"So long as we don't have to watch Lori and Roy make out." Al blinked. "OK I might even be able to stand them kissing for a little while."

Gemini laughed. "I wouldn't mind seeing them kiss, but once they start making out I'm outta there." She said.

''Agreed." Al blushed. "I wonder it people see us that way when we kiss." he mused frowning a little. "Probably."

Gemini blushed and chuckled. "I don't know. I mean...no one we know has seen us kiss." She pointed out. In fact, they hadn't kissed more then a few times since they'd started dating.

"Well we could ask Lori." Al grimaced. "She would be make fun of us for a long time after though."

Gemini's blushed deepened. "I, uh...I don't care enough about how we look to ask miss Lori." She said. "Honestly, I'd rather just not care what people think. I mean...it doesn't really matter how we look to other people, does it? As long as we're happy."

"This is true...why do you add the Miss? I'm sure she would mind if you just called her Lori." Al frowned softly.

Gemini blinked. She had never really thought about that before. "I suppose it's habit...and a little respect, maybe? I didn't know what else to call her when we first met, and she's older and my parents told me to respect my elders, and on top of that she was kind enough to take me in when I had nowhere to go...I guess it just happened. And now I'm used to it."

"Alright." Al smiled.

Two week later Al pulled there luggage from the car smiling at the city befoe him. "Home sweet home." he spotted Lori who had come to pick them up.
Lori was sorting threw the last details before the big event. She had been busy for two weeks barely even getting to spend time with Roy though part of the reason was that she was afraid she would spill the secret that he had been elected. |
Gemini took her luggage, not wanting to make Al carry everything. She spotted Lori at the same time he did, and waved to the woman. "Miss Lori!"

"Hey there you two." Lori hugged them both.
"We need to know did he get elected?" Al held his breath and then grinned when he saw the look on Lori's face. "Yes he did but he doesn't know yet. I want it to be a surprise." Lori chuckled. |
Gemini gasped slightly, a look of pure excitement on her face. "Oh, that's great! I can't wait to see his expression when you tell him!" She said. A tiny mew came from behind her, and she turned to pick up the still-tiny kitten. "Oh, Miss Lori, I'd like you to meet Selene. She kind of...literally followed us home. She was abandoned, so we took her in." The kitten looked up at Lori and squeaked cutely.

"She's sweet." Lori pet her and then helped them get to the hotel. "I need to break the news to Roy." she smirked. "Come with me so I have someone to help me when he passes out."
Al laughed. "Do you really think he would do that?" "Yeah I do." Lori chuckled and lead the way to Roy's apartment. "I have an idea. Gemini and I can knock. When he opens the door we'll pretend to have news but we'll play it like he lost." AL glanced at Gemini. "What do you think?" |
Gemini bit her lip. "No, I don't want to do that. It's mean. I don't think he'll take well to that kind of joke." She said, imagining the crushed look on Roy's face. She shook her head. "No. We'll pretend we don't know anything, but I'm not going to act like he lost."

"Alright." Al knocked motioning for Lori to hide for now. He put a smile on and placed his hand around Gemini's waist.

Gemini blushed slightly and leaned closer to Al, just the tiniest bit.
Roy, who had been pacing his apartment waiting for any news, was startled when he heard the knock. Going to the door, he opened it and smiled. "Al, Gemini, it's good to see you both." He noticed how they were standing and raised an eyebrow. "Looks like you've gotten pretty close." |
"Is it that obvious?" Al rolled his eyes. "Hows the campaign going?" he asked.

"It's that obvious and more." Roy said with a smirk. The smirk disappeared, however, at their mention of the campaign. "It's going okay, I think? I don't know. I've been stressed. Lori's the only thing keeping me sane these days."

"At least you have her." Al smiled a little. "You'll win. I know it." he glanced at the door feeling bad.
Lori took that moment to burst in grinning. "Guess what Roy." |
Roy gave a small, strained smile. "Thanks. I appreciate the optimism." He said, just as Lori burst through the door, making him jump. "Lori? What, what is it?" He asked thinking something was wrong.

"You won Roy!" Lori grinned. "I'm not lying either." she showed him the results grinning more.

For a moment, it seemed like he hadn't heard. Roy stood there, silent and blinking as he stared at the results. Then, slowly, a smile formed on his face. He looked up at Lori, and it looked like years had been taken off of him in a single moment. Then he was kissing her.
Gemini's face heated up and she turned away. "Yeah, that's about the reaction I expected. Not even five minutes home and they're already doing indecent things in front of us." |
Lori blushed and kissed Roy back slowly pulling away. "There are virgin eyes." she blushed at him. "I take it your happy."
"I think that's an understatement." Al laughed. |
