What?! Loki miscalculated this entire situation... If SHIELD did not have the scepter, who did?! Loki wouldn't give up that easily, however. No... Loki was always one for bargaining, but this was not a good bargain. He'd not give up Evy that easily.
"No." Loki spat. "What good would it do me to let her go? As long as I have her, I have your attention." Loki brought his free hand to her neck and held Evy tightly. "We have no bargain, Fury. If I do not have my scepter, you do not have the girl."
He noticed that Fury looked as though he were going to take a step closer to both himself and Evy and Loki didn't realize just how crazed he sounded until he spoke again,
"Please don't come closer..." He wasn't begging, it was more like a polite demand. "Unless you don't mind me torturing this poor girl a little more. Rest assured, Fury, I will not kill her, for as long as she lives, you will do as I say." He began to squeeze Evy's neck tightly, emphasizing his point that he would not kill Evy, but he would definitely make life much harder for her.
"You do not have the scepter, fine. But you will find it for me, and you will return it to me. If not, you'll have much bigger problems to fuss over than me trying to rule this realm." Loki smiled, "Oh, and you'll be out one pretty, young agent."

Evy was without words. Fear glowed in her hazel eyes as her body began to stiffen up all over again the moment she felt Loki's hand clasp around her slender neck. His skin was smooth and cold, sending a shiver down her spine. She wasn't sure if it was a shiver of disgust, or a shiver from the simple discomfort of someone physically threatening her as thus. She breathed quickly, her nose flaring with her tiny, rapid breaths as she remained quiet.
Her eyes pleaded for Fury to save her, to do something or to whip up some random plan that would ensue her safety at that very moment. She even waited for Hill's calm voice in her ear, but nothing. All that happened was her watching Fury take a step back, his hands lowering against his leather black trench coat.
"I'll be seeing you again soon, Loki," Fury said in a low and dangerous voice. His head slightly tilted down, his eye glaring at Loki before he looked to Evy. A soft apology passed over his face and Evy began to shake with fear.
"Don't you dare leave me here with him, Director," Evy growled with a fear-filled frustration through clenched teeth despite the tightness of Loki's hand on her neck.
Fury said nothing. He only backed out of the room and left her to the silence with Loki as her eyes widened with the realization that she was on her own until whatever Fury had planned, would happen. A tear spilled down her cheek and she still shook.
No. Today was not her day. Not at all.

Loki grinned at his small victory, he moved the laser gun to point it at Fury for a moment. "I'll look forward to it." He said, then, nodding his head, he used his magic to disappear with Evy.
They reappeared in an abandoned underground lot. The same one that Loki had used for his mindless puppets of scientists and mind-controlled SHIELD agents when he'd first visited Earth. This place brought back many... painful memories for Loki as he remembered watching his 'helpers' work, at the same time, worrying over Thanos and the so-called army he was promised.
Those days were over now, now, he had a chance to redeem himself. Prove himself worthy once again in the eyes of Odin, prove himself worthy in the eyes of Thor. Loki let go of Evy's neck and allowed for her to catch her balance. He stepped away from her, turning his back to her as he thought for a moment, then he let out a little chuckle.
"What did I tell you, Agent?" He said, turning around to see Evy's face. "SHIELD does not care about you. They would not risk the useless lives of many to rescue one, important one." He came a little closer to her, but did not touch her anymore. He only wanted to see the emotions in her face as he allowed the reality of it to sink in for her. "SHIELD knows you'll be hurt, SHIELD doesn't care. They only care about people when it's beneficial for them."
He paused a moment, watching Evy carefully. "I suggest you get comfortable, Agent. It seems you'll be with me for a while. This could be a decent experience for you, so long as you do what I say and you do not defy me. You'll soon understand that I am not your enemy, SHIELD is."

