Steve smiled and eventually dozed off

Aurora woke with a groan and shifted with a yelp she fell off the couch. "Ow."

Thor woke at blinked at the light.

Jess was still curled into him,smiling softly.

Steev,who had been in the kitchen making breakfast looked o her."you okay?",he asked worred

"Fine just fell off the couch." Aurora stood. "You can cook? Your full of surprises." she smiled stretching a little.

Thor smiled down at her letting her sleep as long as she wanted.

Steve just laughed."why does everyone think i cant do things?",he said going back to his eggs

Jess sighed as she blinke awake.Her face became beat red as she slowly looked up t Thr."m-m-moring"

"Because your old for one and for two you where frozen for a while three you where young when you entered the military." Aurora shrugged a little.

"Good morning to you as well." Thor noticed how close they where and pulled away. "I smell food." he changed the subject and looked to Jess. "Want to eat?"

Jaess sat up nodding."food sounds good",she said softly

Steve laughed a bit."ouch your sunding like Tony.Belive it or not i wasn't catered too,i was young whenmy mom died,i had cook,clean and do ebeything for myself from then on.."he paused."Bucky was good,he would look out for me"

"I'm sorry Steve." Aurora squeezed his hand. "It smells great."

Thor lead the way half holding Jess's hand.

Steve smiled at her softly."thanks"

Jess blinked looking at thier hands but found herse;f smiling happily .When they got down stars she smiled."what smells so good"

"Steve cooked us something." Aurora was setting the table a happy smile on her face. The others came down all complimenting Steve on his cooking all except Tony who just held his tongue.

Thor held Jess's chair out for her then leaned over to whisper to Aurora. "I need to ask you something later." he sat down before she could answer.

Jess smiled as she sat down."thanks",she said softly,still not use to this.

Steve smiled as he plated the food and sat down."lets dig in",he said and started to eat,though windered what Thor said to Aurora

"Your welcome." Thor ate and as soon as Aurora was done he pulled her blinking into the other room. "How do you Midgardians do this dating thing?" He asked.

Aurora blinked then laughed. "You just ask the person out then take them out some place." Thor nodded then went up to Jess. "Would you like to go on a date with me?"

Steve blinked a bit watching Thor take Aurora away,just laughing a little.

Jess smiled."This was a great breakfast,thank you Steve",she said softly then blinked as Thor came back Blushing a little she smield and nodded."I would like that,very much Thor"

"Alright then how about a picnic." Thor grinned those at least he knew about.

Aurora reclaimed her seat next to Steve. "I told you he liked her."

Steve blinked a little but smiled."and here I thought he was asking you out"

Jess smield."yes,a picnick sounds great"

"I don't know if you're joking or not but I'm going to pretend you are." Aurora laughed a little. "There's only one man I want to ask me out."

"I shall prepare a feast." Thor went to stand but Nat stopped him. "Let me. We don't need the place burning down." She went to prepare the picnic while Thor scowled.

Steve smirked a bit."I though i did"

Jess blinked a little but smield to Thor

"It can't be that hard to cook. It is just..." Thor trailed off realizing that the probably didn't have boar. "Chicken." He nodded while Nat made up the basket. "Yes but you have to cook the chicken." Nat shook her head. "I'll show you how to." Thor joined her at the stove.

"This is true." Aurora giggled. "I'm glad you did." She squeezed his hand.

Steve smiled softly."me too"

Jess smiled watching Thor learn how to cook,it was cute.

Aurora leaned against Steve having wanted to do it for a while. He was warm and comfortable she smiled softly lacing there fingers together ignoring the smirk on Tony's face.

Thor followed Nat's instructions to the tee not wanting to ruin there picnic. He came to sit down when there was nothing left to do but what for the chicken to cook. "That stove is interesting. How does the gas get to it?"

"pipes i think",Jess said having started to do oragami with paper napkins out of bordum.

Steve blinked a bit bt smiled resting her head aginst her head.He looked to Tony,and sighed at his smirk

"What are you doing?" Thor asked watching her with a soft frown.

"What shall we do today?" Aurora asked from her position.

Steve blinked a little."want to go for a walk and explore are little safe area?"

Jess blinked and smiled as she heled a oragami crane out to Thor."Oragami..'

"What?" Thor blinked studying the crane with interest. "Does it do anything?" He wondered carefully moving the cranes wings.

"You sure? He's still out there somewhere." Aurora sounded nervous. "I mean I will have you so we should be fine."

"if i made it rght when you pull down on the tail ,gently,the wings should flap",Jess siad softly

Steve smiled."we would just stick around here,that way were safe"
