Aurora feed him a bite smiling softly. "There. Is it good?" she asked gathering another fork full.

Steve smiled. "It is, actually." He said, then gently took the fork from her. "My turn." He brought a bite up to her lips.

Aurora let Steve feed her and so it went until they had cleaned there plate. "Do you want desert Steve." She was full but if there was a chance Steve was still hungry she would get him desert.

Steve shook his head. "No, I'm pretty full. What about you?" He asked.

"I'm stuffed like a thanksgiving turkey." Aurora admitted with a grimace. She paid when the waiter came with there check. "Shall we?" she stood and took his hand grinning when the waiter said the could take the cup and straw home. She managed to shove it in her purse as they walked.

Once everything was paid for- Steve insisted on paying at least half the bill- he took her arm and started back home. "I had fun being out with you today." He said.

"I had fun to. To bad we have to go back to New York soon." Aurora smiled. "When we get there I have a surprise for you." she squeezed his hand gentle. "You'll like it I promise."

Steve raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really? Well then, I can't wait to get back." He said lightly.

"Of course they found Bruce and the others already packed all with slightly annoyed looks on there faces. "What happened?" Aurora blinked. "Tony." Nat snorted. "And he said Bruce and I where bad." she rolled her eyes. "You don't want to go in there. We already packed everything." Aurora blinked then turned pink. "Oh."

Steve took a moment to realize what was going on, but understood the moment someone mentioned Tony. "It was only a matter of time." He said with a sigh.

"yeah." Aurora chuckled. "He's going to be so pissed when he realizes we left him here." she smirked and boarded the jet with the others holding Steve's hand. "He's got Jarvis so he should be fine."

Steve shook his head, chuckling. "Honestly? I can see him being happy that we left him alone." He said. "I feel a little bad for Gemini, though."

"So do." Aurora snorted. "poor girl has no idea what she got herself into...though I can't say I'm doing much better in the way of being safe with who I'm with. At least I know the only girl you where with was Peggy and I don't think you two did it. If you did I'm not judging. Lord knows I can't." she sighed. "Am I blabbering?"

Steve raised an eyebrow. "You are babbling, just a little bit. But it's fine, I like hearing you talk." He told her. "To answer your question though...no, Peggy and I never..." He coughed a little. "We kissed, once, but that was it."

"OK." Aurora sounded way to happy about that. "Oh Clint drop us off here." she handed him a paper and they took off. Of course they landed in D.C. in record time. "Lets check in at headquarters and then I'll show you the surprise."

Steve nodded. "Alright, then." He said, content to follow Aurora wherever she wanted to go.

Aurora lead Steve around the city finally stopping at a nursing home. "Keep in mind I have no idea what she's like." she signed them in before hearing to a room where an older Peggy was lying in her. "Tah dah. See I'm totally not jealous of an old lady."

Steve paused, staring at Peggy. Then he turned to Aurora and hugged her tightly. "Thank you." He whispered in her ear, before letting go and going over to visit with Peggy.

Peggy turned to look at him. "Steve?" she gasped. "Your alive?" Tears appeared in her eyes. "It's been so long."
Aurora smiled and slipped outside giving them time to talk. |

A couple weeks later Aurora was sitting watching the news at her apartment wondering what Steve was doing. They had both been busy. She had been searching for a place for the fire stone to go while Fury had Steve on mission's for Shield. She sighed wishing Steve was there so they could cuddle. Tony groaned and rolled over to stare at the ceiling. "Has it been two weeks already?" he stretched a little. |
It was right at that moment that Steve knocked on Aurora's door, having just gotten back from a mission. He hadn't even gone home yet- he just wanted to see her.
Gemini mumbled something into her pillow. She was curled into a fetal position, with her tail wrapped around her. "I would say yes, all things considered." She answered. |
"Coming." Aurora headed for the door opening it. "STEVE!" she grinned and hugged him tightly. "Welcome back! I wasn't expecting you to come over till tomorrow. You must be exhausted."
Tony sat up smirking. "I think I might have lost a few pounds." he kissed her forehead. "I'm going to go start breakfast come down when your ready." he slipped away stretching out as he walked. |
Steve smiled and hugged Aurora back happily. "I couldn't wait to see you." He said. "I'm tired, yeah, but not too much."
"Mhm..." Gemini mumbled. It took her a few minutes before she could drag herself up and head downstairs. |
Tony made waffles and bacon by the time she got dowstairs it was almost done.
Aurora smiled and pulled away. "Come sit down and relax. Are you hungry?" |