Years of trust build with Shield struggled in her hazel eyes as they watered up again. Her jaw visibly tightened as her pink lips formed a thin line, looking around at the area they were now at. She wrapped her arms around herself and stumbled a bit after he had let her go. Her eyes rested up on Loki's when he stepped close to her and for the first time, she wasn't looking up at him with hatred, but with a sense of loss.
Surely SHIELD was working on something that would ensure that she would be rescued. She didn't know Loki well enough but just from the old filed reports she had read, it was enough for her to fear the worse from him. He could harm her in any way he wished and she suddenly felt used, like a toy.
Thoughts raced through her mind from doubts about SHIELD and their care for her to what would come of her in the next few days beside Loki, should she still be alive by then.
So she remained quiet and turned her back to him, looking around the underground lot. She found an old dusty chair and sat down on it as she pulled her legs up and crossed them into a pretzel as she rested her hands on her ankles and put on a numb facade as her mind reeled with confusion, trying to understand all of this and SHIELD's actions.

Loki hadn't forgotten about her hand, it would probably get infected, and she'd probably be in a lot of pain once that happened, but he really didn't feel like being bothered with that at the moment. If he kept pushing her buttons, kept hurting her, there'd be no chance of her ever joining his side. Evy would probably just hate him more if he only continued to abuse her without much cause.
He stood still, watching her carefully. She seemed like a pretty strong woman. She could easily be an asset if only he could warp her mind just enough that she'd betray SHIELD. If he could just convince her that SHIELD was the enemy, that he was just an unbiased party in this realm, perhaps she'd be the key to him getting what he wanted.
He needed to know more about her. Find out her deepest secrets, figure out what he could use to his advantage. He continued to stare at her back, debating with himself on whether or not he should approach her. He could do anything he wanted, after all, she was his to control. But, he didn't just want to control her, he wanted her to freely do whatever he said. It would be way more fun to see the horror on Fury's face to see one of his own SHIELD agents working hard to fight against SHIELD.
He decided not to say anything to her, it'd be best to give her some space... Give her some time to come to terms with what was happening. Loki didn't want to break her too quickly. He set the gun down at his feet. Some time soon, he'd get what he wanted from Evy. He'd get his revenge on Thor, soon enough.
He sat on the floor, next to the gun and continued to stare at her back, making not a single sound and nothing could be heard except for the sound of some mice's paws scattering about the floors.

Minutes upon minutes passed, which felt like forever to turn into legit hours, feeling Loki's eyes bore into her back as if they burned right through her skin. The watch on her wrist, a simple white gold birthday present from Hill (as an upgrade from her last watch from when she started working at SHIELD, a plastic cheapy piece of crap). It was almost nightfall and her stomach growled with hunger.
Her hand still stung and nibbled at her bottom lip as she shrugged out of her jacket and neatly placed it on the back of the chair she sat in, revealing her sweating shoulders and neck. Her eyes caught on her injured hand, which still stung like all hell. She hissed at it when she prodded around it, testing how tender it just really was as she tilted it in the dimmed light of the lot, hoping she could see how deep it'd be.
"Do Asgardians eat?" Evy asked after a few hours. She wasn't used to being hungry and it made her uncomfortable and restless, almost fearful that she'd starve.
Slowly, she turned in the chair and allowed her eyes to catch with Loki's. He looked calmer than before, almost as if he was concentrating, but no longer in the fit of rage he had been in hours ago. She hung her arms over the back of the chair, atop the collar of her jacket as she crossed them and rested her chin on her forearms with a sigh. She no longer felt fearful in his presence, but he still made her uneasy just because he had been staring at her for so long. She almost wanted to ask him what he was thinking, that made him look at her. But she pushed that idea aside, ending with the idea that maybe he was just being watchful over her, making sure she wouldn't attempt to escape regardless of how she had pretty much proven by now she wouldn't try to. She wouldn't even dare to.

