Lori took Martha from Riza. "She's been waiting for her daddy." Martha spotted her father and reached out towards him fussing.

Roy reached forward and took May, bouncing her gently to calm her. "Hey, princess." He said, a note of relief in his voice. "I'm so glad you're okay."

It was right about then that Gemini showed up. "Hey...how is everyone?" She asked.

"We're fine." Lori smiled as Martha cuddled closer to her father. "How's Al?"

"He's going to be alright." Gemini said with more than a little relief. "He's resting now- they gave him some serious pain medication. And he's going to be missing work for a little while...that's my orders, not the doctor's."

Roy nodded. "Absolutely, I wouldn't ask him to work after...after that. He can take as much time as he needs to recover." He said.

"I'll take over for his sir. If you want." Riza offered with a soft smile.

"That would be perfect." Lori grinned then giggled as she noticed that May had fallen asleep.

"I'd appreciate it, thank you Riza." Roy looked down to see May asleep in his arms and smiled. "I think it's time to get her home where it's safe."

"And after that we can go oversee the interrogation. And maybe help with it." Gemini said, adding the last bit darkly. Clearly she wanted the shooter dead as much as Lori did.

"I'll stay home and watch over Martha." Lori lead the way to there house sighing a little. "Beat him extra hard for me Gemini."

"I promise, if he survives, he'll never be the same again." Gemini said.

"I'll be back in a little while, okay?" Roy said, giving both Lori and May a kiss.

Lori nodded and headed home glad to see extra's security hanging around as she tucked May into her crib.

"No he just keeps mumbling about how he failed." The guard scowled then frowned as the man looked up and meet Roy's eye's even though he couldn't have possible seen him.

"Let me talk to him." Gemini said, clearly eager to get her hands on the guy. "I can get him to talk."

"It's worth a shot." Roy said. "Just don't kill him. There's obviously more going on here than we thought, and we're gonna need him alive."

The man sat back in his chair and yawned tilting his head to the side. He was clearly taunting them.

"Whats this? They send a little girl?" The man smirked. "Your that boys girlfriend...Your here to ruff me up I assume." he chuckled. "Go ahead, do your worst. I will die before I say anything."

Gemini didn't even flinch at being called little, which normally would have set her off. Instead, she smiled brightly. "Oh, sweetie, you're not going to die at all." She said sweetly. "When I'm done with you, you'll just wish you were dead." And then she went to work, torturing the man in ways no girl her age or size should ever know.

Roy watched in horror, wanting to look away but unable to.

The guy never uttered a word just smiled at her the whole time.

"I told you I would die first." The man managed to say. "Goodnight little girl I look forward to tomorrow."

"Your mind will break before your body does." Gemini said. "Good night." She left the room to meet Roy in the hallway.

"What...happened?" Roy asked as Gemini emerged.

Gemini sighed. "He's tough. You might need to let Lori give it a try." She said. "A person can only be tortured for so long before they break and give in, we just need to find the right kind of torture. Pain obviously isn't working..."

"I wonder if twelve hours of Teletubbies will do it." Roy said jokingly.

Riza snorted a little. "Maybe you should try it."

"Try what, a Teletubbies marathon?" Roy asked. "I suppose it's worth a shot."

"Are you going to try interrogating him?" Gemini asked.

"After all that?" Roy shook his head. "There's nothing I can do to make him talk. We'll try again in the morning."

Riza chuckled and lead the way nodding to the guard's as she went.

Lori was waiting for Roy wondering if they had gotten anything.

Lori's mouth was open a little. "After all that and he didn't break?" she frowned. "That's amazing."
