"I do." Winry grinned. "Just look at the two of you. Al tall and muscular, you medium height and beautiful."

Lori paled and puffed out her cheeks. What happened next was the most amazing tantrum anyone had ever seen a grown adult throw. She went kicking, screaming and biting.

Gemini's blush brightened. "S-stop, I am not..." She said shyly. "I mean, Al is definitely tall and muscular, and really handsome. But I'm just average."

To his credit, Roy handled the tantrum like a champion. He even managed to make sure nothing got broken. He learned one thing from that experience- when the time came, he'd be ready for fatherhood. In the end, he gave up, figuring if he brought her outside in that condition, people would think he was killing her. "Alright! Fine! You win, I won't make you see a doctor. You go ahead and get sick and see if I take care of you then. I tried." His feelings- and his pride- had been hurt.

"Guilt tripping me wont work." Lori had some how gotten on top of the entertainment center and was eyeing him ready for a cat like leap if he reached for her. "I hate the doctor and you can't make me go." she pouted. "I do have to pee again though." she sighed and leaped down from her spot and dashed into the bathroom

"No you aren't." Al and Winry protested at the same time. Winry chuckled "See Al thinks your more then average."

"I'm not guilt tripping you. I'm simply stating that if you get sick, I'm not taking care of you." Roy said, crossing his arms as Lori ran to the bathroom.

Gemini blushed and covered her face with her hands. "S-stop...!" She squeaked, embarrassed.

"Alright, alright." Winry giggled and slipped into the kitchen to help her grandmother with supper.

Lori came back frowning. "Are you sure I need to go? Doctors are evil...do I get a lollipop and ice cream after?" she fidgeted.

Silently thanking the stars that Winry had decided to let it go, Gemini let out a sigh. "Hey, does anyone know when Ed's going to show up? It feels like we haven't seen him in forever."

Roy sighed. "I really think you should go, Lori. I'm not going to make you, but I don't want to take the chance that you're sick." He looked at her. "Yes, you'll get both a lollipop and ice cream after."

"He's on his way back for a visit. I haven't told him about Roy. He would probably turn and run." Winry chuckled.

Lori nodded and took his hand. "OK. I'll go. Your going to have to drag me."

Gemini chuckled. "Yeah, that's true. Can I watch when you tell him? I wan to see his face." She said.

"I'll do better than that." Roy said, and picked Lori up. He carried her, bridal style, out the door and towards the doctors.

Lori sat glaring at the doctor who was keeping his distance. "Well I have good news. Your pregnant." The doctor announced. "I'm what?" Lori had turned a chalky white color." With child." the doctor smiled

"Sure." Winry chuckled then blinked as the door opened. "Oh Ed." she grinned and went to him letting him kiss her cheek. "Oh brother." Ed blinked at Al and Gemini. "What are you two doing here?"

Roy blinked rapidly. He looked as if he didn't understand the first time. The second time, he fainted dead away.

Gemini smiled brightly and tackle-hugged Ed in greeting. "Hi! We came for a visit. Hey..." She stepped back. "You got taller!" She had to look up to see him now.

"ROY!" Lori gasped then shook him violently. "Wake up so I can kill you!"

"Yeah I did." Ed puffed out his chest. "With out the held of milk as well." he glared at Al and Winry. Both rolled there eyes a little.

Roy blinked and woke up, brushing himself off as he stood back up. "Sorry. Sorry. Oh my God. Um..." He ran a hand through his hair and looked at Lori. He looked...happy. "Is this...I mean, are you...how do you feel about this?"

Gemini chuckled. "Really? Just imagine how much taller you'd be if you had milk the whole time." She pointed out. A squeaky meow came from their ankles, and Selena rubbed up against Ed in greeting. "Oh, this is our cat Selina. I think she likes you."

"How do I feel?" Lori twitch and started to strangle him. "You bastard!" she snarled then dropped. "I'm so sorry love." Tears appeared in her eyes.

Ed pouted a little then blinked at the cat. "Really?" he chuckled. "I should have know."