Hearing Evy's voice managed to pull Loki from his thoughts. He looked up at her, "Yes. Asgardians eat. Quite often, actually." Loki's lips started to curve into a smile, but he found it hard to smile as he continued talking, "But I am not Asgardian..." He looked away from Evy. "At least, not anymore."
He stared off into the distance for a moment, not focusing on anything in particular. After a few seconds his eyes shot back to look at Evy and he smirked. "I believe that humans can survive quite a while without food. You will eat when food is available."
Loki got to his feet and gently kicked the laser gun in the opposite direction of Evy, just in case she got any ideas. He started pacing out of habit, "However, perhaps we can work out... a sort of trade. I won't ask you for much... All I ask is... for you to tell me about yourself. However much, that is up to you. But be aware, the more you share, the more 'available' sustenance will become."

Evy's wary and weary hazel eyes followed Loki's movements, ignoring the sound of the gun scraping against the concrete floor in the opposite direction. She watched him pace, feeling odd that he was no longer looking at her, after how long he had just spent staring at her. She tilted her head to the side, looking away from him and over at a rat lining the corner of the room, sniffing the empty concrete. She thought it over, but as quickly as she could. She wasn't secretive like Hill or Fury. She didn't mind telling others about herself. But she usually didn't share her personal information, like her old life before SHIELD, with anyone who didn't prove they were worth of her sharing such things. Like Loki, for an instance.
But hers stomach made an empty, creaking noise when she sucked in a quick, heavy breath and puffed it out with her lips vibrating together for no more than three seconds. She did that when she was thinking about something deep such as this. Somehow, it helped her think.
Loki was offering up a fair trade. However...
She sat up in the chair, her back straightening as she tilted her head to the other side asking, "What kind of sustenance are we talking about? Because I'm a picky eater."

Loki couldn't help but let out a small, short laugh at her little comment. Oh, the snark. One thing he had to give her, she was certainly amusing. He continued to pace, however, at a much slower rate.
"I'm sure that your human instinct to survive would surely override your 'picky eating', as you so eloquently said." Loki smiled. "You eat what I give you, or you do not eat at all. I will not negotiate it further."
He couldn't ignore the sound of her stomach growling. He was positive, any hungry person would eat whatever they are given. If not, then perhaps Asgard and Midgard were not all that different. The people on Asgard were just as spoiled and rotten as the people of Earth, apparently.
"Do we have a bargain?"

The short chuckle Loki had let out made her stomach feel weird. She wasn't sure if it was really because of its emptiness, or because of maybe how creepy, dark, and twisted she thought of his chuckle. She shivered and straightened her neck, looking down at her hands as her elbows reached back so her hands could pick at the frayed tag at the neck of her jacket. Silence took her over for a few minutes, thinking over all of this. He could easily ask her questions about SHIELD. Questions in which she may not even know the answers too. While she had been at SHIELD for some time now, she didn't really know them...all that well...
A cynical smile took over her lips, stretching them into something wrong as she shook her head. Of course she didn't know SHIELD all that well. Maybe Loki was right. Maybe they were liars, maybe she wasn't as important to them as she had honestly thought she was, or at least what they had made out to be. After all, they had saved her life countless of times, especially with what had happened months ago...
A darkness swept through her eyes for a mere second at the thought of that happening months ago.
She looked up at Loki, holding the same cynical smile as she got to her feet and slowly walked over to him as she crossed her arms over her chest. She stopped just a few inches away from him, looking up and into his eyes daringly.
"We have a deal," she murmured to him.

Staring back into Evy's eyes and seeing something there that was not before, almost, almost excited Loki. His smile completely faded from his face and he only continued to stare back into the darkness of Evy's eyes. He looked down at her, feeling somewhat serene... Perhaps this would be easier than he thought. He'd originally believed that getting information from Evy would be like pulling teeth, but so far, it was going much smoother than he'd expected.
"Good." He turned on his heels and walked a short distance away from Evy, then took a seat directly on the floor, folding his legs and sitting up straight. Attentive to anything Evy might talk about. "What is it that you'd like to share first? All I ask is to get to know you. You could tell me anything. Your deepest fears, your best memory, anything to do with SHIELD or nothing to do with SHIELD." He paused a minute, "And do not attempt to tell me your favorite food, as that will not persuade me to go out and get it for you."
He watched Evy once more, giving her his full attention. He didn't really care if she spilled all of her deepest secrets that very moment or not. Getting all the information he needed from her in order to twist her words and warp her mind would take time. Thankfully, Loki had the patience of an owl.

