Reilly nodded. She didn't even care about the deception right then. She just wanted to go burn the clothes out back.

Steve nodded and got it off for her quickly, making sure she was steady before he dropped down to his knees to take off her boots and socks for her.

Once her jeans were off, Bucky stood up again.

"Stay here," he said. He quickly disappeared into the hall, searching out the bathroom. He came back to her with a wet washcloth and handed it to her. "Clean up as best you can, unless you think you can handle a full shower."

Aurora braced herself on his shoulders, letting him get her boots and socks. Her boots were beyond repair, completely stained with blood, but her socks were in decent shape.

Reilly started wiping down methodically with the washcloth, determinedly not looking at the blood accumulation on it until she had to flip it over.

Steve tossed her socks in the laundry before getting her jeans off her as well. He kept a hand on her back as he gently herded her into the bathroom for a shower.

Bucky took the washcloth from her once she was done. He paused when he heard the shower start.

"Do you think you feel up to a full shower once your sister is done?" he asked. "Or would you rather just settle in now?"

Aurora let him herd her into the bathroom, and just mechanically started the shower. Once the water was hot enough, she stepped into it.

Reilly paused, actually considering that. "Shower," she said after a moment. Her hair was gross, and the washcloth had been good for now, but she really needed a full shower.

Steve didn't stand and watch her, but he did make sure he wasn't far away, and listening in case she needed him.

"Alright," Bucky said, nodding. "Soon. I think Steve put your sister in first."

Aurora just mechanically scrubbed everything off, until her skin was starting to turn red. She managed to get her hair clean, and then just stood there for a few moments.

Reilly nodded. "Good," she murmured.

Steve waited until he couldn't hear movement anymore, and then he groped behind him for a towel. "Done?" he asked gently, though he still didn't actually turn to look.

"Yeah," Aurora said after a moment. She turned off the water, and took the towel he handed her, wrapping it around herself. Her skin was red from being scrubbed so much.

Bucky nudged Reilly.

"Come on," he murmured. "Sounds like the shower is free. Time to finish cleaning up."

Steve gave her a few moments before he turned. He didn't say anything about her skin, although he did purse his lips a bit.

"Right, clean night clothes," he said, gently herding her out of the shower.

Reilly nodded and grabbed clean clothes and a towel, waiting until she was sure Aurora was out of the bathroom before trudging in.

Aurora just let herself be herded out of the bathroom and back to her bedroom. Her nightclothes were on her bed, so she just rummaged in her dresser for a moment for a pair of underwear.

Bucky made sure Reilly got into the shower, waiting until the water turned on before he went to make sure there was a towel waiting for her when she got out.

Steve made sure she was actually going to get dressed before he left, giving her a bit of room. That gave him time to rummage in the kitchen and find some vodka and a couple glasses. He poured a bit into two glasses and headed back over to Bucky first.

"Here, thought you might need this for her," he said, jerking his head at the bathroom door.

Reilly took her time showering, mostly because it was a huge effort to actually move and wash herself off. But she did it.

"Good idea," Bucky said, taking the glass. "How's yours so far? Reilly's not doing so well, though she's trying to hide it, I think."

"Not so good," Steve said after a moment. "Taking it hard. I'm hoping she'll feel better tomorrow."

"Yeah," Bucky said. He sighed. "Kids, Stevie. They shouldn't have had to deal with that, we should have gotten there sooner and taken care of things."

"I know." Steve clenched his jaw. "We should have been more careful, expanded our territory so they never even settled."

"Well, we're not gonna let it happen again," Bucky said. "As soon as they're doing better, we'll go out and stake out more territory."

Steve nodded. "Agreed," he murmured. "After they're doing better." He shook his head a bit. "I'm gonna take this in to Aurora."

Bucky nodded.

"Go on," he said. "I should check on Reilly."

Steve nodded and went back to Aurora's room, knocking quietly. "Can I come in?"

Reilly had finished showering and dressing and had moved back to her bedroom, sitting on the bed. That was as far as she'd gotten. She was just stuck staring at the floor.

Aurora just looked over when he cracked the door open, but didn't verbally respond. She just didn't have it in her at the moment.

Bucky knocked on the doorframe and then went into the room.

"Hey," he said softly, going over and sitting next to her. He pressed the glass into her hand. "Here. This will help some."

Steve walked over to her and handed her the glass. "Strong stuff, but it'll help right now," he told her.

Reilly looked at it for a moment before she tossed it back. Oh vodka. Yum. She licked her lips and set the glass on her bedside table.

Aurora just took the glass, looked at it, and tossed it back. Then she made a face and set the glass aside.

"Very strong," she said, shaking her head a bit.

"Better?" Bucky asked, sitting so his shoulder was against hers, offering comfort.

"Vodka," Steve said, sitting next to her and putting his arm around her. "Best I could find."

"A bit," Reilly said after a moment, leaning into him. "It'll take a few days, I think."

"Not much of a hard drink person," Aurora said, leaning against him. "But this once, it helps some."

"I understand," Bucky said. He put an arm around her and pulled her closer. "No rush, just take your time."

"Good." Steve pulled her in a little closer.

Reilly nodded a bit, settling in there and closing her eyes for a bit. She doubted she'd really sleep, but she could rest for a bit.
