vale with her leader. "Any plans?" she asked.

"Well, Because it's Friday, a lot of the shops are open late. We could do some window shopping, possibly hit the dust store to see if they got a new shipment in... Eat... anything."

"Eat anything, hm?" She teased Raven with the play of words

"Oh shush." Raven blushed, "You know what I damn well meant."

Amaya laughed. "I couldn't resist wolf, you walked right into that one" she replied. "But seriously...window shopping sounds like a good idea"

"Speaking of which, Have you thought about what you are wearing to the dances this year?" Raven asked, knowing that was still a bit of a way off, but figured it would a nice conversation. Raven didn't go last year because of a request from 'Doctor' Oobleck.

"I've thought of a few dresses, but I don't have the funds yet to buy any of them" She admitted. "The doc isn't going to make you sit this one out, will he?" she asked, remembering what happened last year. She had rented a crimson dress last year but sadly couldn't keep it.

"He actually was bummed to of missed it. I heard that the other professors were there. He said he was going to change his plans to avoid missing out. That was a surprise coming from him." Raven laughed, "Well, Hopefully we get another job or something to do to earn some money."

"I bet. I was there, but I didn't have all that much fun," Amaya admitted. In fact, she had taken up residence near the wall and talked to the headmaster throughout the night. "Though I wish we did have enough money..." she said as she longingly looked at a crimson dress that had a slit up one side of the dress so that it would allow movement.

"Well, if I get any, I'll help. I've already got something. I wanted to wear it last year, but this year, I will definitely be able to." Raven said with a sheepish grin.

"Oh?" Amaya asked curiously as she took her gaze off from the dress.

"I'll show you then. I will say, It's the same color as the one you are eying."

"You saw that?" Amaya asked.

"It may be a little dark, but I am a Faunus." Raven laughed softly, "That is a cute dress, I must say."

"Do you think I would look good in it?" Amaya asked softly, hoping that she could use this to tell Raven about what she overheard while using her semblance.

"Without a doubt. The design would fit your body well, and the color would just make it better." Raven smiled, even if there wasn't those feelings, that would of been her answer. Besides her arrangement of black and grey cloths, she loved the color red, as it matched her eyes and it was just a good color to her.

"You really think that?"Amaya asked with a light blush. 'It's now or never...' she thought to herself. "Um...Raven, I have something to tell you," she said as her blush grew deeper.

"Hmmm, What is it?" Raven asked, not thinking that now would of been the moment they'd talk of this. She didn't realize it, but she was in for a surprise as they stood before the dress shop.

"I wasn't completely honest when I said I didn't hear most of your conversation with the 'love birds'. You...really were interested in me?" Amaya asked, completely curious and completely honest.

Raven tensed from embarrassment, "Y-you seriously heard me admit that?" She said with a furious blush upon her face. She couldn't believe it, having thought she was lucky and Amaya hadn't heard her confession. She felt like she was burning up, looking away. "Y... Yeah, That wasn't a lie..."

"I did. Do you...still think I'm interesting?" She asked, blushing up a storm.

"That was said as i felt that moment, not how I felt before. Of course I do."
