*Title and Cast list subject to change as needed (and I couldn't come up with a better title on the fly, lol)
*Warning - Just to cover bases, there may be strong language, blood, violence, m/m romance, cross-dressing, and general tomfoolery of the highest caliber. If any of that bothers you, don't bother to read.

"Here you go, Babette." Radar pet the guinea pig sitting in one of the mail boxes and slipped her some shredded paper. It wasn't anything important, just some old forms to rescind orders that were never sent out, or some sort of army nonsense that he just pretended to understand. The critter was happy to munch on it and her contented noises helped brighten Radar's day. He had such a fondness for all the little fuzzy things.

He got one of those odd feelings that something was about to happen and had grabbed the headset just a split second after it began to ring. His premonitions were odd, but he didn't question it. It was just like how cows lie down before it rains, he figured, they just knew ahead of time.

"MASH 4077, Corporal O'Reilly speaking. Uh... yes sir..." His demeanor quickly dropped from lighthearted to serious and he grabbed a scrap of paper and scribbled some notes on it. "Yes, sir. ..Yes, sir. I understand, sir. Uh, yeah, I'll let him know right away. Goodbye, major... uh, sir." He hastily put the headset back down again and rushed into Henry's office.

"Uh, Colonel Blake, sir? I don't mean to be disturbing whatever importantness you are doing, but we just received an important message from Seoul." He looked worried, so whatever it was had to be bad news. He handed him the slip of paper with details on it. "Fighting has cut our supplies, sir, and they expect we might be without for a week. Would you like me to get HQ on the phone for you and get all the officers in here?" He anticipated Henry's next move and suggested it, although he was wrong on occasion. He shifted nervously and awaited a decision, ready to run off and get started on whatever was necessary.

Meanwhile, on a more lighthearted note and completely unaware of the impending crisis (although, it seemed around here it was either crisis or sheer boredom, which was a problem all its own), Trapper had just come off duty from a post-op shift and waltzed into the Swamp feeling a bit tired, but upbeat. He whistled a little and blew the dust out of a martini glass before filling it with some of their homemade gin. The stuff could kill a man, but it was good for the nerves. He had a hot date tonight with one of the cute little nurses if all went as planned, so he figured he had reason to be a little cheerful. Or at least their friendly flirting in post-op had led him to believe as such.
