Gemini shrugged. "I'm 12. Most girls my age dream of getting married and having kids someday. I'm not looking to do that anytime soon, but I'd like to, someday."

Hughes frowned "I sure hope my girl isn't like that I would be sad." he sighed then picked up his little girl. "Come on let's get the Ed up so we can all eat and get you to the tests."

Gemini smiled. "I'm sure she's going to be daddy's girl her whole life." She said, skipping ahead to get the boys up.

"i sure hope so." Hughes smiled down at the girl taking care of her while his wife cooked them breakfast. Al watched wondering what it would be like to be able to taste food again.

((I just *goes into a corner and starts crying.*))

Gemini helped set the table and hand out breakfast, happy to be in such a family-like setting.

As soon as they were done eating Huges grabbed his jacket "I'm going to walk them to the test make sure you document anything she does." He kissed his wife's cheek then lead the way. "Come on!" Ed grinned and raced ahead his brother shook his head and waited for her.

Gemini chuckled and rolled her eyes, following them out. "Is he gonna run the whole way?" She asked Al.

"Most likely." Al chuckled then grinned when he spotted Lori heading for work. "There's Lori-chan."

Gemini looked up. "She's one of colonel Mustang's assistants, right?" She asked.

"Yep." Al smiled at the woman who approached them.

"Hello boys who's this?" Lori smiled at Gemini.

Gemini bowed. "My name is Gemini Starr. It's very nice to meet you." She said politely.

"Lorinda Archer. Lori for short it's a pleasure to meet you. Here for the test?" Lori asked glancing at Hughes who went in to greet Roy.

Gemini nodded. "Yes. I hope I do well." She said.

Inside, Mustang was drinking a cup of coffee to wake himself up.

"Well I'm the guard for the day so I'll take you." Lori grinned and lead the way to the paper test. "Good luck." She held open the door handing her a sheet to fill out.

"Hey." Hughes joined Roy. "Did you hear? I have a baby girl!"

Gemini took the sheet and bowed again. "Thank you." She said, going to sit down and start.

"Only about twenty times a day." Mustang replied sarcastically, though he was just teasing.

"She's just so cute. You should settle down and have a kid of your own you know." Hughes smirked at the man.

Mustang rolled his eyes. "Right. I'll do that. Right after I accomplish all my goals." He said. "Did the boys get to you okay?" He asked, changing the subject.

"Yep and they brought a girl with them to take the alchemist test." Hughes chuckled. ''Ed was more then pleased you weren't there to greet him."

"Of course he was. I don't get why that kid hates me so much." Mustang shrugged. "A girl, huh? So they've finally hit that age. Maybe I'll have a talk with them about relationships."

"Oh no you don't." Hughes glared at him sharply. "Don't even think about it. You'll just scar the poor kids plus there to young for that kind of love."

"What? I learned about it at their age and I'm fine." He said, holding his hands up. "But I suppose Ed wouldn't take well to that kind of talk...maybe I will wait. Still, if they're picking up girls, they must at least be interested."

"You know Ed has that crush on Winry. You are not fine just so you know." Hughes chuckled. "So how are things here? Seems like they have Lori running more errands. Are you actually letting them use one of your people."

"I don't have too much choice in the matter- especially since Lori threatened me. Apparently, she needed to get out of here every so often, or I would find myself...in a bad position." Mustang looked away, embarrassed. The truth was, Lori sometimes scared him. He always took her threats seriously.

Hughes blinked then started to laugh. "That's like being married." he teased the man then froze. "she's standing behind me isn't she?" he swallowed.

"You bet you are and I'm more his mother then his wife." Lori sat down with a chuckle.

Deciding not to comment on the mother vs. wife subject, Mustang turned to look at Lori. "You're late. That never happens. What came up?" He asked.
