Steve hid a little grin at that. "Buck might not let her yet," he said. "If it were anyone else he'd say yes, but her?" He shook his head a bit. "He wants to make sure he doesn't screw up with her."

"We'll see," Taylor said, grinning a little. "I'm sure they'll be fine. She likes the arm, though, that I can guarantee."

Steve snorted at that. "We'll find out tomorrow," he said with a bit of a grin. This would definitely be entertaining, if nothing else.

"Yes we will," Taylor said, grinning. She got up on her toes and kissed his cheek. "Besides, I definitely enjoy how you dress now."

Steve blinked, because that came kind of out of nowhere. "It's what you're used to," he said with a little shrug. "You're not used to forties dress, even still."

"No, but I can appreciate how you look in modern clothes," Taylor said. She grinned a bit. "Though there's still something to be said for a uniform."

Steve grinned. "I'll have to keep that in mind," he said, his voice mild but his eyes intent. He would definitely remember that.

Taylor just grinned a bit and tucked herself against his side. For the moment, life was good.

By the time Tony made it up to the living room, food had been ordered and people had settled in to eat and not just play video games. Alissa was still sticking close to Bucky, but Clint and Natasha were visibly comfortable around the two newcomers.

"Well, looks like quite a party," Tony said, his voice dry as he dropped into a chair. "I miss anything good?"

"Nat's been usurped as the Game Overlord," Clint replied, glancing over. "It was pretty impressive."

"What?" Tony blinked. "When did this happen and who usurped her so I can give them an award?"

"You're exaggerating," Alissa said, shifting a bit to cuddle into Bucky's side.

"Bucky's girl did it," Clint replied, grinning. "It was a beautiful thing." He ignored the fond shove he got from Natasha.

"Huh." Tony looked at Alissa for a few moments before he shrugged. "Interesting."

Alissa huffed a bit at Clint.

Clint grinned, unashamed.

"Have Jarvis show you later, it was wonderful," he said. "Barnes was talking trash, Nat whooped him, and then this girl comes in and beats Nat."

"Sounds highly entertaining," Tony said, making a mental note to look later on. "Did she beat you too?" He grinned, because of course he knew how this went by now.

"Indirectly," Clint replied. "I'm not dumb enough to get in the way when Nat's thrashing someone, so I just watched."

Tony snickered a bit and settled in to eat, keeping an eye on the two newcomers. Just because.

Taylor saw Tony and blinked. Oh wow, she hadn't realized how much like Howard he really looked. It was a little jarring.

Tony quirked an eyebrow at her when he noticed her looking. "See something you like?" he asked with a habitually flirty grin. Steve just sighed.

Taylor blinked.

"Oh! Sorry, I was just thinking," she replied, shaking her head a bit. "I didn't mean to stare."

"You can stare," Tony said, waggling his eyebrows.

Steve sighed again, because this was normal Tony behavior.

Taylor rolled her eyes. As if she hadn't dealt with this brand of flirting before. She settled in a bit closer to Steve.

After that, conversation settled back into normal for the team, giving the girls a chance to relax again.

By the end of the evening, Taylor found herself cuddled up next to Steve, dozing a bit. She'd managed to relax enough that she felt comfortable doing that even around everyone else.

Someone had decided it was a movie night, and everyone had settled into chairs and couches around the TV. Alissa ended up curled up with Bucky.

Steve kept an arm around Taylor, content to just stay there for a while and relax.