Evy walked over and leaned against a pillar a ways from Loki, her arms crossed over each other as she looked up at the ceiling and then to a flickering light bulb before she looked over at Loki. Where to begin, she thought without amusement. She worried her bottom lip between her teeth for a moment and then leaned off of the pillar.
"Well. For starters. I was adopted." It wasn't as a touchy subject as it had been during hr teen years luckily, which made her words come out smoother than she knew the rest would. "Was four years old when my parents died in the usual cliche fetal car accidents. Then I was taken in by one of the agents of SHIELD. Her name was Jenna Koleman." Her voice broke then at the mention of her name.
She turned her back to the pillar and slid down to the floor to where Loki could only see the side of her closest to him. He must be raveling in the fact that she was giving into him like this. But basic human instinct... Who knew, Loki could starve her for all she knew. And he wouldn't even bat an eyelash.
Evy was started to get stiff. Not by choice, and not because this conversation was uncomfortable, but in a way that confused her. She furrowed her eyebrows for a moment and stared down at her hand. It was swollen and she knew it wasn't a good sign. "Shit," she whispered. She quickly spit on her hand out of a fearful impulse and rubbed her spit around the wound, clearing the dried blood and dirt to get a closer look at it.
The wound was getting infected by the minute.

At the mention of adoption, Loki stiffened a little. Oh, how he could relate... almost. He couldn't help but snarl a little. Adoption. Heh. It was a sore subject for Loki. He didn't know just exactly how much information she knew about him, or what SHIELD had decided to share with her about him and his brother. Regardless of how much she knew, he wouldn't give it away that he didn't like the idea of adoption. Perhaps it was different on Midgard, though? He'd just have to keep listening to find out.
When Evy slid to the floor against the pillar, Loki was a little surprised, yet, he didn't move a muscle. It was obvious she was in pain and she was scared. Loki decided against doing anything about it... not yet anyway.
He stood up and approached her slowly, looking at her hand. Oh yes, it was definitely infected. Loki grumbled softly in his throat. Sooner or later it would probably start to fester and turn that ugly shade of green like human bodies tend to do when they started to decay. Loki backed away, he could always use his magic to heal her, though he's never attempted it in the past. His sorcery was something he was very proud of, perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to share some of it with this one, possibly important mortal? Perhaps he could find her medical assistance? No, that would require him to give away some of his power over her. No. He'd have to rely on sorcery, but ONLY once her infection became life threatening. For now, it was in the beginning stages of just being an annoyance.
Loki sighed, "If only human lives were not as weak and fleeting..." He really, really didn't want to use his sorcery to heal Evy. He didn't want to show any kind of affection towards her and he worried that healing her would give that impression. Still, he wouldn't do it unless there was benefit for him. That shouldn't be hard to explain to her when the need arose. He continued to look at her hand, gently taking it in his own. "Oh yes. It does look quite repulsive."

She stared at her hand. No double Loki wouldn't be able to heal her. Weren't all gods possessed with different powers? Surely a god of mischief wouldn't have such an ability. She sighed and leaned her head against the column, staring up at the flickering light again. She let out a cynical laugh.
"I've never been sick before. I mean, I've gotten the chicken pox when I was a child. But never had I been sick enough to be excused from school or from my duties under SHIELD. Of course this had to happen. Why did you have to threaten me like this?" she snapped quickly at him. "You could have easily put a blade to my neck and I would have gotten the threat burned into my brain..."
It hit her.
She blinked, her epiphany clear in her weakened eyes as she shakily, weakly got to her feet. and looked over at Loki. "Is there anything hot around here I can burn this with? Like a hot iron or something of the such? Maybe I can heal it myself. I've been taught how to heal pretty much any injury during my apprenticeship when I first started SHIELD. It's basic knowledge they taught us in case we were stuck alone without any help..." she babbled off. Another thing about her she had just shared with Loki. She could help with pretty much any injury. A nurse, some working outside of SHIELD would call her. "That way you wouldn't have to take the troubles of dealing with it yourself," she bargained.
"I'll answer any of your questions." She raised her hand to show him the wound in the light. "I need to take care of this before it gets worse."

