"I maybe a little jealous of Riza." Lori blushed a little. "I see you two taking and I just want to pin you to a wall and kiss you silly."
"Please do." Al groaned. "I'm fine just a stuffed" |
Roy was tempted to joke that he should talk to Riza more often, but decided against it. "She's an old friend, that's all. You're the one I love, and you always will be."
"Is there anything I can do?" Gemini asked. |
"Make sure to have a bucket ready." Al joked. "I feel sick." He let his head fall to the table. "I may need to go for a run to burn off the calories."
"I know. I just can't help feeling jealous. Is it weird?" Lori sighed. |
Gemini patted his back sympathetically. "Just take deep breaths and you'll be okay in a minute." She advised.
"I don't really know." Roy said honestly. "I don't know much about jealousy." |
"Well I could start flirting with guys so you know." Lori suggested smiling like she had just solved all the world's problems.
"OK." Al took deep breaths. "Better." He smiled. "Your smart and cute." |
Roy instantly sat up. "No way!" He said, then blinked in realization. "Oh...I see what you did there. Okay. Jealousy. I understand now."
Gemini blushed and smiled. "If you're doing better now, why don't we head out? We can walk for a while to work off that meal." She said. |
Al smiled and stood leaving the money on the table. "Walking it off sounds good." He stretched. "Shall we?" He offered his hand.
Lori laughed and patted his arm. "See? It's not fun is it?" She smirked. |
Gemini blushed and took his hand, standing as she did. "Let's." She replied.
Roy pouted. "No, it's not." He said. "At least I'm not trying to make you jealous. Meanie." |
"I just wanted you to know how it felt." Lori sighed. "I'm not going to go off flirting unless it's with you."
Al kept a firm hold on her hand as they walked a soft smile on his face. "We must look like a great couple." |
Roy seemed to be satisfied with that. "Well, good." He said.
Gemini blushed brighter. "Yeah, I guess." She said. "Oh!" She stopped as a tiny meow sounded behind them. "The kitten! I almost forgot." She tugged Al back to the kitten and put a small scrap of chicken down in front of it. "That's all I can give you for now, but I promise I'll come back later, okay?" She told it. The kitten looked at her as if to say "I'm not going anywhere." Which made Gemini smile. "Okay, let's go." She said, standing back up. |
Lori kissed him gentle. "I suppose we should get up." She sighed. "I'm awfully comfortable though."
Al smiled at the kitten. "Poor thing." He sighed. "Why are there so many cats around here in the first place?" |
"Hmm..." Roy nodded. "That is a dilemma. Is there any real reason we have to get up?" He asked.
Gemini shook her head sadly. "This area has a lot of restaurants. A lot of restaurants means a lot of dumpsters, which means a lot of strays looking for food." |
"None that I get think of." Lori snuggled closer. "Let's stay like this."
"Poor things." Al frowned. "I just don't get it." he sighed. "So what do you want to tomorrow?" |
Roy smiled, feeling like he'd won a small victory. "I'd be happy to." He said.
Gemini shrugged. "Maybe there's a library nearby where we can do some research." |
"I meant as a date but the library sounds like a good date spot." Al smiled.
"Your comfortable. You knowing that?" Lori sighed happily. "What are we doing to do when you become president? I won't have you all to myself." She pouted. |
Gemini blushed. "O-oh, I didn't realize...s-sorry..." She stammered, feeling incredibly foolish.
"I'll make time for you. I promise." Roy said. "Even if I have to pull you into my office, lock the door and..." He left the sentence unfinished. |
"I think it will be fine." Al smiled. "We can still hold hands, and share notes." He shrugged. "I don't mind."
Lori blushed softly and smiled. "I'm OK with that." She kissed his cheek. |
Gemini's blush subsided a little, and she smiled. "That...actually sounds pretty nice." She giggled. "You know, I don't know anyone else on the planet who would think the library is a good date. I'm starting to think we're perfect for each other." She had said the words before thinking about them, but once they were out she blushed wildly and clapped a hand over her mouth.
Roy pulled Lori a little closer, smiling happily. "Has anyone ever told you you're perfect?" He said. |
"I think so to." Al smiled at her. "But we'll have to go on more dates just to make sure." he smirked a little.
"I'm far from perfect." Lori blushed softly. |
Gemini grinned. "Right, of course. I like that idea." She said.
Roy shook his head. "You're absolutely perfect." He insisted. |
"Great." Al smiled. "We can do something almost everyday and on non dating dates we ca just hold hands."
"No I'm not." Lori sighed. "I'm just not." |
"I like the way you think." Gemini said with a bright smile.
"Okay, if you insist." Roy said with a sigh. "But you're perfect for me." |
"Thanks." Al blushed and opened there apartment door for her. "Here you are." He smiles at her.
"That I can handle." Lori chuckled and stretched out. |
"Thank you." Gemini echoed, stepping into the apartment. She heard a small, squeaky sound from outside and turned around to see the kitten from the café, waiting outside their door. "Did...did you follow us home?"
"Good, because I'm pretty happy about it." Roy said, yawning. |
"We can't..." Al grimaced. "What do we do?" he sighed.
"We should star working on a plan for what your going to do as President." Lori frowned. |
