"Oh please I get sqwimish when I have to kill a bug. There's no way I could kill Talia." Lori rolls her eyes. "He doesn't know you very well does he?" she smiled. "You would never kill. You let Joker live and he knows that."

Bruce's expression darkened. "Yes, I let Joker live, but Damian didn't." He said. "I knew that Damian called Ra's that night, and I let it happen. Ra's knows it, too. The point is, we are the first target."

"True." Lori sighed. "Why didn't you stop Damien? Not that you could have had you tried." she frowned a little.

Damien sat with Rose in his room. "Grandfather will show up soon I'm sure." he sighed.

Bruce looked away, guilt all over his face. "I...after what he did, I wanted him dead so badly..." He cleared his throat. "It was a way to have him die without being responsible for it. I regret that decision...constantly..." He had been able to hide it well, but the guilt over it had plagued him for years.

Rosemary nodded. "Will you confront him?" She asked, knowing there was a good chance that the answer was yes.

"Of course. If it means I have to take him on so be it. I have him out numbered anyways. Even Alfred would help so he better tread carefully when he appears."

Lori sighed. "I know Bruce. Did you hear about Superman yet?" she asked completely changing the subject.

Rosemary made a face. She didn't like the idea, but she knew it wasn't her call to make. "You know I'll be right next to you, too, right? And there's nothing you can say to make me change my mind."

Bruce looked over at Lori, slightly surprised by the change of subject. He had almost expected her to scold him- he knew he deserved it. He shook his head. "No. What about him?" He asked.

"Well I heard on the news the other day that he had destroyed half of Metropolis." Lori smirked. "At least you don't cause to much damage when you fight your bad guys."

"Of course. There's no one else I would want as my right hand man...girl." Damien blinked.

Bruce shook his head, sighing. "No matter how many times we talk, he never listens. The man has no interest in learning to control himself." He said.

Rosemary chuckled. "Good, 'cause no one else is ever going to be." She said. Shyly, she leaned over and gave him a very quick, barely there kiss on the cheek.

Damien's face turned bright pink and he sat staring at the wall at a lose for words. "I uh...Your moms probably wondering where you are." he mumbled blushing more.

"He's not all bad though." Lori smiled. "Lois and I where thinking of making a club for the girlfriends or wives of superheros who have to powers of our own. So far it Lois, Pepper, Mary, Jane and myself." she smirked.

Rosemary giggled. "She's the one who sent me here in the first place, Damian. She knows where I am." She said. "Of course, if you want me to go..."

Bruce shrugged. "I see nothing wrong with that. Honestly, I think I'll feel better knowing you're hanging out with a bunch of other people. I don't like leaving you alone." Part of him wondered how Gemini would react to this, considering it was very rarely that she and Lori did anything separately.

"It wouldn't be every day." Lori mused. "But it would be nice to swap stories." she grinned. "Jane's are the most exciting. She gets to visit other planets. Not that I don't love going place's with you but some of those planets." she sighed in wonder.

"No I don't want you to go." Damien smiled at her. "I'm just going to have to get use to you touching me." he kissed her forehead gentle.

Bruce chuckled. "I'd get you there if I could." He said. "Maybe I should look into interdimensional travel. Shouldn't be too hard." He joked.

Rosemary smiled brightly, a faint pink blush on her cheeks. "It can't be that difficult." She said. "I mean, we grew up together. It's not like I've never touched you before."

"Yeah lets not blow up the manor." Lori snorted and rolled her eyes. "So...what know?" she asked. "Enjoy the peace and quiet for a while I hope." she spotted movement behind him and made a face. "Hi Clark." she greeted earning a frown from Clark Kent who at the moment was Superman. "What it's not like everyone in the manor doesn't know." she huffed.

Damien stared at her. "You have no idea the power you have over me. Even right know it's talking all my will power not to push you onto my bed and kiss you till you forget your own name."

"Peace and quiet sounds-dammit." Bruce cut himself off with a sigh as he saw Clark. "Hello, Clark. Is there something we can do for you?" He asked.

Rosemary blinked, pulling back slightly in surprise. It was so easy for her to be around him- she felt comfortable and trusted him completely. "Oh. Well then." She blushed, suddenly imagining what he had just described. "I'll try to be more careful, then."

"I need to talk to you alone." Clark looked at Lori who rolled her eyes and walked inside. "The JLA needs to get together. A villain is on the lose." he sighed a little. "It's just Wonder Woman, you and me right now."

"It's alright." Damien grinned. "Just remember that imagine that when you kiss me." he squeezed her hand a little.

Bruce sighed. "And you couldn't tell me this in front of Lori?" He shook his head. "I'll make arrangements here and then come meet you. We'll talk more about it then."

Rosemary blushed a little and nodded. "Okay. I'll remember." She said. "Hey...do you hear that?" She stood up and went to the window. "Damian, check it out! Clark's here, and in full costume. Something big must be going on."

"Which means that we get to have control of Gotham." Damien grinned. "Jason, you and myself." he flopped backwards. "Should be fun."

"Bruce... know what Lori did." Clark sighed. "I won't say anything but be careful." he flew off to find the other JLA members.

Rosemary smiled brightly. "Yes!" She had always wanted to try her hand without Bruce watching her every move. This was her chance to prove that she could handle things on her own.

Bruce glared after Clark. "Always runs away before I can speak." He muttered, turning to go inside.

"I want you to take it easy at first." Damien squeezed her hand. "I don't want you getting hurt again."

Lori was making cookies Martha playing with a spoon and pan at her feet. "What did superjerk want?"

Rosemary glanced over at him, ready to tell him off- but stopped when she saw his expression. He was actually worried about her, not just being a mother hen. Her expression softened. "Alright. I'll start off slow. But only for you." She said.

Bruce sighed. "A situation has come up. I have to meet with the others as soon as possible." He knelt down and kissed Martha on the head. "Tell Jason he's in charge, Damian and Rosemary are to answer to him. I'll be back as soon as I can. Martha, be good for mommy, okay? I'll bring you back a new doll."

Lori snorted and glanced at Bruce. "You know they aren't going to be happy to have to listen to Jason. Though knowing him he'll let them do what they want so long as they come home." Martha smiled at Bruce "ok daddy." she went back to playing.

"Good." Damien smiled at Rose and stood. "Lets go see who's in charge. Probably Jason." he pouted.

"Good girl." Bruce patted Martha's head and stood back up. "They're going to have to deal with it. He's the oldest, he has the most experience." He moved over slightly to kiss Lori. "Please be careful while I'm gone. I wasn't kidding about Ra's...he'll come after you just to hurt me. He's vengeful like that."

Rosemary smiled and stood up. "I don't mind if Nii-san is in charge. He won't be too harsh on us." She said.

"Yeah but I'm old enough to be in charge know." Damien sighed. "Your right of course." he headed downstairs. "Hey dad." he greeted.

Lori kissed Bruce back and smiled at him. "I'll be careful if your careful."

"I'll be careful." Bruce promised. Right then, Damian and Rosemary appeared from upstairs. He had wondered how long it would be before he'd have to face them. "Rose, Damian..." He sighed. "There's a lot going on, but...Rosemary, would you mind staying here for a moment? I need to talk to Damian alone."

Rosemary had expected Bruce's request as soon as they got downstairs. He would definitely want to talk to his son. "Of course, I'll just play with Martha." She said, her voice understanding.

"What are we talking about?" Damien blinked at Bruce pretending he had no idea what it could be.