Loki didn't say anything as Evy continued to babble on about her injury and healing it. The words didn't really register in Loki's mind. He had choices. Either heal her and make her dependent on him, or allow her to heal herself and not have to get his hands dirty. The more he thought it over, the more the second choice seemed to appeal to him.
But which would ultimately get him to his goal faster? Heal her? Have her heal herself? Loki was torn. He could see only benefits from him from both situations. The only possible downside to healing her would be that it would take some of his own energy. Not much, but enough that it made him not want to heal her. He also didn't feel like staring at her ugly wound too much longer.
Evy seemed scared. Good. Loki needed her to be scared. He turned away from her,
"If you can find something hot it's yours..." Loki began, "Otherwise, you'll just have to make do." Loki turned away from Evy, he didn't want to bother himself with this infection anymore. He wouldn't let Evy die, he'd help her once it came to that. But for now, he'd just let her think that he'd let her die.

Hate bubbled back up in Evy's chest as her eyes squinted into a glare at the back of Loki's head. She closed her wounded hand into a fist, feeding off its pain to help her keep quiet from spewing the honest, hateful words at Loki. She dropped her hand to her side, still tight in a fist as she looked around the area. Everything looked odd down here. Halls upon halls of emptiness and concrete. A part of her wondered where this place was, or what it had been used for. Judging from the fact that Loki had brought her here, he must have used this as his hideout during his first visit here where he brainwashed Clint and Doctor Selvig.
She walked away from Loki a ways, suddenly seeing an enclosed area in the middle of the room covered in plastic. Through the walls, she could see the equipment, walking quickly in to see what there was. Maybe a welding tool. And there she eyed it in the corner on disarray trays and other equipment, the nozzle with the trigger.
Without giving Loki any time to intervene, she grabbed it and pulled the trigger. Fire spewed out the nozzle and she sighed. Letting go of the trigger as she looked around. She saw a bottle of vodka and a tray of a few tiny knives, unscrewing the lid as she dipped a knife into it and dried it off with the hem of her skirt, aiming the nozzle at the knife and soon lighting it. She waited until the tip of the knife was bright orangish-yellow before she aimed it at her wound. She could be daring when she wanted to, but did she have the guts to do this?

Loki heard the sound of Evy digging through the old, mostly broken equipment. He turned his back when he could hear the sound of the flame from a dusty welding tool. Loki found it quite entertaining to watch Evy as she began to set everything up, what, with getting the vodka bottle and knives. She seemed to have it all planned out.
It was when Evy held the hot knife up to her wounded hand that Loki began to worry. What was this fool doing?! Was she really going to burn herself? Loki walked towards her, slowly, not wanting her to panic and injure herself further. It was NOT because he cared about her, simply because if she died it would be difficult to get what he wanted from SHIELD.
"What are you doing?" He asked as calmly, yet, urgently as he could. He fought the urge to say, If I had only known you liked pain so much, I could have done so much worse to you. Now was NOT the time to make Evy more upset than she already was. He continued to walk towards her, a stern emotion plastered onto his face. Surely, she wouldn't burn herself just for the sake of possibly healing the wound. Loki was almost certain that this would not end well for her if she did it.

