Steve blocked the blow, suddenly glad that he had thought to grab his shield before running after Aurora. After blocking, he threw a punch at the other man's gut.

Bucky blocked the punch with his metal arm throwing another punch bringing his dagger up with his other hand.

Aurora watched the fight then glanced at the man who had opened the box. She froze when she saw the stone that was with in with out noticing it she had started to walk forward even when the others arrived.

Steve twisted away from the punch and kicked out, trying to kick the dagger out of his hand.

Bucky lost the knife but that didn't stop him from kicking and punching keeping him away from Aurora.

Aurora was close to the stone and she reached out for it but stopped. "No!" She pulled away. "I won't do it!" She glared at the man who growled and made the mistake of grabbing the stone thinking to toss it at her instead he turned to ash. Aurora without much though grabbed the stone to keep it from hitting the ground and turning everything to dust. She gasped as the stone landed in her hand.

Steve fought back, trying not to lose Aurora in the process. "Come on Bucky, I don't want to fight you." He pleaded. Glancing back at Aurora, he saw that she was holding the stone. This shocked him enough to make him pause.

Back at the safehouse, Gemini sat bolt upright, feeling some kind of shock ripple through her. Aurora's holding the stone. She wasn't sure how she knew, but she did. The emotions floating towards her from the direction of the fight only confirmed this instinct.

Aurora was frozen in place staring as the stone came to life blue fire wrapped up her arm melding with her own fire. The power was amazing she could protect the world and much more she smiled and relaxed feeling her resist fading. "That's right child together we will bring the world to it's knee's." The fire stone's voice caressed her giving her pause she didn't want to rule the world.

Bucky took the chance to punch Steve hard in the face drawing his attention away from the girl who was glowing a weird blue color.

Steve cursed under his breath as he recovered from the punch. The way things were, there was no way he could get to Aurora. He'd have to deal with Bucky first. With this in mind, he started fighting back harder.

Gemini stood and looked out the window. A shiver ran down her spine. Something was terribly wrong, she could feel it. It was as if the Aether inside of her was reacting to it. "Dammit...screw this!" She hopped out the window and started running. Risk or not, it seemed obvious that no one else was able to help Aurora at the moment, so she would have to do it.

Aurora heard noises around her and a power other then the stone's growing close. "No stay away." She begged Gemini even though there was no way she would hear her. The name Gemini stuck in her head and it gave her own fire strength. With a smirk she thought of Tony and laughing at one of his remarks and that famous wink of his. She thought of Natasha who always annoyed Clint. How Clint would fire back at the girl and a war of jokes would insue. She thought about sweet, kind Bruce who was like a father figure and always there to listen or patch her up. Even Thor who was like a over grown child but was adorable when he was trying to figure out anything Midgardian. Finally she thought of Steve and her fire roared to life fighting back the stone until she was able to cram it back into it's box.

Gemini stopped in her tracks. Was that Aurora's voice...in her mind? No stay away. She shook her head. It was impossible, but still she didn't move any further. She felt a huge flare of power- this time familiar- and then the Stone's power was subdued. Gemini smiled. "Way to go, Aurora." She said, even though no one could hear her.

Steve managed to get Bucky on the defensive, and even knocked him back momentarily. During that time, He looked over to see Aurora fighting the Stone's power, and he smiled proudly. She had done it! "Someone grab that box!" He shouted, hoping they could get it out of here before anything else went wrong.

Aurora hugged the box to her panting a little. She was glad when Tony landed next to her and gentle took the box from her. "Aurora." Tony knelt down frowning at her. "I'm alight." she mumbled leaning against him not feeling alright.

Nat helped Steve handle Bucky glad when Clint jumped in and knocked the man out with one of his electrical arrows. "What do we do with him?" Nat panted staring at the unconscious man.

Steve was at a loss. "I honestly have no idea." He said. He wanted to go and check on Aurora, but he also wanted to stay and figure out what to do with Bucky.

"Why don't we tie him up and bring him back with us." Tony suggested holding the box in one gloved hand and supported Aurora with the other.

Steve nodded. "Yeah...okay. As long as no one objects." He said, looking at the others. He wouldn't blame them if they didn't want Bucky around, dangerous as he was.

"We'll deal with him if he decided to attack us again." Tony lifted Aurora up after he had handed the back to Nat. "Which do you want the girl or Bucky?" he asked smirking a little.

Aurora didn't even protest at being picked up she was too exhausted.

Steve raised an eyebrow. It seemed pretty obvious what the answer was, considering the look on his face when he saw Tony holding Aurora. "I'll take her."

"here you go then." Tony handed Aurora to him making her groan. "I'll help with Bucky." he helped Clint pick up the man and carry him back.

"You really helped me out Steve." Aurora smiled up at him. "I thought of all the things I love." she drifted off.

Steve paused, staring down at the woman, momentarily shocked by her words. Then he smiled, held her a little closer, and started walking.

Instead of going back to the safehouse, Gemini had stayed where she was to wait for everyone. She didn't care if she got in trouble for leaving, she just wanted to see for herself that everyone was safe.

Tony and Clint walked by her first holding Bucky between them. "Hey Gemini." Tony called grinning. "Keep both hands on the person." Clint snapped making Tony blink and return the hand he was about to wave at her with. "Sorry." Tony grumbled.

Gemini laughed, glad that everyone seemed okay- all except Aurora. "I felt a huge power surge...some strange stuff went down. Is Aurora okay?" She asked.

"She'll be alright." Steve answered. He was walking slowly so he didn't jostle Aurora too much. "Exhausted and probably sore all over, but nothing a good bit of rest won't fix."

Tony smirked unable to help himself. "The power sure did a number on her if she's that sore." he chuckled. "I'm sure you'll make her sorer."

Unable to physically do anything at the moment, Steve settled for glaring. "Do you ever miss the chance for an inappropriate comment?"

Gemini picked up a small pebble as she walked and threw it at the back of Tony's head. When he turned to look, she pointed at Steve. "He did it." She lied, smiling playfully.

Tony glanced from the girl to Steve. "I never miss a good chance...and very adult Gemini." He smirked. "There's no way it could have been Steve he's holding Aurora." He and Clint followed Nat inside and tied Bucky to a metal chair. "There."

Gemini shrugged. "But he wanted to do it. I could feel how badly he wanted to throw something at you, so I did it for him. Mostly to make him stop broadcasting his emotions." She said nonchalantly.

Instead of responding to Gemini's words, Steve brought Aurora over to the couch and lay her down gently. He wasn't letting her out of his sight for a while.

Aurora groaned but didn't wake. "She sure is out." Tony mused as he studied Bucky's arm he backpedaled when it tried to strangle him. He blinked at the man who was now awake and glaring at him. "Well Sleeping Beauty is awake." He smirked.

"Why would you get that close to someone who wants to kill you?" Gemini asked, confused as to why Tony would have done that.

"He's too curious." Steve said, getting up to come over. He looked down at Bucky sadly. "I don't suppose you recognize me, huh?"
