Though Roy was impatient to question the guard, he knew he'd have to wait until they were at least conscious. In the meantime, he worked with several detectives to try and figure out what had happened to the guard and where Lori had gone.

Gemini sighed lightly. "Well I guess until they find Lori, we'll have to do our part by taking care of May. Lori will kill us twenty times over if she comes back and May isn't in perfect condition."

"Then she would clone us and never speak to us again." Al agreed.

Riza stopped and one point and frowned. "Feels like alchemy." she spotted a circle on the ground. "Looks recent."

Roy frowned. "Of course, that's expected. Lori wouldn't have gone down to any common thief. Can we tell what was done?"

Riza shook her head as she examined the circle. "She's something else." she smirked and glanced over at a pile of bricks. "I reckon there's a body under there courtesy of your wife. I'm almost positive that pile was not there before."

Roy couldn't stop himself from smirking. "That's my girl." He said. "But what happened to her after that? She's obviously not here...let's move the bricks and see if we can find out anything from the body."

Riza had a few people move the bricks and made a face. "She sure did a number on it..." she examined the body. "Hard to tell what gender we have or anything else." she sat back and examined the ground. "They went this way." she stood and followed the bloody foot she had spotted.

Giving orders to take the body in and examine it, Roy left the others behind to follow the footprints with Riza.

The prints vanished in the middle of a suburban area. "Fancy place for a kidnapper." Riza frowned watching there dog Hayate sniff around. He let out a bark and headed for a house tail wagging. Riza pulled out her gun and stood by the door waiting for Roy to knock.

Roy pulled his gloves on tighter before walking up to the door and knocking firmly.

The door opened by itself. "Creepy." Riza mumbled following behind Roy as they walked in. She checked in room. "Empty down here. Do we go up or down?"

Roy frowned. "This just screams "trap" to me. Unfortunately, I don't have the patience to go slowly. You take the upstairs, I'll go down."

Riza headed up and took a look around. As Roy headed down the door swung shut behind him. He heard screaming that sounded a lot like Lori.

Swearing under his breath, Roy moved forward, preparing to fight at a moment's notice.

A man was standing there a smile on he face. "Ah there you are." he greeted. Behind him Lori was chained the the wall her face and body covered in bruises. She moaned softly and licked the blood from her mouth. "Your a little early. I hadn't finished playing with my guest." he trailed his hand down her body making her flinch.

"Get away from her now." Roy demanded, trying hard to reign in his anger upon seeing this scumbag touch his wife. It would be a bad idea to just go in swinging, at least until he knew what he was up against. "And maybe I won't hurt you too much."

The man laughed. "Go ahead and try to hurt me." He glanced at the shield he was standing in. He leaned towards Lori. "Open your eyes dear." her eyes opened. "Roy?" she looked confused. "You bastard! Don't make me see him!" she thought she was hallucinating. "If you don't behave I'll punish you." the man sighed.

Roy stepped forward, banging on the shield. "Stay away from her! Get out here and fight me, you coward!" He roared, furious.

The man smirked. "No I like my chances in here better then out there." he glanced up as a hang sounded. "Ah the Calvary is here." he sighed. "Seems I'm almost out of time." he pouted at Lori. "We can finish this up but I'm not going to have as much fun." He pulled a knife out. Lori's eyes widened as he touched it to her cheek. "At least I get the pleasure of your cries." he cut her cheek a little.

Suddenly a loud explosion rocked the building. "They sure are trying." he chuckled not noticing that the shaking had caused a rock to scratch his circle leaving him vulnerable. He cut into Lori's arm causing her to whimper.

The scratch was all Roy needed. While the man was distracted, he charged through the circle to tackle him, knocking him away from Lori. Even as they hit the ground, Roy surrounded them with fire. If the man moved so much as an inch, he'd be burned to a crisp.

"No this isn't suppose to happen!!" The man growled but stayed still. "I'll get you." he growled. "You'll pay for ruining my fun!" Riza finally got the door open with help. "President are you OK?" she asked gun aimed at the man on the floor.

Roy backed away from the man, though he kept him surrounded by a ring of fire. "I'm fine. Riza, call in backup and get this guy detained while I check on Lori." He said before going to Lori. "Lori...are you alright? What did he do to you?"

Lori stared at Riza then looked up at Roy. "Roy?" her voice shook. "Its really you right?" she felt tears gathering in her eyes. When she was free she weakly grabbed onto him.

"It's me." Roy confirmed, holding Lori as close as possible without hurting her. "God, I was so scared. I'm never leaving you alone again."
