"Sometimes. If I'm in the area, so normally whenever I take Hana to the park. They don't mind having her here as long as I stay outside. I know a few places who would object to having her even if we stayed outside." Tino stated. It only took a few minutes for a waitress to come over to them. "Good afternoon, gentlemen. Can I get you anything to drink?" she asked. "Just water for me. And could you bring a bowl of water for her?" he asked, gesturing to Hana. He gave the waitress a smile when she confirmed she could do that.

Normally places didn't mind dogs outside since you couldn't even regulate it. Berwald nodded his head though, understanding. "I'll have a coffee," he stated when the waitress turned her attention to him. Even on a warm day and in the afternoon, coffee remained his favorite drink. The waitress left to get their drinks and Berwald turned his attention back to Tino. "Nice of 'em to bring water for Hana though."

"Yeah. That's another reason I like coming here. They'll even bring food out for her if I order some. I like to give her things like this every now and again." Tino told him. He focused his attention on the menu that had been on the table when they arrived d. He already knew what he was going to order, but he always liked to check in case something else catches his eye.

They must have been dog likers here. Berwald noted the cafe's name in his head so he could remember to come back. "S'good," he murmured and fell into silence until the waitress came with their drinks. He took his with a small thanks.

"Are you boys ready to order?" She asked. Berwald hummed his affirmative before ordering a simple turkey sandwich. He wasn't that hungry anyway.

Tino ordered a chicken salad sandwich and some chicken breast for Hana. The waitress nodded and wrote it down before leaving. He set the bowl of water down by his feet and Hana happily began lapping it up. "The food is pretty good here." He told Berwald, taking a sip of his drink.

"Good ta know," Berwald hummed. It smelled good enough and his coffee had obviously been freshly brewed which counted for a lot in his opinion. He took another sip of the hot liquid. "I look forward to eating since ya so highly recommend it." He felt comfortable in his chair and reached down to scratch Hana between the ears.

Tino smiled at him as he watched Berwald scratch Hana's ears. Her little tail wagged hard as she moved to put her front paws on his leg again, wanting on his lap. "I'm glad the weather is so nice today. It helped us have such a wonderful day so far." he commented.

Berwald wasn't sure he should let the dog on his lap here, especially if they were prompt bringing the food. Hana would have to go on the floor then anyway, so he just gave her an apologetic pat. "Hm...yeah. Forecast was right for once," he said. It did well that he researched a little before hand. Remembering something, he pulled the camera out of his bag and snapped a picture of Hana.

Hana was a bit disappointed that she couldn't get in Berwald's lap. She instead just laid by his feet, not noticing her picture being taken. "Why did you take her picture?" Tino asked, curious. Just after he asked that, the waitress reappeared with their food. "Here you go gentlemen. Enjoy." she told them with a smile, putting the plates on the table before walking away. Tino began cutting up the chicken into smaller pieces for Hana to eat.

"...cause she's cute," Berwald explained with a sheepish shrug of one shoulder. He didn't have a reason. He just knew he wanted to take a picture of Tino for the same reason, but didn't. When the food came, he tucked the camera back into his bag. Not wanting to stare at Tino, he stared at his food, though his thoughts remained on the cute man before him.

"She is very cute." Tino agreed. "I've taken a lot of pictures of her myself. Just can't help it when she's doing something cute." He finished cutting up the chicken as he was talking and set the plate on the ground. Hana immediately went over and began eating, tail wagging quickly. Tino watched her for a second before taking a bite of his own food.

Berwald nodded with agreement, still lost in his thoughts. "Yeh...very cute..." he reiterated, never looking away from Tino. When he realized he'd been staring, he ducked his gaze and tried to focus on his food instead. His stare was unnerving after all even if he never meant it. He couldn't help he'd been born with such a face. "...Food's good," he added after a bit of silence.

Tino didn't notice Berwald staring at him at first. But once he noticed, it started making him uncomfortable. But he didn't say anything about it, not wanting to be rude. Even if he felt slightly relief when the other looked down then felt bad about that. He nodded his head in agreement to what the other said. "Yeah, it is." he agreed.

