"Your hired." Lori smiled "I want a traditional cake." She nodded then let out a yawn. "Guess I'm tired." She chuckled.

Bruce nodded. "Fine with me. We'll discuss anything else with the planner tomorrow. For now, it's late and we should get some sleep." He said.

Gemini clapped excitedly. "Yay! Okay, I'm gonna take Rose home. I'll draw up some cake designs and send them back with Jason tomorrow after school." She said, getting up to go.

Upstairs, Rosemary was yawning as well. "It's getting late, and we haven't had dinner yet. I wonder if Mommy is gonna come get me soon."

"Probably...just don't eat us." Jason edged away smiling. "I value my life thank you."

Lori nodded at Gemini then turned to Bruce. "You love me more than Talia right?" She just wanted to hear him say it.

Rosemary giggled. "That's okay, you probably taste gross anyway." She said, just as Gemini walked in. "Mommy! We were just talking about you."

Gemini chuckled fondly as her daughter ran up and hugged her legs. "Really? Well you know what they say: speak of the devil and he shall appear. Now, it's time to go home. Oh Jason, I'll have some pictures to send home with you tomorrow, if you don't mind." She said.

Bruce looked up, startled. "What? Lori, are you...?" He trailed off, realizing she was completely serious. "Lori, it's not even a question. I never loved Talia. I don't even like her. But I'm head over heels for you. Of course I love you more."

"Here I thought Joker was the devil." Jason snorted than nodded. "Alright I'll give them to Bruce when I get home tomorrow."

Lori smiled at him feeling better. "Good." She leaned over and kissed him hand resting on his arm to keep herself from falling off the chair.

Gemini smiled but didn't comment. Jason knew about Rosemary's father, but Rosemary didnt. "Thank you, Jason. See you later, Damian." She said, taking Rose's hand and leaving.

"See you guys tomorrow!" Rosemary said, waving as she left.

Bruce kissed her back, smiling slightly as he did. "So, shall we get some rest?" He asked after they broke apart.

"I was thinking of something that required a little more energy." Lori slid her hand up his arm while the other rested on his chest.

Jason watched them go then finished helping Damien. After there homework was done both boys headed for bed.

Bruce smiled. "Oh, I like that idea." He said.

In the morning Lori woke after Jason and Damien had gone off to school her body curled up against Bruce's. "Hmm?" She yawned and stretched careful not to hit him.

Bruce, who had woken about a half hour before, lay watching her. "Ah, you're up. How are you feeling?" He asked.

Gemini, meanwhile, had taken half a day off from work and was busy drawing up wedding cake designs.

"Better then I thought I would." Lori smiled up at him. Suddenly her stomach growled like a wild animal making her blush "guess I'm hungry." She laughed.

Bruce chuckled, then laughed harder as his stomach growled as well. "Well then, let's get some breakfast before we eat each other." He said.

At school, Rosemary was happily helping the teacher with the daily chores. Each kid was assigned a chore every day, and it was Rose's turn. Already, other kids were calling her a teacher's pet, but she was unaware of the teasing.

Damien sat watching the class from his seat in the back curious as to why Rose didn't beat the teacher for making her his slave.

Lori blinked then blushed. "To late for that." She mumbled hurrying downstairs wearing his shirt and a pair of shorts.

Bruce just laughed and followed her, after putting on his pants.

At lunch time, Rosemary came to sit next to Damian. "Hiya! What do you have for lunch today?" She asked brightly.

Lori had already started waffles humming softly as she worked. "Waffle and bacon sound good?" She asked when he entered the kitchen.

Damien opened his bag and took out a tuna sandwich. "Tuna apparently." He smirked as he pulled a note out. "Tell me what you like and I'll make it. Good luck at school from Lori." He stared then sighed. "She really is trying to make me welcome."

"Sounds perfect." Bruce said, kissing her on the cheek. "It's good that you're so good at cooking. Alfred needs someone to force him to take a day off sometimes." He joked.

Rosemary giggled. "Well, yeah. Auntie Lori is a nice person. She really cares and it probably means a lot to her that you l like her. Also, her tuna is amazing." She said, taking her roast beef sandwich out. "Ooh, mommy brought leftovers from work!"

