Bruce carried Damian into the mansion and settled the boy into bed gently. He made sure he was all set before going back out to the limo to retrieve Lori. "All set. If I may, my love?" He said to her.
|
"I have no choice." Lori sighed dramatically then grinned. "Alright." She slid closer and placed her arms around his neck. "Carry away."
|
Chuckling, Bruce picked Lori up and carried her to the door and across the threshold, then kissed her once they were in.
|
Lori shivered and kissed him back. "Get a room you two." Jason squeezed past them heading for his room.
|
Bruce laughed. "That's the second time someone's told us to get a room tonight. How about we listen to them?" He suggested, starting to carry her up the stairs.
|
"I agree." Lori grinned up at him as Jason grimaced. "So gross." he shivered.
|
((Timeskip?))
|
((yep))
Lori woke the next morning and grinned. "Bruce it's honeymoon time." she shook him with a slight bounce. |
Bruce woke up with a groan and stretched. "Alright, I'm up..." He mumbled, smiling at her.
|
"Don't go back to sleep." Lori hurried to get dressed, feed the two boys, and Alfred in record time. "Come on Bruce breakfast." She finished hers and went to pack.
Jason knocked on Rose's door looking confused. Damien blinked at the light "it was a blur whatever feed us." He mused. |
Bruce got up and dressed and went down to eat breakfast. To make Lori happy, he ate quickly so that he would be ready sooner. "Alright, I'm all set to go." He said.
Already dressed and wearing her backpack, Rosemary opened the door. "Good morning!" She said cheerfully. "Mom, I'm going to school now!" She called, getting a muffled response from her mother to have a good day. "She's making the beds. Let's go!" |
"Do you think it could have been Lori?" Damien asked still in there conversation about the blur. "No human could move that fast." Jason frowned. "Though I couldn't put it past Lori." he chuckled.
"Where are we going by the way?" Lori asked slipping into the car. |
Rosemary blinked. "What are you guys talking about?" She asked.
Bruce sat in the driver's seat and buckled himself in. "You don't remember? I told you last night we were going to Paris. But, you were pretty tired, so I guess you wouldn't remember all that well." |
"I don't remember much after our dance." Lori admitted with a blush. "I can't wait to see the Eiffel tower and the Rose window."
Jason explained there whirlwind morning. "I still say it was Lori." Damien sighed. |
Rosemary giggled. "I'll bet it was auntie Lori. She can move really, really fast when she's excited, and I bet she's super excited for her trip with uncle Bruce." She reasoned.
Bruce chuckled. "We'll have a whole week to see whatever we want...and to find out why they call it the city of love." He teased. |
"The more I think about the more I agree." Jason shivered. "I didn't know people moved that fast."
Lori blushed a little. "It's very romantic that's all." She shifted glad when the airport come into view. "Got to love how we have our own planes." She grinned and got out spotting the running plane. "That one?" |
"People can't move that fast." Rosemary said simply. "But auntie Lori's not people. She auntie Lori." She added, as if that explained everything.
Bruce nodded, chuckling. "I called ahead so the plane would be ready when we got here." He said. |
Bruce realized as he said it that be was talking to air. The only evidence she had been next to him was her perfume. "Come on Bruce." Lori called from the door of the plane.
"That..." Jason broke off and shivered. "She's kind of scary." He said. "She makes good lunches." Damien changed the subject. "That she does." Jason agreed with a grin. |
Bruce laughed and got out of the car, taking their luggage as he followed Lori onto the plane.
Rosemary nodded. "And great cookies. But not as good as my mom's, though." She said proudly. |
They both looked at her. "Cookies?" Damien frowned. "There is no way Gemini's cookies are better than Lori's." Jason looked to Damien. "You can be the decider."
|
Rosemary crossed her arms. "It's true! Mommy bakes all the time for the restaurant she works at, and her baking is the best! Especially 'cause I help!" She said stubbornly. "Auntie Lori is the best at cooking, but my mom is the best at baking."
|
Jason frowned then shrugged. "Fine but Damien still has to try a cookie at some point."
|
"Fair enough." Rosemary agreed. "Damian, just wait till you do! Remember the cake at the wedding? My mom made that. You haven't lived until you've had auntie Lori's dinner and my mom's dessert together!" She said.
|
Damien nodded still frowning a little.
((I'm thinking of doing Bane but I'm trying to work that it and Jason's death.)) |
((Oh, true. To keep up with the timeline, Jason should die in the next few months or so...God I hated typing that.))
"Damian? Are you okay? You look like you have a tummy ache." |
