"Food and something to drink sounds nice plus a kiss on my shoulder." Al grinned at her. "I hear it helps wounds heal faster."

Gemini smiled. "I can do that." She said, leaning forward to place a gentle kiss on his shoulder, careful not to hurt him. After that, she hit the call button for a nurse.

"You should get something as well you need your strength to take care of me." Al glanced up as a nurse entered. "Can I have food and water please?" "of course." the nurse smiled checking him over.

Gemini smiled tiredly and nodded. She was hungry. The nurse gave them a menu of what Al was allowed to have from the cafeteria and told them to use the room's phone to call down when they knew what they wanted.

Al picked what he wanted then handed her the menu. "It all looks good." he sighed.

Gemini nodded. "Hospital food is a lot better than it used to be." She said, grabbing the phone. She called down to the cafeteria and relayed their orders, then hung up. "Someone will be up with a tray in a few minutes."

"I wouldn't know." Al sighed. "I must have gone to the hospital when I was younger but if I did I don't remember."

"Pretty lucky if you ask me." Gemini said, sitting back down next to him. "I was in the hospital a lot as a kid. It was miserable."

Al bite his lip. "That sucks...remind me to ask Ed if I was in the hospital." he had been so young when he had lost his body he couldn't remember much.

Gemini nodded. "Sure." She said. "Knowing him, he'll probably come to visit you soon. He's probably already heard about what happened."

"ALPHONSE ELRIC!" Ed's voice echoed threw the building. "Oh boy." Al grimaced. "I'm in trouble." he said just as the door opened revealing a very angry Ed and a worried Winry. "What where you thinking!?" Ed roared glaring. "That I had to protect the President." Al pulled Gemini close as a half shield.

Gemini flinched. "Wow, speak of the devil and he shall appear." She whispered. Turning to Ed, she gave him a tired look. "I already yelled at him, so you don't have to. Of course, I have no say in how brothers work, so..." She shrugged. "Just go easy for now, he's still tired."

Ed glowered at them then pulled Al into a hug. "Never do that again you idiot. I just got you back." he mumbled. Al blinked then hugged his brother back. "I'm sorry." he let Ed go when he pulled away. "how are you?" Ed asked. "Stiff and tired but that pain killer stuff works miracles." Al grinned.

"Miracles is right. Earlier he could barely talk, the stuff had him so loopy." Gemini said.

Ed sighed and flicked Al's forehead. "Don't ever do that again. Roy isn't worth it...May is because she's cute and little so she doesn't know how annoying her father is yet." Al snorted softly and rolled his eyes.

Gemini chuckled. "May is precious and must be protected at all costs." She said. "I only wish they'd let me kill the bastard while I had the chance. But no, they needed to interrogate...and that masochist won't talk." A few sparks jolted around her clenched fist.

Ed frowned. "I understand why they need to interrogate but you should have killed him anyways."
"No." Al scowled at them. "He might not be the only one out there." |
"He's the only culprit we have right now, but the way he acts makes us think he's not alone. There are others, and there's some kind of backup plan. We need him alive to tell us the details." Gemini said, frowning.

Al nodded. "Why are they even trying to kill Roy? He barely started being president and from what we see life is improving...do you think there followers of the homunculus?"

Gemini shrugged thoughtfully. "It's possible. That might explain why he didn't respond to the torture. I did horrible things to that man, and...nothing."

Al frowned. "I thought we had round up all there followers." "maybe not. Those kinds of people have a way of surviving." Ed pointed out.

"I'll run the idea by Roy next time I see him." Gemini said with a sigh.

Al nodded then yawned softly. "We'll let you rest." Ed patted his arm and headed out.

Gemini waved at them as they left, then turned to Al. "Do you want me to go, too?" She asked.

"I would love for you to stay. I feel better when your here." Al's eyes had started to close.
