Laying down next to Lori, Bruce turned so that he was facing her. "I promise. I'll be right here." He said.

Lori cuddled against him and easily fell asleep one hand holding his shirt so he couldn't go anywhere if he tried.

Lori was in the training room with Damien who was teaching her how to handle a sword. She had been off since she had gotten back from the hospital training harder and getting angry easier. Damien was starting to get worried about her wondering what she was thinking.

Jason opened the door and grinned at her. "Hey you...did you walk all the way here?" he frowned at her. "Aren't you suppose to be being careful?"

"Alright. Damien's up in the training room." Jason let her in. "I think Lori's up there with him."

As Rose got there Lori aggressively whipped a dagger at Damien who ducked out of the way just in time. "Oh Damien I'm sorry." Lori gasped and checked him over. "I'm fine. Look Rose is here." He went over to Rose. "Watch her." He whispered and went to find Bruce realizing it was time he told his father about Lori.

"It took a little being but yes Damien's helping me learn." Lori smiled at her. "I'm learning something else that well...never mind." she smiled and picked up the dagger throwing it at the target sighing when it fell short.

Damien found Bruce with ease. "Dad." he stopped in front of him. "I think there's something going on with Lori."

Rosemary frowned slightly. Something about this was familiar. It kind of reminded her of herself after Jason had been killed. She walked over and picked up the dagger. "You're going to kill her, aren't you?" She asked quietly.

Bruce had been on his way up the stairs when Damian found him. "With Lori? What do you mean?" He asked, instantly worried.

Lori flushed. "I won't...at least not..." She looked away and swallowed shaking. "She would deserve it for everything she's done. I just haven't decided if I want to stab her or shoot her." Her face was twisted with rage and she threw a dagger this one sank into the target impeding into the wall.

"I think she's either losing her mind or...well come look." Damien pulled him to the training room just in time to see Lori throw another dagger this one hit a picture of Talia which had not been there when he left.

Rosemary flinched slightly, then nodded. "I understand." She said. "I won't say anything." She wasn't sure what else to say, but she knew she wasn't going to get in the way. Lori had to work things out for herself, like Rose had.

"Wha-" Bruce huffed, surprised at being pulled along. "When did you get that strong?" He asked, but didn't listen for the answer. He was too busy staring at the impaled picture. "Lori...?" He said slowly.

Lori turned at the sound of her name and froze another dagger in her hand. "Traitor." She glared at Damien who took Rose's hand.

"Let's take that as a hint to run." Damien pulled Rose away. "Want to go to the mall?"

Rosemary squeaked as she was pulled away. "U-um...okay. But we'll have to walk slow." She said, sounding unhappy with that fact. She didn't want to take it easy, but she had no choice.

Bruce raised his eyebrow. "Lori, are you okay?" He asked, ignoring the two teenagers running away.

"Never better." Lori went back to practicing managing to hit the target a slightly scary pleased look on her face.

"Well Jason will drive us and I'll let you have my credit card so you can buy whatever you want." Damien grinned and looked to Jason. "Just assume I'll drive" he grumbled and grabbed a set of keys stalking to one of the cars.

Bruce sighed. "Lori...you know you can talk to me, right? If something's bothering you..." He offered with a strained smile. He was worried about her, but he was positive that saying the wrong thing would make things worse.

Rosemary rolled her eyes. "Oh, please, Damian! Since when have I cared about buying stuff?" It was true. She liked going to the mall, but she never came back with anything. Offering to let her buy whatever she wanted was kind of insulting. "Don't treat me like a common gold digger. You know me better than that. I don't care about money, and you can't use it to make me happy."

Damien dropped her hand like it was hot he glared at the wall. He was tired of her bring that up every time he offered to get her something or when he bought her a birthday present. He felt the mean words forming in his mind ready to spring forth but with effort he took a breath. "Can't you just say no thanks and not bring that up?" he gave her a look.

"I don't want to talk." Lori glared at him and went back to throwing daggers at the target. "Just leave me alone."

"Can't you just stop using your money as a crutch?" Rosemary fired back. She knew what he was thinking, that she always brought this up, but she didn't. She had money to buy things for herself, which was why she didn't let him buy for her, and she got upset once on her birthday because he got her a Barbie doll. He was always trying to buy her off like she was some girly, dress-loving pink-wearing fluffhead. "Why can't you ever just treat me like a normal person instead of like a girl? What if I want to just be one of the guys?" It wasn't even about the money. He mother worked hard to make sure they had enough to live by, and even though they weren't rich, Rosemary could buy whatever she wanted at any given time. She simply didn't like shopping. But Damian didn't understand that. He thought since she was a girl, she must like shopping and getting stuff and dresses. "I'm not Martha, Damian. I'm not Lori. I'm Rosemary. I'd have a lot more fun playing video games than shopping."

Bruce clenched his teeth. "Even if you don't want to talk, I think you need to. Lori, you're going down a bad path here." He warned.

"Are you using Martha, a five year old who doesn't even know what money is as an example?" Damien stared at her. "Besides it's not like I'm offering to buy you cloths. Lord knows I don't even like going shopping for my own cloths." He scowled. "I don't use it as a crutch. What isn't going to ever charity possible I give to the homeless on the street. Again why can't you just say no thanks? Is that so hard to say?" He scowled.

Lori growled and turned on him. "I don't care!" She pushed past him and rushed downstairs. She barreled past Damien who nearly fell over as he scrambled out of the way. She got in one of the cars and took off. Damien blinked after the car and looked at Jason who shrugged.

"Why are you making this about money?!" Rosemary asked, exasperated. "You don't get it at all, do you? I'm asking you to stop treating me like a girl!" She turned away from him, sniffling. She didn't want him to see her cry. "All I meant was that it makes me feel like I'm...less than you. When you offer to let me buy stuff, like that's all it takes to make me happy. A shopping spree doesn't make me happy. Spending time with you makes me happy. And when I'm feeling useless, like I am now, your immediate answer is always "here, let's go shopping." Why can't your answer ever be "let's go play laser tag" or "wanna watch an action movie?" I have no problem at all spending money on those things. Shopping is boring." Her last words were drowned out by Lori barreling past, which sent her falling against the stairs. "Ow, damnit!"

Bruce ran after Lori, stopping only when he realized that the car was already pealing away. Hearing cursing from behind him, he turned to see Rosemary struggling to stand up. "I'm going after Lori. Jason, I'll need your help to look for her. Damian, stay here with Rosemary in case she comes back. Rosemary, you are not to leave this house. No sneaking out, no questions." As soon as he finished talking, he was out the door and in another car, taking off after Lori.

Jason followed Bruce leaving Damien and Rose there. "What was that about?" He helped Rose to her feet. "Seems like she was worse then I thought." He frowned. "You alright?" He glanced at Rose.

Lori barreled threw town stopping only once to rip out the cars tracking device. She eventually found herself at Ivy's forest and rushed inside knowing that Bruce wouldn't be able to follow her. She found Ivy tinkering with one of her plants and collapsed against her. Ivy held her and smoothed her hair back letting her cry.

Rosemary winced as Damian helped her up. "Yeah, I'm...ow." She said, bending down to rub her leg. "So much for being able to walk again. I've never seen auntie look so...I don't know. I hope she's okay."

In his haste, Bruce forgot completely about the tracking device. He simply drove in the direction she had gone, looking for her. He slammed on the breaks as he passed Ivy's forest, realizing where she must have gone. He couldn't go in there, so she was totally safe from him...but he knew someone else who could go in. Gunning the engine, he made his way to Gemini's apartment.
