"I won't keep you two then. I should get inside myself. I'll see you both at school tomorrow. If you both are up early enough, You may find me at the flood plains practicing." Kira said smiling. She was just going to try and not thing of what all transpired today and attempt to enjoy her night.

"Alright, we'll see you there." Riley smiles as he waved.
"What do you mean we? I don't want to get up that early!" Fiyero exclaimed, giving his brother a pleading look.
"I'll drag you out of bed again." Riley said with a playful smirk.
With a pout Fiyero waved to the girl, "I'll see you in the morning too."
Riley laughed, leading the way back to their home as he and Fiyero waved good bye to the girl.

The next morning the boys sat at the table of the boarding house, eating their breakfast as their aunt hovered over them.
"Are you sure your going to be okay today boys?" Milly asked with a concerned look.
"We'll be fine, we're always together so we shouldn't have any problems." Riley replied as Fiyero yawned.
"I want you two to text me as soon as you get to school!" Milly said sternly.
The boys agreed and quickly finished their breakfast before they made their way to the flood plains.

Kira wasn't lying when she said she'd be at the Flood Plains. Her wooden practice sword was in hand as she balanced upon one of the stumps that rested by the river. One foot on the stump with the other balanced out in front of her hovering. She had a rock rested on her shoe, her eyes closed as she focused on the task at hand. As a few of the student passed by that were going to school early, they looked at Kira rather confused by the sight. It wasn't something they'd ever seen before, but she wasn't going to pay them any mind. She had wondered when Fiyero and Riley were going to wake up, having been up well before sunrise, not realizing they were approaching the Samegawa Flood Plain.

"I wonder if anyone knows what happened yesterday." Fiyero wondered aloud as he and Riley made their way down the dusty path.
"Who knows," Riley replied with a shrug, "If they have the whole school will be talking about it today."
"Yea, that's true." Fiyero replied as he looked over the Flood Plains, "Hey, isn't that Kira there?"
Riley glanced over, smiling when he saw the girl, "Yea, that is. Let's go meet her."
The brown haired boy lead the way over to the girl, wondering how to greet her. She looked like she was in deep though, so he wasn't entirely sure what to say.
"Morning Kira." Fiyero said quietly, unaware of his brothers hesitations.

Kira opened her eyes and looked over at the two. "You two really did wake up early." She smiled, letting the rock fall to the ground and moving off the stump. She stretched, having not moved for a bit. "I hope your morning is going good so far." She walked over, resting her practice sword on her shoulder.

"Told ya we would." Riley said, returning the smile.
"It would have gone better if someone didn't drag me out of bed again." Fiyero muttered, looking away from his brother.
"Hey, I put a pillow down so you wouldn't hit your head this time." Riley replied, nudging him playfully.
Fiyero rolled his eyes and he moved his lips in a mimicking way, still not happy about his wake up call. Riley snickered as he turned his attention back to the girl.
"Anyways, why'd you have a rock on your foot?" He asked curiously.
"Yea," Fiyero added, "is it to help you focus or something?"

"Balance training. With the stumps being just a little bigger then I'd like, I figured putting the rock on my foot would force me to focus a little better. It was working better then expected." She laughed, "I had to take today easy, I don't need to smell like I just ran five miles before school." Shaking her head, Kira walked over and put the sword into the bag. After she closed it, she threw it over her shoulder and grabbed her book-bag with her free hand. "Oh... Please tell me we have a different teacher today... I don't want to deal with him again."

"Who, King Moron? I think we have a different teacher introduction today." Ayane said from behind the boys. As normal, she was good at sneaking up on people.

"You're really serious about this training stuff huh?" Fiyero asked before Ayane startled him and Riley.

"Geez Ayane, you scared me!" Riley sighed, placing his hand over his heart.
"I swear your a ninja!" Fiyero added, adjusting his bag on his shoulder.
"I hope your right about that though." Riley said before looking from Ayane to Kira, "By the way, I don't think you two met yesterday. Not officially anyways. Kira, this is Ayane. Ayane, this is Kira."
Riley smiled from one girl to the other, hoping that they both would get along with one another.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. Kira Narukami" Kira said as the two girls shook hands.

"Likewise. Ayane Kinpachi. Sorry I didn't get to introduce myself to you yesterday."

"It's okay. Nothing to fret about." Kira looked at Fiyero. "To answer your question... I guess I am. It helped me cope while my parents were always gone. They were always gone on business trips, so I had a lot of free time. Believe me however, I'm not as bad as I use to me."

"Sorry your parents are always gone." Fiyero said awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"'Not as bad as you used to be'?" Riley questioned as he watched some of the students pass by, "Do you mean you used to train harder than this?"

As a small group of girls walked passed Fiyero over heard one of them mention The Midnight Channel and he shuddered a bit, catching his brothers attention.
"What's wrong?" Riley asked.
"They're just talking about that Midnight Channel thing again." Fiyero replied, "It's so friggen creepy!"
"Oh come on Fi," Riley sighed, "I told you it's just an urban legend. It's not real."
"I know, but what if it was?" Fiyero asked as he shuddered again.

"Midnight Channel?" Kira gave a confused look, "What's that? Doesn't sound like it's anything good."

