Roy slid his arms down and behind Lori's back, helping to pull her closer and deepening the kiss.

Lori woke the next morning curled against Roy with her head on his chest at once she blushed smiling a little.

Al woke with a groan and stumbled out into the kitchen to get something to drink mumbling about late nights and being to young to feel old.

Roy was still fast asleep, holding Lori close like a teddy bear. His face was relaxed in sleep, making him look younger and more innocent.

Gemini was already up and making breakfast when Al stumbled out. She turned to look at him. "Are you okay? You're allowed to sleep in sometimes, you know."

"I'm fine.' Al shrugged. " or I will be once I eat." He licked his lips. "Smells good."

Lori giggled. "Your so cute when your asleep." She kissed him gentle.

Gemini chuckled. "Glad you think so. I made waffles and bacon, and there's plenty of milk and orange juice too." She said.

Roy woke to a kiss, which was pleasantly surprising. He opened his eyes to see Lori and smiled. "Good morning." He said.

"Morning. Sorry about waking you." Lori frowned "you just looked so cute and innocent." She smirked.

Al nodded. "Milk is good for growth...as much as brother hates it." He chuckled and dug in with gusto.

Roy shrugged. "It's fine. I would have woken up soon anyway." He said. "How are you feeling?"

Gemini sat down across from him with her own plate. "I know. That's why I keep it around, cause I'm hoping I'll eventually get taller, too."

"I think you're just the right height." Al blushed softly. "I'm going to stop talking before I make a fool of myself."

Lori blushed darkly. "I'm better then I have been in a long time."

Gemini's cheeks turned pink and she looked up at him, startled. "N-no, that's okay...if you think so, then maybe I won't be in such a rush to get taller." She said, her cheeks darkening to red as she spoke.

Roy smiled and planted a light kiss on Lori's forehead. "Really? I'm glad to hear that." He said.

Al grinned glad he had made her happy. "I'll have to compliment your height more often he teased.

"That was amazing by the way." Lori smiled at him.

Gemini's blush went just a shade darker as she smiled. "I guess I wouldn't mind that." She muttered.

Roy blushed a little and gave a dazzling grin. "I'm really glad to hear that." He said. "But you're the one who was amazing."

Lori blushed as well. "I'm happy to hear that." she chuckled. "Shall we get up? I have a cat who will eat me out of food if I don't feed her."

Al smirked and went back to eating amazed at how much he was enjoying himself.

Roy chuckled. "Sure. I wouldn't want you to come home to no food." He said, stretching.

Gemini smiled contentedly as she finished her breakfast. She couldn't believe how natural it felt, sitting with him like this.

"What would you like to do today?" Al asked. "I'll pay for it."

Lori got out of bed and changed. "I could always come steal your's." She teased with a smirk.

Gemini looked up and shrugged. "Oh, um...I don't know. You don't have to do that." She said, blushing again. "I guess we could go for a walk or something. I don't really know what there is to do here."

Roy changed into his regular clothes. "Well, if that gives me an excuse to have you over, I wouldn't mind." He teased back, though he was only half kidding.

"I'll come over anyways." Lori promised. "I'll just have to run home to feed the pest." She chuckled. "I feel kind of bad leaving right after though." She sighed

Al smiled. "A walk sounds great. We can check everything else. We'll have to dress light since it's hot out."

"I'll come with you back to your place." Roy offered. "At the very least, I'll walk you back and you can meet me for dinner later."

Gemini nodded, smiling. "Okay. I'll go get dressed." She said. She stood up and put her plate in the sink, then went to get some clothes on.

"Two dates in a row?" Lori teased. "What's the occasion?"

Al watched her go and blushed. "Mind out of the gutter Al." he mumbled to himself.

Roy shrugged. "I didn't say it was a date, exactly. Just dinner. Unless you'd like it to be a date." He blushed a little. "Whatever you want."

Gemini came back a few minutes later, dressed in a flowing blue-green sundress and white sandals. Her arms were bare, which was unusual for her, and her hair was tied back. "All ready!"

"Great." Al had changed into something light as well and followed along. "Lead the way." he encouraged.

"Well I think since we are a couple it can always be called a date." Lori smiled a little. "I'm we'll figure it out." she lead the way to her apartment and let herself in feeding her cat.

Gemini nodded. "Okay." She said, leading the way out of the apartment. It was hot out, but it was a beautiful day. Squinting in the bright sunlight, Gemini picked a random direction and started walking.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Roy said, following Lori back to her place. He waited until she had fed the cat before giving her a bow. "I suppose I should be going. I'll see you later tonight?"

Lori hugged him. "I wish you didn't have to go." She pouted up at him.

Al followed her hand eventually slipping around hers. He was shocked at how right it felt to hold her hand and to let his shadow shade her from the sun a little.

Looking down at Lori's adorable pout, Roy broke down. "I don't really have anywhere to be...I guess I could stick around for a while." He said.

Gemini was both surprised and pleased when she felt Al take her hand. Normally, she didn't like people touching her, but for some reason this time it felt...natural. Like her hand was made to fit into his. She glanced up at him and smiled.

Al smiled back "you know your lucky. My shadow is just long enough to hid you from the sun. I wish I was still that small I have to use building shadow to hid from the sun."

Lori grinned at Roy and pulled him into her apartment. She felt lonely when he wasn't with her and her cat never seemed to want to cuddle with her.

Gemini chuckled. "I don't think I've ever felt lucky to be short before." She said. "Oh, I know!" She reached into her ever-present bag and pulled out a wide-brimmed straw hat. "I brought this just in case, and since I've already got shade, it'll work perfect for you." She reached up- standing on her tip toes to reach- and put the hat on his head. "There. Is that better?"

Roy chuckled lightly as he was pulled inside. "Okay...so what do you want to do?" He asked.
