Bianca chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, sleep will be good," she murmured. She was quiet for another couple blocks. And then two vans screeched to a halt on the street next to them, several men pouring out. She jumped, looking around to try and figure out what was going on.

Kendra jumped when they were suddenly surrounded, and her hands promptly cracked with electricity.

"What the hell?" she said, moving closer to Bianca.

"Stay quiet," one of the men snarled at the girls. Bianca glared, her own hands starting to crackle with electricity. The men weren't deterred, starting forward and moving to separate the two. They were already well aware of how these two worked.

Kendra waved one of her arms out, sparks dancing along her skin and clothes as she tried to ward the men off.

"Get away," she said. "Leave us alone, we're not hurting anyone."

"Not yet," one of them said, as the other group surrounded Bianca and got her face-down on the ground. "But you will. Freaking mutants." He spat the last word like a curse, even as the rest of the men worked on subduing Kendra.

Kendra struggled hard, discharging electricity whenever she managed to build up enough. She managed to shock one of the guys, and he pulled back with a hiss.

"Damn bitch," he snarled.

"Is that any way to talk to the lady?" Pietro clucked. The guy jerked and looked around, just in time to see a streak of silver as Pietro ran over, clocked him, and ran back to Wanda. "Americans."

Wanda just gave him a bit of a Look, and Pietro shot her a cheeky grin before he went to go hit the other guys holding Kendra.

"More freaks?" the leader said. "Where the hell do you all keep coming from?" He grunted as he was tossed backwards by swirling red energy.

"Now, that wasn't nice," Wanda chided, one hand raised.

"These people have no manners," Pietro said, stopping next to Kendra. He absently kicked one of the guys when the guy went for a stun gun. He glanced back at Wanda. "Should I spoil our friend's fun?" He nodded a bit towards the other group of guys, half of whom had gotten to their feet to deal with the new people.

"Do what you like," Wanda said, rolling her eyes a bit. "I will see to the girls."

Pietro grinned. Too bad for Daredevil, he was too slow. He took out half the men easily, circling back around to briefly make sure everyone around Kendra at least was out cold. Because that could be problematic if one of them got up.

Kendra was staggering to her feet again by that point.

"Who are you?" she asked.

"Just passing through," Wanda replied as she checked on the other girl. "We heard the commotion."

"Ouch," Bianca muttered as she got to her feet again as well. Her cheek was bleeding where she'd scraped it against the concrete. "The hell? What was this about?"

"No need to worry about them anymore," Wanda said, helping the girl to her feet. "It's all taken care of."

"No this really seems like something I should worry about," Bianca said, looking at the nearest guy, who was still twitching a little. "They knew where we were."

"They will not bother you again," Wanda replied. She glanced up at a nearby rooftop, and spotted the familiar black-clothed figure. "I'm sure he will make sure."

"He? He who?" Bianca followed her gaze, and blinked. "The Devil of Hell's Kitchen will be keeping an eye on us? Metaphorically speaking. That is..." She looked at Kendra, because what the actual shit was happening?

Kendra was just as baffled as Bianca, and shook her head.

"I just want to go home," she said. "This is way too much crazy."

Wanda almost told them to go on home, and then stopped.

"You would not be safe there," she said instead, looking at them both. "The ones these men came from, they are waiting for you."

"What do you mean it's not safe?" Bianca asked, her voice rising in pitch.

"If she says it is not safe, it is not safe," Pietro said with a shrug. "Have anywhere else you can stay for a few days?"

"No," Bianca said after a moment. "No, we don't."

"Perhaps our friend could help," Wanda suggested, glancing up at Daredevil again. "He has a habit of offering shelter, as I understand."

Daredevil couldn't just stand there after that, not when Scarlet Witch had blatantly called him out like that. He dropped down to the ground not far from them.

"You know it's bad manners to just offer someone else's services, don't you?" he commented, facing them.

Pietro grinned. "That's what happens when you are late," he said. "You get volunteered for something else."

Bianca just blinked at him because holy shit.

"Does this sound like a good idea to you?" she murmured to Kendra.

"Well, not everyone can live life in the fast lane," Daredevil retorted. "I can't take them."

"But you know someone who can," Wanda pointed out.

Kendra just shook her head a bit.

"I don't know what this sounds like anymore," she murmured back. "Life was normal half an hour ago. What just happened?"

"You take in others from time to time," Pietro pointed out.

Wanda was quiet for a moment. "They would be less noticeable, harder to follow, if they split up," she offered.

"I don't even know." Bianca kicked a guy who was starting to wake up again. "But these people knew where we were, they know where we live apparently." Her hands were starting to tremble.

"I still can't take them," Daredevil repeated. "Even just one." He was quiet for a moment. "But if it is only just one, I might know someone who can."

"Wait a second," Kendra said. Her attention had been grabbed by the words 'split up.' "What do you mean? I won't just leave my sister, not after what just happened."

"She'll be safe," Wanda said, looking between the two. "If you stay together, they will find you again, no matter where you go." She paused, frowning a bit, and little bits of red energy crackled around her fingers. "But if you separate for a few weeks... it is much safer."

"No." Bianca shook her head. "You don't know that, you can't know that."
