"Where is the fire stone!" Aurora was getting annoyed.

Steve looked to her."HEY!,calm down,we are trying to help",he looked at teh burnt down tower."If you had relaxed and not detroyed the tower we could have asked Jarvis",he said calmly."now we have to ask fury since he may have it"

Aurora glanced at the tower. "Yeah sorry about that." she sighed then grimaced "Fury isn't going to give it up easily." she rolled up her sleeves. "I can convince him." she nodded. "Lead the way Captain."

"lets not start more of a war against friends"Steve said softly."Thor ,you coming with?",he asked and started walking

"I might as well." Thor sighed following along.

Aurora headed after them careful to keep her flames in control.

Once at S.H.I.E.L.D. Steve looked around and finding Fury he frowned."Nick....what happened to the Fire stone"

Fury who sat at his desk looked to them."why,do you need to know that",he asked calmly

"Because I want my stone back." Aurora stepped forward. "I am Aurora Goddess of fire, I helped rule a planet a long way from here. When Thanos attacked I managed to escape with my power stone which is what he was after but I have to return to my home to see if it survived."

"and was your home a peaceful plannet",Fury asked pointing to his screen witched showed her burning down the tower,attacking Tony,Steve and threatening Jess."because that tells me your not"

Steve stepped forwards.'we starteled her...she just wants to go home Steve...i know what thats like.....i can never go home,but she can....."

Auroras eyes flashed. "You know nothing human." she huffed. "The stone is rightfully mind. Besides my memories are still melding together when Tony said he wouldn't give it to me I saw a threat. As for Steve I thought he was an enemy and the tower was a mistake." she left the subject of Jess alone.

Steve frowned."Nick,please"

Fury stood and sighed."if anything goes wrong ,Steve you'l be held resposible",he said softly and went over to a wall,punched in a code and it opened reviling the fire stone

Aurora walked over and took it cradling it gentle. A flash of fire surrounded her transforming into a staff in which the fire stone was set. "Steve I want to thank you for everything. If I return I will look for you." she promised brushing a hand over his face.

Steve stared at her.'yeha".he said looking hurt and doutful."you and Thor better get going"

"I don't want to go." Aurora took his hand. "But I have to check. I have to know." she turned to Thor and together they vanished tears rolling down Aurora's cheeks.

Thor returned shortly after he vanished looking worried.

Steve looked to him.'well?",he asked softly

"The portal worked. All we can do is wait." Thor sighed. "She wouldn't let me follow. Said she couldn't take me away from Jess. I should find her."

Steve nodded."good idea",he said softly."I am going to go get ...a coffee...or a drink",he nodded to himself and started walking

Thor felt bad for Steve but he needed to focus on his relationship. He went to go find Jess hoping they could talk.

Steve watched him go and sighed heading g off on his own

Jess in the mean time had wondered the city and had found herself at the docks watching the water. While she munched on a large tub of cookie dough ice cream

Thor found Jess and sat next to her. "Are you alright?" he asked offering his hand to her.

Jess nodded and handed him a spoon."im fine",she said softly,keeping her eyes on the water

"I miss her as well." Thor whispered trying the ice cream. "ITS COLD!" he gasped.

"....i miss her,but its what peopel do,you get attached...they leave",she them jumpped and tried her best not to laugh.'but do you like it?"

"Yes." Thor nodded grinning. "I will not leave you Jess I swear." he kissed her hand gentle. "She may be back."

Jess looked unsure."so if you had to go back to your world,and i didnt want to go,you'd stay?",she said softly."and there is this thing called death....or you could end up hateing me"

"I am immortal, I will not die easily." Thor frowned. "If I has no choice to go back home. I promise to return. I choose you Jess for now and forever." he went to kiss her when a blinding light lit up the space behind them. He turned to see who had arrived. "Aurora!"

Aurora stood there a white cat in her arms and a black dog at her side. She was bleeding heavily and her face was covered in tears. The fire stone was still a staff but it looked like it has seen a battle. "There all dead." she sobbed gripping the cat tighter.
