"Even more than becoming President?" Lori asked blushing more. "Not that I wouldn't mind you being President."

Roy nodded. "Even more than that. If I had to choose between becoming president and being with you, I'd choose you every time."

"That's a lot of love." Lori smiled and fell silent as there plates appeared. "I love you just as much Roy."

Roy glanced down at the table, blushing. He'd never confessed that feeling to anyone, so finally telling her was a little strange. He looked back up when she spoke. "Really?" He smiled.

"Really." Lori squeezed his hands. "I would even give up my Alchemy for you."

Wow. That was quite a statement. "I'd never ask you to do that, you know." He said. "If it came down to it, I would never want you to choose me first."

"To bad because I would." Lori leaned across the table and kissed him then went to eating her food.

Roy blushed a little and smiled. "Well...thank you." He wasn't sure what else to say, so he focused on his food as well.

When she finished Lori sat back with a happy sigh. "This was a great idea."

Roy nodded, wiping his mouth with a napkin. "I'm glad we came." He said, smiling at her.

"So am I." Lori stretched. "Where to next?" she smiled at him.

Roy smirked. "I was thinking either your place or mine. It's up to you." He said.

"Well there's a cranky cat at mine." Lori laughed. "We may not want to go there."

"That's true." Roy agreed with a chuckle. "My place it is, then."
|
Lori cleaned up her area and stood offering him her hand. "Then shall we?"
|
"Let's." Roy stood and took Lori's hand, smiling at her. He made sure everything was paid and taken care of, then escorted her back towards his apartment.

"What shall we do? Watch a movie maybe?" Lori suggested with a smirk.

Roy glanced at Lori and grinned, deciding to play along. "I suppose we could put a movie on. Not sure how much watching we'll do, though."

"I'm sure we'll watch the whole thing." Lori fired back grinning as they walked. "I want a action movie." She nodded.

"An action movie, huh? I've got plenty of those." Roy said, smirking. "But I think you'll get bored with it quickly. There's so much else to do."

"We'll see." Lori laughed and entered his apartment building taking his key unlocking the door. "Let's see what you have." She went to rummage threw his movies.

Roy pouted a little at being rejected outright, but decided to let it go for the moment. Closing the door behind him, he entered the apartment and went to help Lori sort out the movies. "Some of them are in the wrong cases."

"You have got to organize these movies." Lori smiled a little leaning back against him. She shifted trying to figure out what to do. With a breath she let her hand take his and tilted her head up catching his mouth in a kiss.

Roy was about to answer when he noticed her leaning against him. He forgot what he was going to say when she took his hand. And when she kissed him, he decided whatever it was probably wasn't important anyway. He kissed her back, gently, as if he were afraid he might scare her away.

Lori leaned into the kiss hands sliding up around his neck so she could pull him closer.
