"Alright but I might want you to come back." The man grinned more. "I'll just have to order something else."

Rosemary struggled to keep the smile on her face as she blushed and curtsied politely to the knights. She hurried away from the table gratefully, hoping against hope that they didn't order anything else.

Alex watched the knights talk. There where discussing the fact that the princess's had managed to escape. He smirked a little as they tried to guess how they had done it and why.

Rosemary went about serving tables, happy to find that she was actually quite good at it, especially for someone who had never even tried before. She came around to Alex's table at one point. "Is there anything I can help you with, sir?" She asked him.

Alex smiled at her. "Just a refill of cider please." he handed her the money. "Those men weren't giving you any trouble where they? If they do there's any easy way to get them to stop."

Rosemary inclined her head politely, smiling. "The knights? No, not really. Nothing knights don't do every day, anyway. But thank you for your concern." She picked up his mug, preparing to take it back and refill it, but paused. "Justout of curiosity, though...what is this easy way of yours?"

"Step on there toes not hard but enough so that it will hurt and when they complain say how very sorry you are but you didn't see there foot there." Alex gestured to the tops of his shoes. "Right there should be good."

Rosemary tilted her head, considering, then smiled. "That's smart. Thank you for the advice." She said, picking the mug up and whisking it away. She gave him a wink as she walked off.

Alex blushed softly and watched her go. With a shake of his head he sighed "Head in the game Alex."

Lori was washing the windows of the bakery humming softly.

Cal had walked a good while before coming back around to the bakery. He pretended not to notice her in the window as he walked in. He didn't have to pretend to love the smell, or fake the smile that ended up on his face.

The owner came out wiping flour from her hands. "Can I help you?" she asked eyeing him like he was going to try stealing. Lori glanced over and glared when she recognized the man from the inn.

Cal smiled charmingly at the owner. "Good afternoon, miss." He said, walking forward to greet her. He ignored Lori completely. "I was looking to buy a few things for my brother. He's got quite a sweet tooth, and he's been working hard lately." He explained. "Would you happen to have cinnamon rolls, by any chance?"

"yes I just made a fresh batch." the woman smiled. She pulled out the tray of fresh cinnamon rolls still steaming. "Ten pieces of copper or a bronze bear."

Cal closed his eyes for a moment, allowing himself to enjoy the scent of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. "Those look delicious. I'll take two, please." He said, setting the appropriate amount of copper pieces on the counter.

The lady tested the copper and bagged the rolls. "There you are please come again."

Cal gave her his most charming smile and bowed slightly as he took the bag. "Thank you very much." He said, and turned to leave. He still didn't bother to acknowledge Lori, except to nod at her and then leave.

Lori frowned, shrugged then went back to work humming as she did the floors.

Alex was growing bored at the inn with nothing to do. He would need to leave soon to keep from looking suspicious.

Rosemary was starting to get tired, but refused to show it. She wanted her first day to be as productive as possible, and if that meant running herself into the ground, then so be it. So far, the knights hadn't bothered her any more, and she was glad for that small favor. She wondered idly as she cleared a table how her sister was doing.

Cal entered the inn, still smiling jovially. He spotted his brother, still sitting at the table where they'd eaten breakfast, and made his way over. "I got us lunch, Brother." He said, setting the bag down.

"Lunch?" Alex opened it and stared at the cinnamon buns. "I'm pretty sure that's dessert." he smirked a little.

As the day wrapped up for the bakery Lori helped with the dishes and putting the desserts away in there proper place. She dragged herself back to the inn feeling tired but she was smiling. She waved to her sister knowing the poor girl wouldn't be done for another five minutes.

Cal shrugged. "The best kind of lunch." He said with a smirk. He noticed when Lori walked in, but again didn't acknowledge her.

Rosemary looked up to see her sister walk in, looking tired. She must have gotten a good job. She thought as she cleared away more tables. It was five minutes of work more before the innkeeper told her she was done for the night, and she warily went upstairs. Instead of going straight to bed, she found out from the innkeeper that there was a bathing tub around back, with hot water and everything. She gathered her clothes and went out to take a bath.

Lori sat at the table alone for a change and just people watched picking up information about there disappearance. She smirked a little at all the guess until someone said that they had fled because they had found lovers and that one of them was pregnant. She nearly choked on her drink and swallowed with difficulty.

Rosemary cursed. The hot water, as it turned out, had to be headed in a cauldron over a fire before being put into the tub, and she was currently trying to start a fire. She was failing spectacularly. She cursed again, relishing the ability to do so without being scolded, and sighed as she sat back on her heels. She contemplated whether to go inside and ask for help, or keep trying until she got it. Either way, there was no way she was going to bed without a bath.

Alex decided to go for a walk and found the younger sister struggling. "Do you need help?" he asked with a smile glad she was dressed. He knelt next to her and packed the fireplace with place. "Here we go." he showed her how. "Like that." he sat back.

Rosemary was still deciding what to do when a voice sounded from behind her, making her jump. It was the man she had waited on earlier. She blushed slightly at being caught helpless. "Um...yes, please." She didn't bother explaining why she couldn't start a fire- he didn't seem to care either way. He showed her how to start the fire properly, and she reached forward to try it. She got it on the second try. "Oh! I did it! Thank you, um...sorry, I didn't catch your name." She said.

"My names Alex." Alex greeted her with a smile. "What your name? If I might ask."
