Damien let her pay for there snacks though. He took her hand and lead the way to the theater where they sat watching the movie.

"It was really cool wasn't it." Damien grinned at Rose. "I'm just pleased you liked it." he kissed her hand.

"That's just like you." Damien smiled and waved to Jason who was pulling up. "You hungry? We could to grab a bite to eat."

Lori who was watching t.v. froze when someone dressed as the Joker appeared. She quickly started recording it and called Bruce praying he would pick up.

Rosemary's stomach growled, answering for her and making her laugh. "Apparently the answer is yes, I'm hungry." She said.

Bruce was surprised when his phone went off and it was Lori. He picked it up. "Hello? What's wrong?" Something must have been wrong if she called him while he was on JLA business.

"You need to come back now. Not tomorrow, not after csi, now." Lori couldn't hide the panic in her voice. She was talking on the house phone while she used her phone to text Jason to get his ass home.

"Sorry kids but I just got a message from Lori and it has bad language so something must be wrong." Jason showed them the message.

Bruce nodded, feeling a sudden panic. If Lori was this upset, it was definitely something to worry about. "I'm on my way." He said, then hung up and went for his car. He sent a message to Clark and started driving.

Rosemary looked at the phone and gasped. "Whoa, she did swear! Let's get a move on, go go go!" She jumped into the car and buckled up.

Lori started to pace and go threw there emergency plans. She started locking the extra windows, had Alfred change the lock code to the batcave twice, she even went as far as moving Martha's bed into there bedroom. As soon as Jason entered with the others she slammed the door shut and locked that as well.

"Lori are you alright?" Damien saw the sheer panic on her face and the fact that she was turning purple. "Breath." he urged taking her hand.

"Yes. Oh God I forgot about Gemini. You have to get her here." Lori was pacing again. "Breathe." Damien reminded her. "Where is your father?" Lori started to toy with her hair a sure sign she was freaking out. "Tell your mom to hurry.'' Damien looked at Rose worried Lori would pass out especially when she started to hyperventilate. "Breathe." Damien grabbed her arm looking around for something that would calm her down. He picked up Martha and handed her to Lori almost at once she stopped hyperventilating.

Rosemary whipped out her phone and started dialing before Lori even finished speaking. By the time Damian had handed Martha over, she was done on the phone. "She's on her way right now."

Bruce pulled to a screeching halt in the driveway and went straight for the door. Finding it locked, he knocked sharply. Even as he was knocking, he saw Gemini running up to him. "Do you know what's going on?"

Gemini shook her head. "Not a clue. I just got a call from Rose that Lori is panicked over something."

Damien opened the door watching Lori pace behind him. "Bruce!" Lori slammed into him passing Martha to Damien who blinked a little. "Thank God your back!" she dragged him into the parlor talking a mile a minute. "He's back. Your not going to believe me but it's his voice. Oh God Bruce what are we going to do?" she started the video.

"You aren't making any sense Lori." Damien frowned then froze when he saw the video. "Oh shit."

Gemini followed them in, making sure to lock the door behind them. She was confused as all get out, until she spotted the video. The blood drained from her face and she stumbled backwards.

Bruce swore under his breath and hugged Lori close to him. "How...? It's not possible. He's dead. He was..." He looked at Damian. "That wasn't my imagination, right?"

Rosemary had seen the video at this point, and was pacing, thinking furiously. Was this some kind of punishment? She had failed to kill the man who'd fathered her, who had killed Jason, who had caused them all so much pain. She was being punished for her failure, she was sure of it. They'd never be free of him.

"No I heard it too." Damien swallowed. "Grandfather promised me on his honor." he growled. "He gave me proof. How did that bastard manage to survive?"

Lori buried her head in Bruce's shoulder shivering. "I've been traking him as well as fortifying the manor. Alfred is at the computer analysing the video but it's his first crime almost to the tee."

Bruce shook his head. "I don't understand." He said, trying not to look as shaken as he felt. "I can't figure out how, but...he's back. Or at least it looks that way. Until we figure out what's going on, we'll have to treat this the way it looks. We'll be on high alert. No one goes out alone."

Gemini nodded. "Right. High alert. No one alone. Got it..." She was too busy worrying about Rosemary to really register what else was going on around her.

Rosemary had stopped pacing, and was now holding herself up by one arm leaning against the wall. Her expression darkened, and she slammed her fist into the wall. "Not this time." She muttered to herself.

"Do you think he's recreating his last crimes?" Damien frowned a little. "If so there are a lot of people in danger. We should split up and..."

"NO!" Lori shook her head. "I don't care what happens. You aren't putting yourself in his path not again." she didn't think her heart could take the stress.

"I agree." Bruce said, and not just because the idea made him want to throw up. "We can't risk splitting up at this point. Honestly, we can't do much at all until we figure out what he's doing."

"We should make a few calls." Rosemary suggested. "Mom and Auntie are still friends with the other villain women. They have connections. They might know something."

Gemini nodded. "That's actually a good idea, if for no other reason than to warn them." She said.

"Should we call in Tim and Richard?" Jason asked. Lori was toying with her hair feeling like she was gaining grey hair by the second "I don't think you should confront him at all." she bite her lip.

"We have to Lori. We have to protect Martha and you." Damien took her hand squeezing it. "You could just come with me when I go shopping." Lori started to cry.

"Yes, we should call them. Any help we can get. We should at least warn them...I don't trust that he won't go after them." Bruce said, starting to pace. "As much as I don't want to, Lori...we will have to confront him at some point. And probably soon. We can't stay in hiding forever- he won't let us. He'll come after us at home. And I refuse to let that happen."

Lori stood and ran off tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Lori" Damien frowned and then sighed. "Poor Lori." he looked at Rose. "How are you holding up?" he asked going over to her. "We'll get him. He makes it easy to find him...not that, that's a good things with him."

Bruce reached out to stop Lori, but paused. She would need time. There was really nothing else he could do at the moment. Still, he worried about her, so he followed her quietly.

Rosemary shook her head, though it wasn't clear what that meant. "I just...I don't know what to do. I thought I was finally free of him, but..."

Lori was in there room shoving stuff in her suitcase and Martha's baby suitcase as she cried. She tossed the first one on the floor and stepped on it as she struggled to close it.

"I thought so to...he promised me. I swore on his honor that he would destroy him for us." Damien growled. "This just proves that I can't trust him."

"...Lori?" Bruce asked quietly, worried. "What are you doing?"

Rosemary sighed. "I just...this would be so much easier if I didn't know...that he was my..." She couldn't say the word father. "Part of me...a huge part...still wants to kill him. I know it's wrong, but..." She was shaking.

"I'm going to stay with my parents. I'm not going to stay here and watch you get yourself killed or one of the kids. I can't do it again Bruce. I can't sit here and wonder if that will be the day you bring one of them home dead or worse that they'll bring you home dead." Lori felt tears blur her vision and she brushed them away.

"We all hate him and with good reason. He's destroyed homes, murdered, and worse." Damien frowned softly. "If we have the chance I won't let father stop me. I will rip out his heart myself just to make sure this time he dies."