Loki's voice startled her. While it didn't sound angry or vengeful, it was still something that made her jump. Her eyes widened and she looked over at him. Steam rose from the heated knife under the lamp light that hung from the ceiling. She scowled at him, looking down at her hand as if she had to answer herself as well. What was she doing?
"I...I'm burning the wound?" It came out as a question because she looked down at the knife, watching the color fade back to the cold shiny steel color. Her heart raced in her ears and all she could do was blink profusely down at the cut.
She scowled, huffing a sky as she grabbed the torch again and burned the end again. "Now I have to reheat it again," she grumbled, not realizing her hands were shaking. This wasn't a mentally healthy thing to do, for sure, to hurt one self. But if Loki was going to be too prideful and stubborn to help her, she had no choice but to help herself.
She sucked in a breath after dropping the torch and pressed the flat part of the knife down onto the wound. It sizzled instantly, a cry escaping her as her body went stiffer than before, focusing on keeping the knife to her wound no matter how much she wanted to pull her hand away and dunk her hand into a bucket of ice. She cried out through clenched teeth, her face crumpling up in express to her pain.

The sound of sizzling flesh honestly sickened Loki and made him react much faster than he thought he ever would. Immediately, once Evy began to cry out he moved quickly and grabbed the scorching knife from Evy's hand. It truly disgusted him how she could stoop to such extreme measures. He understood she was desperate, but to burn herself?! Cause herself more injury? It appeared to be more pain that it was worth and Loki could not have Evy hurting herself out of desperation.
"You're mad!" He yelled, throwing the hot knife to the floor. "This is barbaric! What good would come of burning the infection? Would it not just cause more infection?" Evy definitely seemed desperate. He'd have no choice but to use his sorcery to heal her at this point. He couldn't sit back and watch as she burned her own hand through.
"Hold still." He said and he held his hand over her wound, allowing his energy to drain from his own body in order to heal Evy's hand. He didn't want to heal it completely, just give it a little jump start to be rid of infection and help it heal on its own. What a nuisance. He'd have to be more careful from now on. Evy was fragile, as were most humans he'd met.
Once he was certain that her wound was no longer infected he took a step back from Evy and examined her hand. It still looked awful, but at least it was no longer festering and horrible to the eyesight.
"You've done well, Agent Haron. As promised, I will get you food." He walked passed her, down a long, dark and narrow path where there were computers and broken, decaying equipment on both sides. He disappeared into the darkness for a while. It only took several minutes before Loki emerged from the darkness with a plain, brown, paper bag in his hand. "Food is scarce here, we'll eventually need to leave to find more, should you wish to continue talking." He set the bag down at Evy's feet.

She let out a frustrated shreek when she felt him take over the situation. She had it under control, and not to mention, she was on her way with being independent with getting rid of the infection. When he had dropped the knife, she yanked her hand away from him, holding it protectively to herself. He hadn't touched her in hours and it felt like his hand was the knife searing her skin now. But she let him take it back when he told her to hold still and she glared at him, watching him use his stupid Asgardian powers on her.
"For your information," she said slowly to him, "burning an infected wound can help cleanse it before the infection can spread. It can also be used to create a scab to protect the wound from anything else," she said quoting what she had once been trained from her instructor.
When he was done with healing her, she pursed her lips and glowered at him, taking her hand back as she stared down at it. It was no more a sickly brown and dark red color, but now a light red. She was happy to see the swollen had been gone and she sighed as she reached the hem of her shirt, ripping the bottom seam off so that she had a section of cloth to wrap her hand in. She wrapped her hand in the fabric quickly, almost expertly.
Evy had opened her mouth to speak out against Loki, but he was gone and had left her to the eerie silence of the building. When he returned, she stared down at the brown paper bag he had pushed towards her.
Before she even bent down to grab it, she put a hand on her bare hip. "I only told you a bit about myself," she started, "and I went and harmed myself...now you're giving me food?" Without waiting for him to answer, she plopped to the dirty floor and grabbed the paper bag, opening it to have the smell of food hit her nose in a nauseous wave. A simple sandwich laid inside with a bottle of apple juice. It was something and most definitely edible in her eyes as far as her usual pickiness came into mind.
She unwrapped the sandwich and bit into it, sighing as she melted into the fresh taste. She swallowed before she spoke to him, putting a fallen piece of lettuce back into her sandwich.
"They'd never expect me to be at my apartment as long as I'm captured by you, so my apartment is available for you. For us. There's a working shower, a stock of food, and the place is clean." Pretty much a hundred times better than the place they were in at the moment.