Surprisingly, Roy did nothing to defend himself. He looked a little hurt- emotionally, not physically, though he was in pain physically, too- but otherwise didn't show much emotion. Once she let go, he took a few breaths. "So I guess that means you're not happy. Alright then, next question. Do you want to keep it?"

Selena squeaked at him again, begging to be petted. "Believe it or not, this is the only one we've actually taken in. There were others that came around looking for food, but Selena was different. She was abandoned, and then she literally followed us home. She was so little, we couldn't just leave her." She explained.

"Of course I do. I am happy. I really am. I want to have our child, to hold and take care of." Lori sniffled. "i think I'm have mood swings."

"She is cute." Ed petted the cat smiling a little. "Shes still not that big."

Taking in these words, Roy slowly smiled. Then he hugged her- gently, of course. "I'm happy, too. I'm sorry it happened before we planned it, but...I can't wait to be a father." He pulled away slightly. "I'm going to take good care of you, I promise. Anything you need, I'll get it."

Gemini nodded. "I know. She hasn't grown at all in the time we've had her. I think she might stay that size...I want to get her to a vet, just to make sure she's healthy." She smiled again hearing Selena's contented purr. "But we';; love her no matter what."

"You may regret that." Lori smiled. "If I'm irritable on a normal day you may just die when I have a mood swing." she chuckled. "Well I'm happy for you two." the doctor gave them everything they needed. "Good luck Roy." He smirked.

"You sound like a parent." Ed teased. "Which one is the mom though." Winry joined in. "Has to be Gemini." Ed mused. "I don't know Al can be kind of naggy like a mother." Winry laughed as Am glared at them.

"Ehehehe...." Roy rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Thanks, doc." As they left, he put an arm around Lori protectively. "I meant what I said, though. I'm going to take care of you."

Gemini blushed slightly. "Now, that's not fair. Al is a gentleman, and he's not like a woman at all. Anyway, you two shouldn't talk. It's hard to figure out which of you is the man, with Winry being so bossy and Ed being such a pushover."

"Its true." Ed shrugged. "But I'm only a pushover with her." he was blushing softly.

"I know you will." Lori smiled up at him. "I love you."

Gemini crossed her arms and nodded. "Okay. Now, what does everyone want to do?"

"I love you, too." Roy said, leaning down to kiss Lori's forehead.

Lori blushed a little. "So we should probably think of names huh?" she sounded nervous. "We're going to be parents." 'she swallowed.

"Well we should tell Ed the news." Winry smirked as Ed raised his eyebrow.

Roy nodded. "Yeah, probably. But, there's no rush. We have nine months to think about it." He said. "Are you alright?" He asked, noticing Lori's nervousness.

Gemini smiled. "Ooh, you're right! Yes, we definitely have to tell him. But make sure he can't run away first." She suggested.

"I'm scared Roy." Lori bite her lip. "I don't know if I can do this Roy." Tears appeared in her eyes. "You'll be there but with ruling the country it will be hard."

Winry locked the door. "Roys been elected president." "WHAT!!" Ed screamed so loud even Roy and Lori heard him.

Roy turned to face Lori. "Hey, listen. Nothing will ever be more important to me than you and our child. I will always put you first. I will always be there for you when you need me, and even when you don't need me. If I have to, I'll resign. Being president isn't as important as being there for you. And I know you'll be able to do this. You'll make a wonderful mother." He assured her. "I know it's scary...I'm nervous, too. I mean...can you really see me as a father? But we'll manage it. Together."

Gemini flinched at the sound, and Selena went scrambling for cover in fear. "Oh, look what you did, you scared her!" Gemini scolded. "You really need to learn better impulse control. That cat was abandoned, and probably abused before that. Yelling like that wasn't necessary at all!" She was too angry to even enjoy the look on his face.

"Sorry but why did you have to wait to tell me this?" Ed scowled. "How on earth did he actually manage to get elected?"

"No you can't give up your dream." Lori pouted. "I would have to hurt you if you did that." she took his hand. "As long as we're together we can do anything."
