Ed changed back smiling. "It actually doesn't hurt as much as you think it would by watching it. A little uncomfortable though. Ok the first time it hurts like hell. I'm glad you like it."

"It wasn't a big thing." Ed blushed then blushed more when his stomach growled. "Let's go get something to eat." he lead the way to the kitchen where a few adults lingered they fell silent and stared at Luna then smiled. "Welcome." The oldest woman greeted.

"True...Tom...if you every need blood just ask ok?" Artemis blushed. "It's the least I can do."

LUna smiled softly then blinked at the adults.She gave a friebndly smile."Hello',she said shyly

Tom blinked a bit."i try and not to drink from humans",he addmitted but smiled."but thank you",he said kissing the back of her hand

"Your so beautiful I can see why are boy loves you." The woman winked at her. "What would you kids like?" "Just something to eat Ellen." Ed was blushing softly.

"Why not?" Artemis blinked at him.

Tom sighed a bit."becauyse some tim,es,humas can get ,addicted to the feel it leaves....and when i was first turned,i hurt a lot of people..."

"Addicted? Does it really feel that good?" Artemis frowned. "It didn't when he bite me. Your a different person know though and I don't think you would hurt me."

"Oh such a dear." The woman smiled getting them cookies, milk and chocolate syrup. "here you go." "Thanks Ellen." Ed took the stuff and headed to his room. "This is my room." he announced showing off his room. It was average sized which was filled with everything Ed liked including a picture of a young girl about four or five standing with a older woman and man.

Luna blinked a bit at the picture."who are they?",sdhe asked curiously

Ed glanced at the picture and smiled. "My old family." he admitted. "The think I'm dead and it's better that way." his tone said he didn't want to talk about them.

Ed stared at the picture the saddest look on his face.

Artemis let the awkward silence fall over them as she stared at the horses ears hoping they would get there soon.

Ed opened there snacks and handed her the bag. "Keep it close if the cubs smell it we won't stand a chance."

Tomsmiled then looked as they reached a park."perfect"

"Cookie's." Ed laughed. "They are kids...kids with super smell." he paused as a sound similar to a herd stampeding. "Oh crap." he scrambled up and managed to close the door just as a wave of cubs crashed against it. "See." he grinned at Luna.

"A park?" Artemis blinked. "It's nice." she smiled. She carefully climbed down and stretched a little. "Good horses." she pet them.

Tom smiled softly and hopped out ,after whispering something to teh coachmen and then grabbed a picknick basket he had hidden."come on",he said offering her his hand

Ed laughed as well then looked surprised as the door came crashing down. The cubs charged at Luna all eyes on the cookie's in her hand. "Heal!" Ed called pushing the door off with surprising strength. The cubs stopped inches away from her hand and stared at her with there big eyes begging. "Ask nicely." he sighed. "Can we have a cookie?" The oldest asked.

Artemis took his hand and followed him gazing around at the park.

Luna had flinched getting ready for a tackel,she then blinked at the cubs."o-of course',she said grinning.

Tom smiled taking her down a dirt path."veruy few living peopel know about this place"

They all took one then rushed out. "We survived some how." Ed chuckled. "And they left two cookies."

"Tons of people come out here though." Artemis frowned a little.

Tom grinned.'just come one",he sai as he stopped at what looked to be a dead end of vines.

"It could have been much worse." Ed observed as he gazed at the door. "There mother's will have there heads for this."