"Hey, teacher's pet, where'd you get that sandwich? It's too fancy for you. Give it here." A boy from class said as he walked up to them.

Rosemary looked up, surprised. "Why, do you not have lunch? I'll give you half if you're hungry." She said, innocently misunderstanding the situation.

"That food is to good for him. He should go eat toilet paper." Damien stopped her from giving her half. "Plus he could afford to lose a few pounds up until he talked I though he was a pig."

"That's not nice..." Rosemary said, confused.

The boy laughed. "Che, what an idiot! I thought teacher's pets were supposed to be smart. Or are you faking so your boyfriend will protect you?"

Rosemary started to tear up. "But...I didn't...did I do something wrong? Why are you being so mean?"

"It's cause I don't like you, dummy. You're just a stupid little teacher's pet, acting all nice to make people like you. I can't stand spoiled little fakers like you!"

Damien punched the guy square in the face growling as his hand went to the dagger he had on his waist. "Shut the hell up Rose is a nice person and if you say one more thing you'll regret it."

Lori blinked and looked over at Alfred who looked happy to be waited on. "It is nice to cook for him." she smiled.

The boy staggered back, holding his bleeding nose. "You're crazy! I'm tellling!" He shouted before running to tell the teacher.

Rosemary grabbed Damian's arm. "Don't! If you use a weapon you'll be kicked out." She sniffled. "Why did he say those things? I didn't do anything wrong, did I?"

"You're the best." Bruce said, smiling as he set the table for her.

"Of course not some people are just rude. Those are the kind of people grandfather will kill first." Damien huffed and sat down toying with his dagger. "Who cares if I stay in this stupid school I know everything already I should be training with father."

"I know it." Lori laughed kissing his cheek. "I see you two had fun." Alfred smirked deciding to tease them. "Either that or Master Bruce let you borrow his shirt for some other reason." Lori turned a soft pink color.

Rosemary frowned. "Being rude isn't a reason to kill someone. Every life is precious, even the bad ones. Beating up is fine, if they deserve it, but killing is almost never okay. Not unless the person did something horrible. Like the Joker. He's someone who deserves to die. It's not as easy as uncle Bruce makes it seem. That's why humans shouldn't be in charge of death, because we're too emotional to judge right. It's nature's job." She said. "Hey Damian? Thanks for defending me. I wanna learn how to fight like that, too."

Bruce just smirked. "A man has every right to enjoy time alone with his fiance. I hope it doesn't bother you, Alfred." He said. Just then, the phone rang. "Who could that be? Hello?" He answered the phone, and his expression quickly turned exasperated. "Yes. Yes, alright. I'll talk to him...okay. Very well, I will be there shortly." He hung up the phone and sighed.

"Jason again?" Lori hazard a soft smirk on her face. "He has got to stop showboating his skills and calling teachers bad names...I was hoping Rose would kind of calm him down a little."

Damien blinked then snort coughed not wanting to ruin her view on the world. "I can teach you what I know." He spotted a teacher heading for them. "The clavier has arrived." He smirked. "Before you say anything I'm not moving and if you touch me I'll do much worse than I did to that loser."

Bruce shook his head. "No, surprisingly this time it wasn't Jason. Apparently Damian punched another boy and broke his nose. I have to go talk to him and meet with the principal. He said.

Rosemary was about to thank him when the teacher arrived. "Please don't punish Damian he was only protecting me cause that boy was being mean." She begged.

The teacher shook her head. "I'm not about to touch you, however threatening teachers isn't the best way to get out of trouble. I'm just here to tell you that your father is on his way, and you are to meet with the principal. As for the punishment, I'm afraid it's not me who decides these things. Rosemary, since you were also involved, you will be seeing the principal as well."

Damien snorted. "I'll see this principal if I feel like it as for my dad." He shrugged to him Bruce had no power Talia would have been proud and that's all that matter. "And if you punish Rose your idiots who will deserve my grandfather's wrath."

"And it's only his first day." Lori sighed and kissed his cheek. "Good luck."
