"Course I am." Sabine grinned at him. "Your food should be ready too, and I seriously doubt anyone's touching it. I'll take this down to Tony, check in with Pepper again, and then maybe I'll actually get some work done before the end of the day."

"You do that," Logan said. He'd already resigned himself to looking after the kids. Clearly, he was the only actual adult around at the moment, short of Sabine.

"Maybe we'll hear from Charles soon," Sabine said, glancing at Logan. "See when they're coming 'round to pick up everyone." Then she grinned. "Since I'm sure in your old age you feel like taking a nap about now."

Logan raised an eyebrow.

"Careful," he said. But he couldn't deny that he was waiting for Charles to contact them.

Sabine grinned but stopped, instead checking on all the kids briefly and taking food to Tony. Then she plopped next to Cam.

"So I'm on living room duty until you guys all head home." She paused for a moment to check where Logan was. "And then I may die of embarrassment, but, you know."

"Die of embarrassment?" Cameron asked, raising an eyebrow. "What happened?" She grinned. "Spill."

"Logan and I left the mansion together, he kept watch and told me to get some sleep, we ended up at my apartment eventually, I think I kind of fell asleep next to him last night?" Sabine shrugged, though her ears were red. "And of course he came to work with me and I've been bossing him around. Because clearly I am a horrible person."

Cameron bit her lip, trying not to snicker.

"I dunno," she said after a moment. "He doesn't seem to mind being bossed around."

Sabine pouted at her, because that was not fair.

"Yeah but now I feel kind of bad. It's not like he asked to be stuck with me."

Cameron raised an eyebrow.

"I've never known Logan to be stuck anywhere," she pointed out. "Ever. He's Logan, he doesn't put up with anything."

Sabine shrugged. "I dunno," she said. "Guess I'm just worried that I'm actually bugging him."

"I don't think you are," Cameron said, shaking her head a bit. "Like I said, Logan doesn't put up with anything. I've never heard of him just going along with something he doesn't like."

Sabine made a face again, because that was true, but she still wasn't sure. And it didn't help that she still had a truly massive crush on the man.

"Well, you guys will probably head back soon, anyway."

"They probably will," Cameron agreed, nodding. "I... might have been invited to hang around?" She glanced at Sabine.

Sabine just shrugged. "Hey, if you want to stay and pester Tony, good for you." She grinned. "I have actual work I have to get back to after everyone else leaves, so don't count on me for entertainment."

Cameron snorted.

"You get paid obscene amounts of money to babysit around here," she pointed out. "Seems to me like you need the entertainment more."

"I get plenty of entertainment. Especially when Pepper has meetings with people who aren't doing their shit. Those meetings are very entertaining." Sabine grinned. "For me."

"I'm sure," Cameron said, a bit dry. She grinned. "Gotta get your kicks somehow, I suppose."

"That's probably one of the signs that I've been working for Pepper for too long, but I don't care." Sabine grinned. "It's way too much fun."

"Well, you go do your thing," Cameron said, nudging her friend. "I'll let you know when the horde moves out."

"Until Charles or whoever arrives, this is my job." Sabine shrugged. She didn't mind, after all.

"Nope, you get paid to wrangle Tony," Cameron said, grinning. "I get room and board to wrangle the kids."

"The occasional wrangling of Avengers and associated others is part of my contract." Sabine shrugged. "Well, one of the amendments to the contract, anyway."

"You can't reasonably be expected to wrangle all of the kids, though," Cameron pointed out. "But if you insist, then I'll come with you to help."

"Oh I'm not wrangling the kids, I'm just supervising to make sure no one gets into anything too bad." Sabine grinned. "So feel free to come with, or go pester Tony."
