Rosemary chuckled. "Exactly. So we'll be fine." She said.
|
Damien finished eating and sat back with a sigh. "Fast food is the best but Lori's cooking tops everything." he nodded. "I get so spoiled with her and Alfred cooking."
|
Rosemary nodded as she finished up her soda. "That's true. It's amazing you're able to eat fast food at all, after living with their cooking for so long." She said. "I want Lori to teach me how to cook. I'm great at baking, because my mom taught me, but I want to be able to cook for you."
|
"She would love to teach you. Just don't let dad help you." Damien shivered. While Bruce could cook he often set things on fire and would serve it burnt.
|
Rosemary laughed. "I wouldn't. I've seen some of his finished dishes." She said, lovingly teasing. "I want to cook food, not charcoal."
|
Damien chuckled. "I've never seen anyone who sucks at cooking like he does. He can't even get cereal right half the time."
|
"At least he tries." Rosemary said, giggling. "So, are we ready to head back?"
|
"I'm ready when you are." Damien stood with holding any comment about his father's lack of cooking skills. "I'm just glad mom and grandfather showed me the basics of I would be just like dad."
|
Rosemary stood as well and took his hand. "I guess we're both pretty lucky, huh?"
|
"That we are." Damien held the car door open for her.
|
((Should we skip ahead a little?))

((sure to the wedding?))

((Okay sounds good))
The wedding day dawned warm and sunny, with a cool breeze blowing. Rosemary smiled as her mother helped her put on her wedding dress, a beautiful, simple white affair with a sweetheart neckline and pearls sewn into the waist. Her hair was done in an elegant up-do, giving it a slightly windswept look. The whole morning seemed to pass by in a whirlwind until suddenly she was there, at the wedding, waiting for the music that would cue her walk down the aisle. Bruce stood at Rosemary's side, as he would be the one walking her down the aisle. He felt a sense of pride for both her and Damian that they had grown up so well. Gemini did her best not to cry tears of happiness. She gave Rosemary a hug and told her she loved her, then went to stand with the other bridesmaids. |
Lori sighed. "Your so beautiful Rosey." she joined Gemini looking out she nodded. "Everythings ready...Damien looks like he's going to throw up." she chuckled. "Poor boy is nervous." she signaled to the piano player, Alfred, and the music started. Lori ushered the bridesmaid in kissed Martha and went after them. Martha followed a determined look on her face, she was wearing a bright pink dress that had a lot of bows on it and even more poof. She tossed the flowers and even made it to the end of the aisle. She blinked when she noticed she still had some left without a pause she turned and dumped them on the nearest persons lap, that being Ra's.
|
Rosemary watched from the back and snorted, trying not to laugh.
Gemini bit her lip, smiling and trying hard not to giggle at Martha's actions. Bruce just laughed, smiling proudly at his daughter. Once Martha made it to the front, the bridal music started. Clinging tightly to Bruce's arm, Rosemary started down the aisle. When she caught sight of Damian, her breath hitched and she smiled brightly. |
Damien smiled back it was the one and only time he had felt this nervous. He took her from his father and turned to the priest soon he leaned foward and gave her the first kiss of there married life.
Martha clapped loudly grinning. "Yeah I have a sister." |
Gemini sniffled and had to use a tissue to wipe at her eyes. "My little girl is married..."
Bruce clapped along with everyone else, then picked Martha up. "That's right, she's your sister now." Rosemary drew the kiss out as long as she could before it became inappropriate, then pulled away, smiling. |
Damien sighed. "The things you do to me." he turned and smiled at the crowd.
"Time to party." Lori grinned. "To the limo's." "Can't I just take her to a hotel?" Damien pouted. Lori blinked a couple times not sure how to answer. |
Rosemary playfully smacked Damian's shoulder. "Damian!" She laughed. "We have to at least make an appearance. There's still our first dance, and the cake, and the party is going to be fun." She said.
Still carrying Martha, Bruce walked up to the happy couple. "Congratulations, you two. I have someone here who's very excited to see her new sister." He said. Gemini rushed over to them and hugged them quickly, then pulled away to look at them with a watery smile. "Damian, I'm so glad that I can call you my son-in-law. Rosey...you've grown up so quickly. I'm proud of you." |
"We could do a special kind of dance," Damien grumbled then smiled at Martha who was struggling to get free of Bruce. "Cake!" Martha pouted. "Yes we'll get you cake." Damien chuckled "We better go before she starts eating people." he went to walk away but Martha grabbed him. "Carry me big brother!" she demanded. "Alright, Alright jeez." he chuckled and took her from Bruce tucking her in between him and Rose. "Happy?" Martha nodded.
|
Rosemary chuckled slightly and raised a hand to tickle Martha. "Alright now, let's go and get some cake." She looked at Damian pointedly. "We're at least going to see the party we worked so hard to organize."
|
Martha squealed and pouted. "No tickling." She let Damien carry her to the party hall and struggled. "No cake before we cut it." Damien held her tight. "Lets get this over with I don't know how long I can hold her off." he grunted when Martha kicked his side.
|
Rosemary giggled. "Alright, let's do this." She moved to where the cake sat, waiting to be cut. There was dinner for everyone, of course, but there was no way they could hold Martha off long enough to eat dinner first. "Come here, Damian. We're supposed to cut it together."
"And feed it to each other, don't forget that part." Gemini chimed in, making her daughter blush. |
Damien helped her cut it and managed to keep Martha at bay. "Say ahh." he held out the pieced smirking.
Lori quickly cut it while they where doing that and feed everyone a piece letting Martha attack the rest. |
Smirking, Rosemary leaned forward. She knew what was about to happen, but still she opened her mouth. "Ahh."
Gemini held Martha back while the young couple fed each other, letting her go only when they were finished. |
