"Yeah. I'm going to need to protect Ethan aren't I?" Damien chuckled. "This is going to be weird."
"It wouldn't be our family if something weird didn't happen." Rosemary said.
"This is true." Damien snorted. "Can't we have one normal week?" he pouted a little.
"That would be boring." Rosemary said, reaching over to grab his hand. "But, that's our life. Despite all the craziness, I like it. We're all going to be just fine."
"I know." Damien smiled. "We should do something special for our parents. Without them we wouldn't have survived."
Rosemary nodded. "You're right. They deserve something nice."
"What do you get people who have everything?" Damien grimaced. "I always have this problem. They can buy whatever they need. Though Lori loves chocolate and flowers but dad gets her that."
"Maybe...we could give them a vacation? Just take over whatever stuff they usually have to do for a week and let them go wherever they want, with the promise that we won't need them at all." Rosemary suggested.
"Don't we already do that?" Damien sighed. "This is harder then I thought it would be."
Rosemary sighed. "I know. What about..." She trailed off, thinking. "Well, for my mom, either a pet or a boyfriend would be enough. I really...don't know what to do for Auntie Lori and Uncle Bruce."
"I don't think we could get her a boyfriend." Damien laughed. "a pet we could do. I hate buying stuff for those two. When I was younger I would either just make them something by hand or give Lori flowers or a shopping trip and dad a new weapon."
Rosemary chuckled. "I think if we gave your father a new weapon, Auntie Lori would use it to kill us." She said. "What about a second honeymoon? Or have they done that already?"
"They haven't done that yet. Lori says that it doesn't matter." Damien grinned. "That would be perfect and if we could surprise them. Send you mom on a island getaway with her new pet and lots of cute waiters!"
Rosemary smiled, excited. "That's perfect! Okay, let's do exactly that!" She said.
"What should we get her? A dog or cat?" Damien mused. "She seems like a do person but you would know."
"She's definitely a dog person." Rosemary nodded. "We'll go to a shelter and see if we can adopt one in a couple days, after the hospital releases me."
"That is going to be the hard part. Both Lori and your mom will refuse to leaving us until the little ones walking...or a teenage." Damien frowned softly.
"They will once they're tired enough. A week or so with a baby around again, keeping everyone awake, will make them exhausted enough to need some time away." Rosemary said. "And I know my mom will be, too, because there's no way she's going home while her new grandson is at the manor."
"Excellent." Damien smirked evilly. "I'll get the passports and everything ready. You take care of yourself and the baby. Then we can pick out the dog for your mom."
"Works for me." Rosemary said. "The hospital releases me tomorrow, so we'll get to picking the dog then. After we get Todd settled in at home, of course."
"Of course and then the wait begins." Damien chuckled. He smiled at Todd 'You are going to be one spoiled child."
Rosemary smiled as Todd babbled innocently up at his father. "He's telling you a story."
((*Ahem*))
((what even happened I thought I posted.))
"Its a very interesting story." Damien assured Todd happy to listen to him babble. |
((*Shrug* apparently not. Want to skip ahead a little?))