"That's ridiculous!" Loki could have laughed. Burning the wound!? What kind of sick, barbaric form of medicine are they teaching in SHIELD? Loki sighed. "You were taught to further injury yourself to prevent injury?!" That knowledge just went beyond Loki's comprehension. Humans were definitely strange.
When Evy suggested her apartment, Loki thought it was a bad idea. He didn't want to be trapped with her in a small, Midgardian home. He needed space. It would be suffocating for him to be in her apartment. Yet, Evy was right. SHIELD would not come looking for her in her apartment, and there would probably be much more food for her in her own home. Loki really, really did not want to go to her apartment. But, perhaps it could be for the best.
He could come into her home, give her a false sense of security and then continue to have a strong influence over her. He was pretty sure SHIELD had some sort of way to track Evy's whereabouts. Perhaps something she was wearing, maybe something on her clothes... something on her head?
"Take off your earpiece." Loki said. If there was anything on her that SHIELD could possibly use to track, it would be that little piece of metal in her ear that she used to communicate with them. He felt stupid for not getting rid of that sooner. The more he thought about it, the more he hated himself for it. He was doing his best to prove to everyone that he wasn't incompetent, but this way ridiculous. Even his idiotic brother would have known to get rid of that stupid, little piece of technology.
"If we are to go to your apartment, you will have to rid yourself of those clothes." He knew he'd hate himself for giving in to her so easily. "I can't trust that you're not wearing something that SHIELD could track. And besides, you're not safe in those clothes. You will change."

Evy found herself obeying him immediately when he had told her to take her earpiece off. She unclipped it from her ears and dropped it. It hit the concrete with a scratchy clang. She didn't even look down at it as she huffed a sigh, her lips stretching into a smile. "Seriously? You want me to get out of these clothes?" She looked around the area before she licked her lips and focued her eyes back on Loki before she bit into her sandwich again and then when she put her sandwich down on its wrapper, she unscrewed her juice.
"Look. Only tracking devices on me are on that earpiece and in the SHIELD insignia on that coat over there on that chair," she told him honestly. "And if you don't believe me, then tough luck. Because I'd rather pull my hair out section by section slowly and painfully than undress for you."
She was getting offended for no reason, at the idea of unchanging from him. She took a swig of her juice and managed to become calm and collected again as she unhooked her belt, holding her extra rounds and gun. "Does this make you feel better?" she asked as she cocked her head towards the belt in her one hand as she threw it away from her. It slid against the floor in the opposite direction quick, showing her strong arm.
"Look, I'll tell you more about myself. Just anything but undress for you. 'Kay?" she asked then biting into her sandwich once more. She didn't realize just how incredibly hungry she was until now.

Loki believed her when she said there was nothing more she was wearing that was able to be traced. He almost laughed when she got angry at him telling her to change clothes. He didn't ask her to get naked, but he could see how she'd interpret it that way. Evy never seemed to stop amusing Loki.
"I believe you." Loki said, "Let's hope, for the both of us, that you're truly being honest. It would be quite a shame to have to punish you for telling untruths."
He only stared at her as she continued to eat. She was definitely a fascinating mortal. He waited a few moments before saying anything, simply spending this time watching her eat. In a way, she kind of reminded him of his brother. His stupid, oaf of a brother. Loki turned his head to stare at the wall closest to himself.
"We will not stay in your apartment for too long." Loki was somewhat talking to himself, somewhat talking to Evy. "We will just take the food. I will allow for you to refresh yourself, change clothing and we will be on our way."
He put extra emphasis on her change of clothes. It didn't matter to him what she wore as long as she wasn't wandering around in her SHIELD uniform, for anywhere they'd go, she'd be easily spotted in uniform. SHIELD probably had eyes everywhere. If he could prevent those eyes from spotting her easily, he would.
No doubt, SHIELD got the message by now that he'd not hesitate to cause more injury to her if they even as much as made a gesture to try to take her from him. But still, he couldn't have SHIELD send for his brother, or worse, get the Avengers involved again and forcefully take her. He'd kill her before that could happen. He closed his eyes for a moment, all of these thoughts were so heavy on his mind.