Ayane smiled, "Oh, It's an urban legend around here. If you turn off your TV on a rainy night and watch it at Midnight, You'll see your soul mate. I've actually wanted to try it out sometime. Just for laughs."

"I've heard a lot of rumors... but that is by far the craziest I've ever heard." Kira admitted.

"Hey! It's suppose to rain tonight. Why don't we all try it." Ayane looked between the three.

Kira rubbed the back of her neck, "Well, I've done crazier urban legends to prove them false, might as well give this one a try. We can look at it tomorrow and laugh." She smiled, looking at the two boys to see if they were in.

"Are you crazy?" Fiyero asked, his voice raising an octave.
"Oh calm down," Riley said, "It's not even real,"
"But what if it is?!" Fiyero exclaimed, "God it's so creepy just thinking about how they could get in and record you! I mean, what if the people that set up the cameras decided to kidnap you?"
"It'll be fine Fiyero." Riley said, "We'll definitely do it tonight! Though we all should get going before we're late for school."
Riley laughed as he started leading the way. Fiyero frowned as he looked at the two girls, "Are you guys sure about this?"

"Come on, If it's true, You might see your soul mate." Kira laughed softly. "What if it's me? Don't like that thought?" She shot out a tease

Ayane laughed at that, "You are open aren't you?"

Kira smiled. "When you are considered 'one of the guys' among the Kendo Club, You tend to goof around and be open with many things."

Fiyero's whole face went red as Riley burst into laughter.
"B-but," He stuttered, "i-if that were the case then I'd be worried who put camera's in your house!"
"She's joking dude." Riley snickered.
"I-I know that, but..." Fiyero pouted at the other teens, "You guys never take me seriously."
"Okay, okay, tell ya what." Riley said with a grin, "We'll watch it tonight, all of us, and whoever we see we'll warn them they're being stalked and they have camera's in their house. Kay?"
Fiyero just continued to pout in his brothers direction.
"Ladies, back me up here?" Riley snickered as he turned his attention back to the girls.

"If something happens, That sounds like a plan. We'll let whoever it is know." Kira nodded, "Maybe we'll see a ghost instead." She wanted to see how someone would react to that, remembering she had fun with some people back in the city with ghost stories.

"Hey, I love ghost stories." Ayane perked up.

"Ghosts?!" Fiyero stopped in his tracks as he turned to the others with a worried look.
"She's teasing you big baby!" Riley said, quickly placing himself behind his brother and making him continue to walk forward.
"B-but ghosts are real!" Fiyero protested, "You really shouldn't mess with them!"
Riley sighed, starting to feel annoyed with the other boy, "We aren't going to 'mess with them' just watch them. If they even are ghost."
Fiyero frowned a bit as they came to the school gate, "I dunno guys..."

"Hey, After school are you two still up for showing me around town?" Kira asked the boys as she moved and walked backwards for a few steps. She was excited about that idea, wanting to finally get to see the town when she wasn't rushed through or anything.

"Yea definitely!" Riley turned to her with a smile.
Fiyero nodded, grateful for the topic change, "Are you going to come with us Ayane?"
"Yea, we can all hang out at Junes. And Ayane could tell ya any shops that girls are more into, since she's a girl too and all." Riley said with a smile.

"You do realize I work at with a blacksmith right?" Ayane shook her head, "On lunch, I'll call and see if I'm needed today." Ayane smiled.

"Wait... You work with a blacksmith?" Kira parroted Ayane with a question, rather shocked to hear that.

"I don't anything dangerous or any heavy lifting... but help test out the swords that are made as well as do anything that asked of me. It's hard, but I kind of enjoy it."

"Oh yea, I kinda forgot that." Fiyero replied sheepishly to Ayane.
"Don't worry, I forgot that too." Riley laughed.

The first bell chimed as the teens reached the school doors.
"Hey, looks like we got here just in time!" Fiyero beamed.
Riley nodded, "We still better hurry though."

"Try not to fall asleep Fiyero." Ayane laughed softly as they all headed towards their class.

Lunch came around quickly to Kira who had been keeping up the teacher for that day. More introductions but at least it wasn't the one from yesterday. She stretched, looking over at Ayane who was making the call about that afternoon. It was quick call as she stood up and went over to Riley. "I don't need to go in today, so I can hang out after school."

"That's great!" Riley said with a smile, "I just have to do a couple things for student council, but that should only take maybe ten minutes, after that we all can head out if that's okay with everyone."
Fiyero stretched and yawned as he got out of his desk, "That's fine with me. What about you Kira, does that sound okay?"

Kira was putting her notes away from that lesson. "I'm game to go. It's going to be nice to see the town."

Ayane smirked, "Junes can be interesting depending on when you go."

"Sound's like we're all good to go then!" Fiyero smiled as he sat on Riley's desk.
"Yea," Riley said with a stretch, "And speaking of Junes, isn't the guy we saw yesterday there sometimes?"
"The one that got sick?" Fiyero asked with a curious look.
"Yea, I think that was him." Riley said, "At least if I remember right that's him. He's usually always around the elevator."
"Oh yea! That was him!" Fiyero replied before turning his attention back to the girls, "Where should we go first? Just straight to Junes or the shopping district first?"

"Shopping distract is on the way, so we may as well pass by it." Ayane spoke up.

"That sounds like a plan to me."

"I can also point out where I work. I'm not saying head in, but I can at least show you."
