"I never said to trust him completely." Gemini clarified. "I wouldn't hand him a knife and turn around. I'm just saying I'm more likely to hurt one of you than he is...right at this moment."

Steve nodded. "I'm not asking you guys to trust him right away. Of course we should be careful. But I'd like to give him a chance." He said.

"Alright then." Aurora untied him then glared at Bucky. "You put one toe out of line and I'll melt you into a puddle."

Bucky swallowed. "message received."

"Well, now that that's settled, I'm going for a walk." Gemini said, then promptly walked out the door.

"What's up with her?" Steve wondered, then shook his head. "Never mind. You doing okay, Bucky?"

Tony blinked after the girl and went after her. "You alright?"

"I'm fine...a little scared of your girl but fine." Bucky smirked at the blush on Aurora's face.

Outside, Gemini was wandering around the house, afraid to go too far away. She jumped, startled by Tony's voice. "Huh? Oh, hi. Yeah, I'm fine..."

Steve blushed a little. "Yeah...well...she's pretty tough. Aurora can be scary if you're her enemy, but great if you're an ally." He said.

Aurora blushed softly and smiled happily. "Your really think I'm that great?"

"I don't think your good but I'll let it drop for a kiss." Tony gave her a cheeky grin.

Steve blushed, realizing he'd said that not only out loud but right in front of Aurora. "W-well...y-yeah. You've proved it over and over, so..."

Gemini rolled her eyes, a smirk tugging at her lips. "I'm just tired, that's all. I'm tired of being tired." She said.

"You'll be alright." Tony promised "Thor should be back from Asgard soon." At that moment a flash of light appeared behind him. "Speaking off." he chuckled.

"Thanks Steve." Aurora smiled happily. "Oh just hug or kiss already." Bucky sighed. 'This is awkward."

Gemini shrugged. "If you say so." She really hoped he was right. "I swear I'm going to sleep for a month as soon as I can...if I can."

Steve scowled at his friend, which was the strongest expression he could muster. "Don't rush us."

Aurora smiled softly. "He's not Tony who jumps before he thinks or looks." "Yeah he's so safe...Peggy actually kissed him first." Bucky smirked.

Thor came over a troubled look on his face. "We will need to draw Maliketh to her and kill the man." he sighed. "It's the best I could manage. I also know he's going to head for Greenwich.

Steve blushed and licked Bucky in the shins. "Shut up!" He said, embarrassed.

Gemini sighed. "Well, it's something I guess." She said, though clearly she didn't have much hope for the plan.

"It will be fine. We just need to get his attention." Tony sighed. "I already did that." Thor admitted "He'll be here soon." "***k." Tony cursed.

"Really?" Aurora smiled more. "How would you know it was after you died." Bucky blinked at her. "It was a guess actually seems I was right." he smirked at Steve.

Gemini said something in Japanese that sounded extremely dirty. "We need to tell everyone." She said, and ran inside.

Steve blushed brighter and opened his mouth to respond when Gemini came bursting in, rambling about something. "Whoa, slow down! What's happening?"

"Thor did WHAT!?" Aurora glared at the man then yelped as the ground shook.

Tony appeared going to his suit. "Malikith." he explained simple and at once Nat, Clint and Bruce prepared.

Steve jumped up and grabbed his shield, which was never far away just in case. "Do we have any kind of plan?" He asked.

"I would say "survive" is a pretty good plan." Gemini said, a shaky attempt at humor.

Aurora nodded a bunch of fire birds appearing next to her. "Let's do this instead." she looked to Gemini. "You need to surrender to him and let him take the Aether so we can destroy him and it.

"Alright." Aurora stood in front of her. "Don't kill me." she glanced at Bucky. "You'll have to carry her out." she cut the ropes that was holding his hands together. "One false move and." she gestured with her head to a flaming phoenix which had formed from her fire. "Alex will have a snack."

Gemini made a face. She hated the idea of being carried out like a child, but she didn't complain. "Just...let's get this over with." She said.

Steve nudged Bucky. "Don't get grabby. They'll both kill you." He kidded quietly.

"Yeah, yeah." Bucky lifted Gemini over his shoulder. "Don't wiggle to much." he waited for everyone to be ready then carried Gemini out. "Here." he tossed Gemini in front of Maliketh who smirked a little.

"Ok everyone ready?" Aurora swallowed nervously watching the man draw the Aether out of Gemini. Tony was standing next to Aurora in his suit a dark look on his face.

Gemini grunted. "I won't." She said. She stayed still until she was tossed to the ground, at which point she glared daggers at Bucky. She would have something to say to him later- if she lived. That was her last thought before blacking out.

Steve nodded, tense. "Yeah, I'm ready." He said, watching carefully. Seeing that Gemini had passed out, he glanced at Tony, hoping he didn't do anything stupid.

Aurora grimaced at the view before her. "Here we go." she swallowed a little the jumped as Tony blasted Maliketh. ''Idiot."

Aurora rushed forward joining the others as they fought the dark elf.

Tony finally managed to finish him off using the box Thor had gotten to house the Aether. "There." he went to Gemini's hand. "Please be ok."

Once it was over, Steve sighed and went to Aurora. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Gemini was completely unconscious, but at least she was breathing and her pulse was normal. Her ears and tail had become visible.