Berwald searched around for something to say. The atmosphere felt awkward all of a sudden and it was surely his fault. "We should probably let our friends know about tonight," he said, returning to their earlier conversation. He knew Mathias would say yes, but he wanted to discourage the other from starting to drink earlier than that.

"Your right." Tino agreed. He pulled out his phone to text Lukas. 'Hey. Do you want to go for drinks tonight?' he sent. It only took a moment before he received an answer. 'Depends on where we're going.' He looked up at Berwald at that. "He wants to know where we would be going." He told him.

Berwald sighed and texted Mathias. As expected, it took less than a minute for the other man to respond. He would love to drink and supplied a list of three great places. Berwald picked the first one. "Says the dirty dog. Some English pub or somethin." It wouldn't matter either way and he would be fine wherever they drank.

Tino nodded and replied back. After getting an affirmative answer from Lukas, he texted his other friends and was a bit disappointed when they all decline, having work piling up from the week. That was fine. Getting Lukas's approval for dating Berwald was the last thing on his list for him. Lukas was his closest friend and his opinion meant everything to him. He was also honest and very blunt. If he found something wrong with Berwald, he would let Tino know. So that would be a good thing, right? "I told him to meet us there about 9 pm. Is that to early for you or should I tell him something different?" he asked him.

Berwald nodded and paused for a second to think. "Make it 9:30. Peter might be in bed by then..." Or at least, it was reasonable enough for Berwald to make him at that hour. He wouldn't have to worry about his son then and could drink in peace. He sent the time to Mathias and made sure he knew others would be there and that their opinions mattered to him. "Who all is coming?"

Tino sent the message about the time to Lukas and received a quick reply saying that would be fine. "Only Lukas is available to come. All my other friends have a lot of work to get done by Monday." he told him. A small part of his brain considered that they might be lying about it, but pushed it aside. His friends may have told a few lies in their lives, everybody has, but he knew they wouldn't lie about this. Besides, they all promised to make it up to him. So it was alright.

"Then just four of us," Berwald hummed. It was probably for the best. A small drinking party stayed sane, easier to start, and easier to end. He ate a little of his sandwich in silence before he decided on the appropriate, polite response. "Maybe they can come next time." Without meaning to, he opened them up to future time together like he'd been struggling to do from the start.

"That sounds wonderful~" Tino exclaimed, beaming brightly at Berwald. It made him very happy that Berwald wanted to meet his friends. This guy just kept getting better and better. Which meant there had to be something wrong with him. That's how these things worked, right? Well, he supposed he could count the other's awkwardness with talking as his flaw. But that was fine. It didn't counteract all the good things he was. So it was ok. Tino went back to eating in an extremely good mood.

Berwald really was looking forward to the night to the point he struggled to focus on the now. He would meet more people, but drinking would make that fine. Without realizing the passing of time, he finished eating his sandwich. Berwald found himself fingering the napkin set under his plate. "Can I take your picture?" he asked suddenly. The urge came back to him and this time, he decided that he needed to answer it.

Tino didn't really mind the silence while they ate. He was just enjoying being with Berwald. He had gotten so used to the silence in the time they've been sitting there, that he jumped slightly at the other's sudden question. Swallowing the last bite of his own sandwich, he nodded. "Of course you can. Only if I can take one of you." he said in response.

Berwald hesitated at Tino's answer. No one ever wanted to take his picture and he disliked that kind of intimatacy. He couldn't really say why a photo seemed intimate, but it felt like the taker wanted to capture him. At least, he hoped to do so with Tino. Finally, he nodded his head. "...S'fine." He pulled his camera out again and held it in position. "Ya ready?"

Tino paused from where he had begun taking out his phone when Berwald said he could take his picture. He set it on the table before nodding and giving him and bright grin. He couldn't help but smile around the other man. There was just something about him that made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside and he liked the feeling.