She waited to respond to his words for when she had finished her sandwich. She struggled at the last few bites, her stomach being full as she chugged some of the juice to wash it down. She looked up at Loki and sighed. "Thank you for the food," she murmured to him honestly. She had always been raised to be polite, regardless of the person's personality.
She neatly stuffed her trash into the bag and tied it up, holding it in her hands as if she meant to throw it into the nearest trash bin when she came to it. She had almost forgotten about her wounded hand as the bag's handle brought forth a sharp pain. She hissed and switched hands.
"So how does this teleportation thing work? Do I tell you the address or do I have to imagine it or something?" she asked, shrugging with her words and shaking her head in her ignorance to such "powers". She didn't know how they worked, especially coming from an actual god.
It was times like this that made Evy question reality. She had grown up in a world without magic, or what most would call super powers. And now, working at SHIELD, it's all she was surrounded with anymore. Thought SHIELD called it "extraterrestrial", she called it "special". It made her heart light, remembering the one time she had called Banner "special" and made him give her a soft, sad smile. It was a smile regardless, even though Banner is generally a sad man. It still paid to make him smile a little bit.
"I live just at the farthest corner of Manhattan," she told him. "Only apartment building in the shopping district there between two sections of development houses. Is that easier for you?"
Evy had to catch herself. The hatred had left her right now. And for a moment, she had forgotten what was really going on, that she was being held hostage and that her life was on the line. She even almost forgot about the fact that SHIELD wasn't doing so great of an intentional job of helping save her. What were they doing after all?

"What's the news?" asked Fury as he entered into the main control room of SHIELD HQ.
A man nervously looked over to Fury and then to Hill, who had been in the room for hours overseeing things.
"He has her back in his underground hide out. The one he was in last time?" Hill announced as she slowly walked over to Fury, calm with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Can you find out if she's still alive?" Fury asked as he narrowed his eye on Hill.
Agent Hill shook her head. "All we know is that the connection is still strong."
Fury sighed and looked around the room, and then over at the screen that gave Evy's detailed profile analysis. "We can't afford to give up something we're trying to get our own hands on."
Hill blinked. "What are you saying, Director?"
Fury turned his back and headed towards the exit. "I'm saying that the scepter is the main focus." Before the doors shut behind him, he added, "for ourselves."

Evy never ceased to stop entertaining Loki. He couldn't help but smile a little at her ignorance of magic. Oh, she was definitely amusing. He'd miss her once her usefulness ran out and he'd have to get rid of her. Loki was familiar with the area of Manhattan. Not too familiar, but he could guess where the location of her apartment was. He had a great memory, he was certain he could at least bring them close to the location.
"Yes." He said simply in response to her question.
He came closer to her and grabbed her waist once more, pulling her close to him again. Then, he used his magic to help them both travel through space and time.
They reappeared in the farthest corner of Manhattan. Loki let Evy go slowly to allow her time to catch her footing. He looked around, noticing that people were staring at them. Evy couldn't walk around in her SHIELD uniform, and he couldn't walk around in his Asgardian garb if he expected to make it to her apartment without alerting SHIELD of their whereabouts. He grabbed Evy's arm and pulled her into an alleyway nearby.
"You will attract attention in your uniform." He said urgently. Loki knew that Evy did not want to change clothing, but... well, she needed to. "I'm a fair man." Loki started. "I can use my magic to give you a new appearance, or you and I will find another way into your apartment. Think fast, Agent Haron. We don't have much time."
As he finished speaking, he used his magic to change his clothes from his familiar Asgardian clothes to something less conspicuous. A simple black suit, not too fancy, just something that looked as though he were there to do business.
