Alice giggled in order to hide the blush at the way that could be taken. She didn't want to go back and now she wouldn't. Though she wondered what they would do if she didn't come back, but it didn't matter and she didn't care. "I'm sure it will be wonderful." She smiled to him.

Both the Door Mouse and the March Hare said their goodbyes and started to head home. "Until next time!" called out the Hatter as he waved goodbye then started to clear the table easily. "You're probably tired from your travels." Hatter said softly and motioned for her to follow him. "Let me show you to your room." he said politely and opened the door for her to enter.

"Good night Mouse and March!" Alice smiled waving them off. She followed Hatter in and smiled. "I'm sure it's wonderful Hatter, thank you." She said softly. She was excited and nervous all at the same time. She never stayed with a man before, and while yes there was separate rooms, it was still new and exciting.

Leading her down a hallway, he opened a door and motioned for her to walk inside. "Here we are. This will be your room Alice. I hope it's to your liking." he said softly and smiled. "That is my room over there." Hatter said and pointed over to another door. "If you can't find me I am most likely in there." he explained easily. "Well then, I'll let you get some sleep. We can talk in the morning." Hatter said.

Alice smiled. " Thank you Hatter it's lovely!" She said softly but excitedly. Just as he was about to leave, she called his name once more and hugged him. " Thank you Hatter. I'm so glad you out sent them to find me." She whispered letting him go. There was that rose tint to her cheeks again as she pulled away and looked at her feet.

Hatter was surprised at the hug but smiled and hugged her back easily. "Well it's hard to ignore someone when you've grown to care about them don't you agree?" he asked and gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "It's great to have you back Alice. I've missed you very much you know." he whispered.

Alice smiled as another blush crept over her face at his simple touch. "I missed you too Hatter. I... I kept having dreams about you this last month." She admitted. She looked up at him and smiled. "Well, I'll let you get to sleep. I'm sure after planning that wonderful party you are exhausted." Alice hugged him and pressed a kiss to his cheek then turned to the room.

"Really? Well that makes two of us." Hatter replied with a grin on his face. Nodding, he chuckled at what she said, "Yes, well parties always tend to have that effect on me. That's all worth it though if my friends are enjoying themselves." he explained and was surprised when he felt the kiss on his cheek. "Goodnight Alice, sleep well."he said softly and walked over to his room before walking inside and closing the door behind him quietly. "She kissed me...!"he whispered to himself. He could hardly believe it but he knew it was real. This was no dream, of that he was very certain. Getting dressed for bed, Hatter hung his hat on the hook on the wall and slipped into bed under his warm sheets. Sighing softly, he stared at his hat for a while before closing his eyes and slowly falling to sleep.

Alice bit her lip once she had left the hall and gone back to her room. "Oh Alice.... you're engaged! You can't stay here! You definitely can't be kissing Hatter!" She complained into her palms as she flopped on the bed. She looked up at the ceiling to realize she didn't have any clothes or anything here. "Oh Alice you dodo. When will you ever learn?"

The following morning, Hatter was up rather early fixing up some breakfast for the both of them. He wasn't sure what her favorite food was, he couldn't remember anyway. Still, he was sure that she'd like the breakfast he prepared. "I wonder if she was able to get plenty of sleep." Hatter asked himself as he started to serve the breakfast.

Alice woke up stretching. Her hair was in a messy slept in braid that wrapped around her shoulder. She looked around the room and smiled. "It wasn't a dream." She smiled a bit pulling her legs into her chest. Taking a deep breath, she could smell food being made in the kitchen. She looked at what she had to wear. "Oh I don't have anything other than my clothes from yesterday." She sighed. Though she did have her tank top that she wore under her top yesterday, she could wear that, and then her jeans... that could work. She smiled pulling it on and walked out slowly.

The hatter had just set the table and brushednsome hair from his face. Despite getting plenty of sleep, hatter was still pretty tired. "Probably because I woke up early. I wonder what Alice will want to do today..."Hatter said as he looked over the food while thinking about what would be done today.

Alice smiled to herself hearing Hatter talk to himself as he scurried about the kitchen. "Well, I don't know about clothes. I think I will need new ones soon." She smiled looking at him from the door way.

"I can get you some new clothing Alice. I mean, I make hats but I am pretty sure that I can make you some clothes." The hatter commented once he heard Alice speak. "All I need are measurements and fabric."he added with a smile. "Now then, let's eat up before the food gets cold."Hatter said softly.

" Well we just might have to."she smiled sitting at an open spot at the table.

"Are you okay with that Alice?"The hatter asked before sitting at the table. "I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable. "he explained easily before starting to eat his breakfast. It was very obvious that she had some sort of feelings for him, and it was because of that, that he had to be extra careful around her now.

" I'm fine with that. I just wished I had paid more attention to that class when I was younger." Alice said simply. " Um Hatter, there's Somethi I didn't tell you last night."

"Something you didn't tell me?" Hatter repeated and raised an eyebrow. "What didn't you tell me Alice?"Hatter asked. He was surprised to hear that Alice was keeping something from him and he wondered what it could be.

Why did she say that? She had had no intention of telling anyone here, but it was too late now. She took a deep breath before speaking. "I have a fiancé back home.... I don't want to marry him, he's not my type at all, my parents are forcing me to." Alice said quickly.

Hatter's grin slowly faded as he heard this, "So...you're engaged..? " he said softly but managed to smile." Well then, we must make sure you have very nice clothes for when you go back and marry this man." he added and shrugged. "However, if you truly do not want to marry him...why not just stay here in Wonderland?" Hatter suggested.

Alice saw his slight change. " I don't want to. Marry him that is. I just thought you should know. Honestly that's a lie, I don't know why I even brought it up. I guess I don't want secrets between us or something... I don't know." Alice rambled. Feeling a bright blush forming she began eating just to shut her up.

"N-no...I'm glad that you told me Alice. You have my promise that I won't tell anyone." The hatter assured with a nod of his head before continuing to eat his breakfast. When he was done, he thought for a bit before looking at Alice. "You don't have to marry him if you don't want to Alice." he commented softly.

" Well I think I won't have to worry about it. I'm not going home." Alice smiled. She didn't know why, but she felt a lot better saying that now that she told him about that particular detail.

"What about family and friends? What about your school?" The hatter asked curiously. He was happy though to hear her say that she was going to be staying here in Wonderland. He would miss her terribly if she had decided to leave again, he probably wouldn't get much sleep again.

" My family almost had me put in an asylum when I got back last time. They forced me to take classes that bore me and I wouldn't get to use anyway since the man they wanted me to marry thought it silly for a girl to even take classes when I was going to be a stay at home wife anyway." Alice sighed. "And as for friends everyone thought I was insane so..." She shrugged.
