Bianca nodded, stepping inside and looking around. She could smell bagels, which was awesome, and coffee, which was also awesome.

"Not bad," she murmured.

"No, but you are the older sibling," Wanda pointed out. "As far as I can tell, it seems older siblings feel responsible for the younger most of the time."

"Ahh, I knew Matt was here," Foggy said, grinning.

"Morning, Foggy," Matt called from the next room. "I brought bagels."

"My sister and I look out for each other," Kendra said. "We have to."

"And Matt's the other lawyer," Bianca said, shaking her head. "Because apparently this is my life now, why not?"

"Yes," Wanda agreed, looking sad. "I suppose so. People aren't exactly fond of mutants right now."

"Just sit down and relax," Foggy said as he set his bag next to the other desk. "Have a bagel. Mattie always gets the good ones."

"Not at all," Kendra murmured, hunching down in her seat some.

"Mattie?" Bianca looked rather delighted. "Mattie and Foggy. There has to be a joke in there somewhere, I swear."

"You're safe here, though," Wanda said gently. "And your sister is safe, I assure you."

Matt snorted a bit.

"There have been a lot of jokes," he said as he came out of the side office. He walked up to approximately where Bianca was and held out his hand directly in front of him. "Matt Murdock."

Kendra just sighed a bit and wrapped her arms around herself.

"I'm worried about her," she murmured.

"Bianca," she said, taking his hand after a brief moment and shaking it. She looked at him for a moment and then smirked. "Anyone made the 'justice is blind' joke yet?"

"You could try texting her," Wanda suggested. "If she's not asleep, I'm sure she'll get back to you."

Matt grinned a bit.

"Yeah," he said. "Several times. Though I made the first one, so it's probably my fault."

Kendra debated internally for a moment and then pulled out her phone.

Did you make it somewhere safe?

"Yeah, you were asking for it with that." Bianca snorted quietly. She checked her phone when it buzzed at her and typed back a quick reply.

Yeah. Devil sent me to lawyers. Okay so far, will call if I need a quick getaway.

"Couldn't be helped," Matt said with a shrug. He gestured towards the side table under the cabinet, where the bagels and coffee were. "Would you like some? After that, you can tell us what we can do for you."

Text me and I'll come find you. After that, Kendra put her phone into her pocket again and just stayed huddled in her seat. Now that she'd had something to eat and knew her sister was alright, everything was starting to hit her at once and tears started to well up in her eyes.

Bianca eyed him for a moment before she moved over to get coffee and a bagel. "Well, don't really know what you can do for me, I'm just trying to keep my head down for a few days."

Wanda blinked when she saw Kendra hunch in on herself. "Kendra?" she asked cautiously.

Matt raised an eyebrow at that and tilted his head a bit towards Foggy. To his credit, Foggy didn't say what he desperately wanted to.

"Apparently, the Devil of Hell's Kitchen decided she needs to lie low," he said instead. "God knows why."

Kendra took a couple of small, shuddering breaths and wiped her face. It didn't help, a few more tears rolled down her cheeks to replace the ones wiped away.

"Sorry," she mumbled.

"Exactly." Bianca rolled her eyes. "So I'm going to find a decently comfortable corner to sit in and stay out of your way since you have actual work to do, I think."

"It's okay," Wanda told her. "I'm sorry, I didn't think of this. I'm... not so good with comforting people." But she did get a box of tissues, setting them by Kendra's elbow.

"Huh," Matt said thoughtfully as he made his way over to the coffee maker and grabbed a mug. "A little outside of his MO, don't you think?"

"What do I know?" Foggy retorted. "Guy runs around in a mask with no eyes, come on."

"I'm sorry," Kendra said again, wiping her face on her sleeve before reaching for a tissue.

Bianca watched the two of them. "Well, we already know he's crazy," she said. "Hard to tell someone's motives when they cover half their face."

"Don't worry about it," Wanda soothed. "It happens to us all. Venting is good, in whatever form it takes."

"See? Like I've been saying, Matt," Foggy said, gesturing to Bianca. "Other people think the same thing."

"I'm just saying, Foggy, he's done some good things for Hell's Kitchen," Matt pointed out calmly, pouring himself some coffee.

Kendra sat there, trying to get herself under control again, but she just couldn't stop the steady flow of tears yet. She kept a tissue in her hand, and just kept wiping her face with it.

Bianca shrugged. "He dragged things to light that people were ignoring before," she said. "Whether or not that's good is still too soon to tell."

Wanda sat quietly with her. She did get up briefly to put the kettle on for tea, but she never left Kendra's field of vision.

"People are still blaming him for blowing everything up," Foggy pointed out.

"He's saved people's lives," Matt pointed out in return.

"That's not the point," Foggy retorted as he poured his own coffee and jammed a bagel into the ancient toaster on the corner of the counter.

"Then what is the point?" Matt asked, raising an eyebrow. There was the faintest smirk on his lips.

"The point is--" Foggy paused, trying to collect his argument better. "The point, Matt, the point is that he's skulking around outside the law, and he's wearing a stupid mask to do it."

Kendra eventually stopped crying, but she still didn't say anything. She did, however, throw away the used tissues and then sit back down at the table quietly.

"Oh please, there's historical precedent for that," Bianca said, because she still kind of liked the devil. "Captain America did that too. Just because it was during a war doesn't mean he didn't wear a mask, and he acted outside the constraints of normal law because, again, war time. Granted, that was a different scale than cleaning up Hell's Kitchen..."

"Tea?" Wanda asked quietly, already pouring water into two mugs. She had her preferred tea out already.

"Different set of circumstances," Foggy pointed out. "Not the same. Matt knows what I mean."

"I also know that Foggy's making a bigger deal out of things than he needs to," Matt added, smirking behind his coffee.

"Sure," Kendra murmured. She didn't even particularly care what kind of tea it was, as long as it was strong and warm.

Bianca held up her hands and settled on the floor with her back against the wall. "Well, then, don't let me interrupt this little lovers quarrel."

Wanda nodded and set a mug in front of her. "It's still hot," she said in warning. "Give it another minute."

"Ignore us," Matt said. "This is normal. Unfortunately, Karen's not here today for you to talk to, I'm sure you'd have enjoyed meeting her."

"Karen's not in today?" Foggy asked, immediately concerned. "Is she okay?"

"She's fine," Matt replied. "She's just a bit overworked, so I told her to take a day."

"Thanks," Kendra said quietly. She toyed with the mug some, just feeling the heat seep into her hands.

Bianca nodded absently. Now that she was out of immediate danger, even with the coffee, she was warm and the adrenaline was fading and she was starting to get tired.

"Well, you two are enough amusement for one day," she said, sitting up and trying to keep herself awake.

Wanda was quiet for a few moments. "Are you feeling better? Or is it too soon yet?"

"Are you alright?" Matt asked, turning towards her. "You sound like you're about to fall asleep."

"I don't know," Kendra mumbled, staring at the tea in the mug so she wouldn't have to look at anyone.

"No! No, I'm good, not falling asleep." Bianca jerked herself upright. "Go back to bickering, that was more fun."

Wanda nodded, sipping her tea slowly.

"I'm going to send Pietro to get some things for you, so you can be more comfortable here."
